< 1 Vakolinto 12 >

1 Valongo, nigana mmanya kuvala njombi ya Mpungu Msopi, nigana nyenye mmanya bwina mambu aga.
But, concerning the spiritually gifted, brethren, I am not wishing you to be ignorant.
Ye know that, when ye were of the nations, unto the dumb idols, howsoever ye were being led, ye were seduced.
3 Hinu, mmanya kuvya kawaka mundu mweihotola kujova, “Yesu apewi likoto!” Kuni ilongoswa na Mpungu wa Chapanga. Mewawa kawaka mundu mweihotola kujova, “Yesu ndi BAMBU,” Changalongoswa na Mpungu Msopi.
Wherefore, I give you to know—that, no one, in God’s Spirit speaking, saith—Accursed Jesus! and, no one, can say—Lord Jesus! save in [the] Holy Spirit.
4 Njombi za mpungu zivii zamahele, nambu Mpungu mweiwusa njombi yeniyo ndi mmonga.
But, distributions of gifts, there are, yet the same Spirit,
5 Zivii njila zamahele za kumhengela, nambu BAMBU mweihengewa ndi mmonga.
And, distributions of ministries, there are, and the same Lord,
6 Gavi mahengu ndalindali ga kukita, nambu Chapanga mmonga ndi mweihotolesa mahengu goha kwa vandu voha.
And, distributions of energies, there are, and the same God—who energiseth all things in all.
But, unto each one, is given the manifesting of the Spirit, with a view to that which is profitable;
For, unto one, indeed, through the Spirit, is given, a word of wisdom, but, unto another, a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; —
Unto a different one, faith, in the same Spirit, and, unto another, gifts of healings, in the one Spirit,
And, unto another, energies of mighty works, [and], unto another, prophesying, [and], unto another, discriminations of spirits, —unto a different one, kinds of tongues, and, unto another, translation of tongues; —
11 Genago goha ndi mahengu ga Mpungu Msopi yuyo mmonga, ndi mwakumpela uhotola kila mmonga, ngati cheigana mwene.
But, all these, energiseth the one and the same Spirit, distributing unto each one, peculiarly, even as it is disposed.
12 Ngati chayivii higa yimonga yeyivii viwungu vyamahele, na viwungu vyenivyo vyoha vikita higa yimonga, ndi chayivii mewawa kwa Kilisitu.
For, just as, the body, is one, and yet hath many members, but, all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so, also, the Christ; —
13 Muni, tete, tikavyai Vayawudi amala Vandu vangali Vayawudi, vavanda amala vangavya vavanda, tavoha tibatiziwi kwa Mpungu mmonga muhiga yiyoyo yimonga, na tavoha vatinywili Mpungu yuyo mmonga.
For, even to one Spirit, we all, into one body, have been immersed, —whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free, —and, all, of one Spirit, have been caused to drink.
14 Higa lepi chiwungu chimonga ndu, nambu viwungu vyamahele.
For, the body also, is not one member, but many:
15 Ngati chigendelu ngachijijovili, “Ndava muni nene nachiwoko lepi, hinu nene lepi pandu pahiga,” Ndi ngaulekili kuvya pandu pa higa.
Though the foot should say—Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, Is it, therefore, not, of the body?
16 Ngati likutu ngalijijoveli, “Ndava nene lepi lihu, hinu nene lepi pandu pa higa,” Ndi ngaulekili lepi likutu ilo kuvya pandu pa higa.
And, though the ear should say—Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, Is it, therefore, not, of the body?
17 Ngati higa yoha ngayivya lihu, likutu ngalivii koki? Na ngati higa yoha ngayivya likutu, mundu ngaihotola wuli kunuha?
If, the whole body, were, an eye, where were the hearing? If, the whole were, hearing, where were, the smelling?
18 Nambu hinu Chapanga avipangili viwungu vyenivyo kila chimonga pandu paki ngati cheaganili.
But, now, hath God set the members, each one of them in the body, even as he pleased.
19 Ngati vyoha gavivii chiwungu chimonga, higa ngayivii lepi!
But, if they all had been one member, Where had been, the body?
20 Uchakaka ndi uwu, pandu pa higa ndi pamahele, nambu higa ndi yimonga.
Now, however there are many members, yet one body;
21 Hinu, lihu lihotola lepi kuchijovela chiwoko, “Nikuganili lepi veve,” Mewawa mutu nakuhotola kugajovela magendelu, “Nivaganili lepi nyenye.”
[And] the eye cannot say unto the hand—I have no need of thee, —nor, again, the head, unto the feet—I have no need of you: —
22 Nambu neju ya ago, yilolekana kuvya pandu pa higa pepilolekana kuvya ngolongondi, ndi vyeviganikiwa neju.
Nay! much more, the members which seem to be weaker are necessary,
23 Kangi, viwungu vyetiholalela kuvya vyangatopeswa neju, ndi vyatikuvivika bwina.
And, the parts of the body which we deem to be less honourable, on these, more abundant honour, do we bestow, and, our uncomely parts, have, more abundant comeliness,
24 Nambu viwungu vyeviyidakiliwa kulolekana kwa vandu chigana lepi kugubikwa. Chapanga mwene ayivikili higa mumpangu na kuchipela utopesa chiwungu chila chechipungukiwi utopesa,
Whereas, our comely parts, have, no need. But, God, hath tempered the body together, —unto that which was lacking, giving more abundant honour; —
25 muni vyoha vikoto kulekengana muhiga, nambu viwungu vyoha vitangatilana.
That there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have, the same, care, one for another;
26 Ngati chiwungu chimonga chikalemala ndi viwungu vyoha vilemala pamonga nachu. Chiwungu chimonga chikalumbiwayi ndi viwungu vingi vyoha viheka pamonga nachu.
And, whether one member, suffereth, all the members, suffer with it, or, a member is glorified, all the members, rejoice together.
27 Hinu, mwavoha nyenye ndi higa ya Kilisitu, kila mmonga winu ndi chiwungu cha higa yeniyo.
Now, ye, are the body of Christ, and members severally; —
And God hath, indeed, set, certain, in the assembly, —first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that mighty works, then gifts of healings, helps, guidings, kinds of tongues.
29 Voha lepi vamitumi, valota va Chapanga amala vawula.
Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all mighty works?
30 Lepi voha vevihotola kulamisa vatamu amala kujova luga ya mupya amala kudandaula luga ya chiyehe.
Have, all, gifts of healings? Do, all, with tongues, speak? Do, all, translate?
31 Hinu ndi, mukangamala neju kunogela njombi yivaha yamahele. Na nene yati nikuvalangisa njila yabwina neju kuliku zoha.
Be envious, however, of the greater gifts; and, yet, a much more excellent way, unto you, I point out: —
