2 Vakolinto 1

1 Nene Pauli, mtumi wa Kilisitu Yesu kwa kugana kwa Chapanga, pamonga na mlongo witu Timoti. Nikuvayandikila nyenye vandu mwemkumsadika Kilisitu kwenuko ku Kolinto, na vandu voha vma Chapanga vevavi kila pandu pamulima wa Akaya.

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, through the will of God, and Timothy the brother, —unto the assembly of God which is in Corinth, together with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:

2 Tikuvaganila uteke na ubwina kuhuma kwa Chapanga Dadi witu na BAMBU witu Yesu Kilisitu.

Favour unto you, and peace, from God [our] Father, and Lord Jesus Christ.

3 Chapanga alumbiwa wa BAMBU witu Yesu Kilisitu, Dadi mweavi na lipyana na Chapanga mweipolesa mitima.

Blessed, be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassions, and God of all encouragement,

4 Chapanga akutipolesa mitima mang'ahiso gitu goha muni na tete tivapolesa mitima vangi vevana mu mang'ahiso ndalindali, kwa kupoleswa mitima wula wetiupokili kuhuma kwa mwene.

Who encourageth us in all our tribulation, to the end we may be able to encourage them who are in any tribulation—through means of the encouragement wherewith we, ourselves, are encouraged by God.

5 Na chating'aika kupata mang'ahiso ndava ya kumhengela Kilisitu mewawa ndi chetipoleswa neju mitima na Kilisitu.

Because, even as the sufferings of the Christ overflow unto us, so, through the Christ, overfloweth, our encouragement also.

6 Ngati tinga'hika, ndi ndava kupoleswa mitima kwinu na kusanguliwa kwinu. Tikapoleswa mitima ndi mewa na nyenye pamupoleswa mitima na kupewa makakala ga kukangamala mang'ahiso galagala.

But, whether we are in tribulation, it is for your encouragement and salvation; whether we are encouraged, it is for your encouragement, which worketh inwardly by the endurance of the same sufferings which, we also, suffer; —

7 Kangi, huvalila yitu ndava yinu gasindimili, timanyili kuvya mwakahanganilayi mumanga'iso gitu, mewawa na nyenye yati mwihanganila kupoleswa mitima kwitu.

And so, our hope, is sure in your behalf, —knowing that, —as ye are sharers of the sufferings, so, also of the encouragement.

8 Valongo, tigana lepi nyenye mkoto kumanya mang'ahiso gegatikolili ku Asia, mang'ahiso genago gatopili neju, kupita uhotola witu wa kukangamala hati huvalila yoha ya kutama yatimaliki.

For we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, as to our tribulation which happened in Asia, —that, exceedingly, beyond power, were we weighed down, so that we despaired, even of life.

9 Chakaka tete mumitima yitu tajiwene ngati vandu vevahukumiwi kukomewa, muni tiwuliwayi kumhuvalila Chapanga mweakuvayukisa vevafwili, pahala pa kuhuvalila makakala gitu tavete.

But, we ourselves, within ourselves, have had the sentence of death, that we might not rest our confidence upon ourselves, but upon God, who raiseth the dead,

10 Mwene atisangwili mung'aiso gavaha gala gegaganili kutikoma, na iyendelela kutisangula, tete timvikili huvalila yitu kuvya yati akutisangula kavili.

Who, out of so great a death, rescued us, and will rescue, —unto whom we have turned our hope, [that], even yet, he will rescue:

11 Na mwavene mukutitangatila kwa kutiyupila kwa Chapanga. Kutiyupila kwinu yati muyanguliwa, na Chapanga yati akutimotisa ndi vandu vamahele yati vakumsengusa Chapanga ndava yitu.

Ye also labouring together on our behalf, by your supplication, that, unto many persons, being due the gift of favour, unto us, through means of many, might thanks be given in our behalf.

12 Tete timekela chindu chimonga, mtima witu ukutijovela muuchakaka kuvya titamili pamulima apa na neju pagati yinu, mumtima wa usopi na mukusadikika kwekwihuma kwa Chapanga. Tihengili genago lepi kwa luhala lwa chimundu, nambu kuhuma kuubwina wa Chapanga.

