जकरिया 2

1 अनि मैले माथितिर हेरें र एउटा मानिसले आफ्नो हातमा नाप्ने डोरी लिएको देखें ।

And I lift up my eyes, and look, and behold, a man, and in his hand a measuring line.

2 मैले भनें, “तपाईं कहाँ जाँदैहुनुहुन्छ?” उहाँले मलाई भन्‍नुभयो, यरूशलेमलाई नाप्न, त्यसको लमाइ र चौडाइ थाहा गर्न” ।”

And I say, “To where are you going?” And he says to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see how much [is] its breadth and how much its length.”

3 त्यसपछि मसँग कुरा गरिरहेका स्वर्गदूत त्यहाँबाट गए र अर्को एउटा स्वर्गदूत उनलाई भेट्न निस्के ।

And behold, the messenger who is speaking with me is going out, and another messenger is going out to meet him,

4 दोस्रो स्वर्गदूतले उनलाई भने, “दौडेर जाऊ र त्यस जवान मानिसलाई यस्तो भन, ‘यरूशलेमभित्रका मानिसहरू र पशुहरूको ठुलो संख्याको कारण त्यो पर्खालविनाको देश हुनेछ ।

and he says to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem is inhabited [as] open places, From the abundance of man and beast in her midst.

5 किनभने म त्यसको वरिपरि आगोको पर्खाल हुनेछु, र त्यसभित्रको महिमा म नै हुनेछु, परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।

And I am to her—a declaration of YHWH—A wall of fire all around, And I am for glory in her midst.

6 जाओ, जाओ, उत्तरको देशबाट भाग - परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ, किनभने मैले तिमीहरूलाई आकाशका चार बतासझैँ तितर-बितर पारेको छु - परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।

Behold, and flee from the land of the north, A declaration of YHWH, For as the four winds of the heavens, I have spread you abroad, A declaration of YHWH.

7 ए बेबिलोनकी छोरीसँग बस्‍ने हो, जाओ, भागेर सियोनमा जाओ!’”

Behold, Zion, be delivered who are dwelling [with] the daughter of Babylon.

8 किनकि सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुले मलाई सम्मानित गर्नुभएर तिमीहरूलाई लुट्ने जातिहरूको विरुद्ध मलाई पठाउनुभएपछि (किनकि जसले तिमीहरूलाई छुन्छ, त्यसले परमेश्‍वरका आँखाको नानीलाई छुन्छ!) उहाँले भन्‍नुभयो,

For thus said YHWH of Hosts: He has sent Me after glory to the nations who are spoiling you, For he who is coming against you, Is coming against the pupil of His eye.

9 “तिनीहरूमाथि म आफैँ आफ्ना हात टक्‍टक्याउनेछु, र तिनीहरूका आफ्नै दासहरूले तिनीहरूलाई लुट्नेछन्।” त्यसपछि सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुले मलाई पठाउनुभएको हो भन्‍ने कुरा तिमीहरूले थाहा पाउनेछौ ।

For behold, I am waving My hand against them, And they have been a spoil to their servants. And you have known that YHWH of Hosts has sent Me.

10 “सियोनकी छोरी, रमाहटको गीत गाऊ, किनकि म आफैँ नै आएर तिमीहरूका बिचमा वास गर्नेछु!- परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।”

Sing, and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, For behold, I am coming, and have dwelt in your midst, A declaration of YHWH.

11 त्यसपछि त्यस दिन महान् जातिहरू परमप्रभुकहाँ मिल्न आउनेछन् । उहाँ भन्‍नुहुन्छ, “अनि तिमीहरू मेरा मानिस हुनेछौ, किनकि म तिमीहरूका बिचमा वास गर्नेछु,” र सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुले मलाई पठाउनुभएको हो भन्‍ने कुरा तिमीहरूले थाहा पाउनेछौ ।

And many nations have been joined to YHWH in that day, And they have been to Me for a people, And I have dwelt in your midst, And you have known that YHWH of Hosts has sent Me to you.

12 किनकि पवित्र भूमिमा परमप्रभुले यहूदालाई आफ्नो उत्तराधिकारझैँ प्राप्‍त गर्नुहुनेछ र उहाँले फेरि पनि यरूशलेमलाई आफ्नो निम्ति चुन्‍नुहुनेछ ।

And YHWH has inherited Judah, His portion on the holy ground, And He has fixed again on Jerusalem.

13 सारा मानिस हो, परमप्रभुको अगि शान्त होओ, किनकि उहाँ आफ्नो पवित्र सहरबाट जागिउठ्नुभएको छ ।

Hush, all flesh, because of YHWH, For He has been roused up from His holy habitation!”
