1 Pahumalili na vamlota vaudese pagati ya vandu, na mewawa vawula va udese yati vihumila pagati yinu. Vandu venavo yati viyingisa chamfiyu mawuliwu ga udese na kumbela BAMBU mweavagombwili, ndava yeniyo yati vakujiletela kuyongomela kwavi vene.
But false prophets also arose amongst the people, as false teachers will also be amongst you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.
2 Kavili vandu vamahele yati vakuzilanda njila zavi zezileta soni, ndava yavi, vandu vangi yati vakuyivevesa njila ya chakaka.
Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned.
3 Ndava ya mnogo wavi uhakau yati vakujipatila mashonga kuhuma kwinu kwa kuvajovela humu za udese. Nambu Chapanga amalili kuhamula kuhumila kadeni kuvya yati akuvahamula, na avi mihu chakaka yati akuvakoma.
In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn’t linger, and their destruction will not slumber.
4 Yikavya Chapanga avahengili lepi lipyana vamitumi va kunani kwa Chapanga vevambudili, nambu avatagili pandu pepavi na mang'ahiso kuni vakungiwi minyololo kuchitita ng'ong'olo, vilindila ligono la kuhamuliwa. (Tartaroō g5020)

5 Mewawa Chapanga ahengili lepi lipyana mulima wa kadeni, penapo peatonyisi fula yeyaletili manji gamahele gaugubika mulima wewavili na vandu vangamyogopa Chapanga. Nambu amsangwili Nuhu mweavi akuvakokosela vandu vakita gegakumganisa Chapanga, pamonga na vandu vangi saba.

6 Chapanga abunili milima ya Sodoma na Gomola, akayitinyisa kwa motu, akayikita yivya luhumu lwa mambu gegakuvapata vandu vangamyogopa Chapanga.
and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, having made them an example to those who would live in an ungodly way,
7 Amsangwili Lutu, mweakitayi gegakumganisa Chapanga, ndi mweaviniswi na kutama kwavi kwa uhakau kwa vandu vevabelili Malagizu.
and delivered righteous Lot, who was very distressed by the lustful life of the wicked
8 Loti atamili pagati ya vandu avo, na ang'ahiki neju mumtima waki kila ligono pealolayi na kuyuwana matendu gavi gahakau gevakitayi.
(for that righteous man dwelling amongst them was tormented in his righteous soul from day to day with seeing and hearing lawless deeds),
9 Hinu ndi, BAMBU amanyili chakuvagombola mukulingiwa vandu vevakumuyupa Chapanga, nambu amanyili kuvavika vandu vahakau mumbunu mbaka ligono Chapanga peihamula vandu va mulima,
then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgement,
10 ndi vala vevilanda umnogo uhakau weuhakasa wa higa na kuvevesa uhotola. Vawula ava va udese ndi vinonopa mitima na vevimeka, vakuviliga na vavitopesa lepi viumbi vyevina ukulu vya kunani kwa Chapanga.
but chiefly those who walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,
11 Nambu hati vamitumu va Chapanga vana makakala neju kuliku vawula vaudese avo, nambu vakuvatakila lepi na kuvaliga viumbi avo palongolo ya BAMBU.
whereas angels, though greater in might and power, don’t bring a slanderous judgement against them before the Lord.
12 Vandu avo veviliga chochoha chila vangachimanya. Ndi ngati hinyama yangali luhala, ndi vevilekewa na mwanakandahi vikamuliwa na kuhinjwa, kwevilanda chevawumbiwi. Yati vikomiwa ndava ya uhalabisa wavi vene.
But these, as unreasoning creatures, born natural animals to be taken and destroyed, speaking evil in matters about which they are ignorant, will in their destroying surely be destroyed,
13 Yati vilipiswa mang'ahiso ndava ya mang'ahiso gevahengili. Vene vihekelela kukita chochoha chechikuvaganisa mu mnogo wa higa zavi kangi ndi muhi njwee. Vandu venavo vana mwenendu uhakau na soni peviwungana na nyenye mukuvagongolela wa mselebuko wa muchakulya chinu, kuni vihekelela njila zavi za udese.
receiving the wages of unrighteousness; people who count it pleasure to revel in the daytime, spots and defects, revelling in their deceit while they feast with you;
14 Mihu gavi gamemili ukemi na katu vileka lepi kumbudila Chapanga. Vene vakuvalongosa vandu vangayima chakukangamala mumitegu ya kumbudila Chapanga. Mitima yavi yiyovalili kuvya na mnogo wa kuvya na vindu vyamahele. Vene vapewi likoto na Chapanga!
having eyes full of adultery, and who can’t cease from sin, enticing unsettled souls, having a heart trained in greed, accursed children!
15 Vayilekili njila yaselede, vakayaga na kuyilanda njila ya Balaamu, mwana wa Beoli ndi mwayovalili kupata mashonga kwa kukita uhakau,
Forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of wrongdoing;
16 akaywangiwa ndava ya uhakau waki. Lipunda langahotola kujova, likalongela kwa lwami lwa mundu, adivalili lupengu lwa mlota uyo.
but he was rebuked for his own disobedience. A speechless donkey spoke with a man’s voice and stopped the madness of the prophet.
17 Vandu avo ndi ngati chinyepa zeziyumili ngati mahundi gegibuluswa na mpungu, Chapanga avavikili matamilu gavi pahala pa chitita chikulu. (questioned)
These are wells without water, clouds driven by a storm, for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever. (questioned)
18 Vijova malovi gakumeka na gangavya gabwina, na kwa mnogo wavi uhakau wa higa kuvayonja vandu vala vevajibagwili magono gagaga na vandu vevitama mukumbudila Chapanga.
For, uttering great swelling words of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those who are indeed escaping from those who live in error;
19 Vakuvajovela vandu yati vilekekeswa kuhuma kuuvanda, pamonga vene ndi vavanda va vindu vyevihabisa wumi wavi, muni mundu ndi mvanda wa chochoha chila chechimtalalila.
promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for a man is brought into bondage by whoever overcomes him.
20 Vandu vevamalili kulema muubuda wa mumulima kwa kugana kummanya BAMBU na Msangula witu Yesu Kilisitu, kangi vayidakili kukamuliwa na kuhotoleka lepi na uhaku, vandu venavo yati vivya vahakau neju kuliku pevatumbwili.
For if, after they have escaped the defilement of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in it and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
21 Ngayivi mbanga kwavi ngati ngavakotoka kumanya njila yeniyo ya kumganisa Chapanga kuliku kuyimanya na kangi kuyileka na kuyagisa malagizu gamsopi gevapokili.
For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
22 Yivii ngati humu yeyijova, “Libwa liwuyila madekelu gaki lene” Na yingi yeyijova, “Liguluvi lelisambiswi libilinduka kangi mumadakali!” Ndi cheyivili kwavi hinu.
But it has happened to them according to the true proverb, “The dog turns to his own vomit again,” and “the sow that has washed to wallowing in the mire.”