For, our boasting, is, this, —the witness of our conscience, that, in sanctity and sincerity of God, [and] not in fleshly wisdom, but in God’s favour, have we behaved ourselves in the world, —and more abundantly towards you.

13 Tikuvayandikila nyenye mambu gamwihotola kugasoma na kugamanya. Mtima wangu wisadika kuvya yati mwimanya hotohoto,

For, no other things, are we writing unto you, than what ye are either reading or even acknowledging, —I hope, moreover, that, throughout, ye will acknowledge,

14 muni mbaka hinu mwimanya padebe. Kangi timanya kuvya mwimanya hotohoto kuvya mu ligono la kuwuya BAMBU witu Yesu yati mwimeka ndava yitu ngati tete yati chetimekela ndava yinu.

According as ye have also acknowledged us, in part, —that, your theme of boasting, we are, even indeed as, ye, also [shall be], ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.

15 Navi na uchakaka mulijambu lenilo, ndi napangili kuvagendelela nyenye kumbele, muni mpata mota mala zivili kwa kunilola nene mala zivili.

And, in this confidence, I purposed, before, to come unto you, —in order that, a second joy, ye might have, —

16 Navi na mpangu kuvedukila kwinu mulugendu lwa kuhamba mulima wa Makedonia na mewa palukumbi lwa kuwuya, muni nipatayi utangatila winu mulugendu lwangu lwa kuhamba ku Yudea.

And, by your means, to pass into Macedonia, and, again, from Macedonia, to come unto you, and, by you, be set forward unto Judea: —

17 Muhololela wuli? Panapangili genago nivii ngati namundu nangali luhala. Wu, muholalela kuvya penipanga mambu gangu nikita ngati vandu va mulima uwu “Veviyidakila goha na kubela goha palukumbi lumonga?”

This, then, being my purpose, perhaps, after all, with lightness, I dealt [with the matter]? or, the things that I purpose, according to the flesh, I purpose, —that, with me, should be the Yea, yea, and the Nay, nay?

18 Nambu Chapanga ndi mchakaka hotohoto, ujumbi witu kwinu lepi lijambu la kujova “Ena” Na bahapo “Lepi.”

Faithful, however, is God, in that, our discourse, which was [delivered] unto you, is not Yea and Nay;

19 Muni Yesu Kilisitu, Mwana wa Chapanga, mweakokosiliwi kwinu nyenye na Sila na Timoti, na nene Siliwano, avili lepi mundu wa “Ena” Na kubela “Lepi” Mulukumbi lumonga nambu magono goha ndi Ena ya Chapanga.

For, the Son of God, Christ Jesus—who, among you, through us, was proclaimed, —through me, and Silvanus, and Timothy, became not Yea and Nay, —but Yea, in him, hath it become;

20 Muni mwene ndi mweitimalisa malaganu goha ga Chapanga. Mewawa mu njila ya Yesu Kilisitu tijova “Ena” Ndava ya kumulumba Chapanga.

For, how many soever be the promises of God, in him, is the Yea, —wherefore also, through him, [be] the Amen, unto God, for glory, through us.

21 Chapanga ndi mweatihagwili na mweatikangamalisa tete pamonga na nyenye mukuwungana na Kilisitu,

Now, he that confirmeth us, together with you, for Christ, and hath anointed us, is God:

22 Atipeli Mpungu Msopi mumitima yitu muni alangisa tete ndi tavandu va Chapanga na avyai ulangisu wa kulangisa kuvya chakaka.

Who also hath sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

23 Chapanga ndi mshuudila wangu, mwene aumanyili mtima wangu! Nawuyili lepi kavili Kolinto, ndava nikotoka kuvavinisa mitima mukuvajovela malovi gakali.

But, I, call upon God, as a witness, against my own soul, —that, to spare you, not yet, have I come unto Corinth:

24 Tihenela lepi makakala ndava ya sadika yinu, nyenye msindimili mukusadika kwinu. Getiganikiwa kuhenga lihengu pamonga ndava ya sangaluka yinu.

Not that we have lordship over your faith, but are, helpers, of your joy, for, by your faith, ye stand.
