जकरिया 2
1 अनि मैले माथितिर हेरें र एउटा मानिसले आफ्नो हातमा नाप्ने डोरी लिएको देखें ।
And I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold a man, with a measuring line in his hand.
2 मैले भनें, “तपाईं कहाँ जाँदैहुनुहुन्छ?” उहाँले मलाई भन्नुभयो, यरूशलेमलाई नाप्न, त्यसको लमाइ र चौडाइ थाहा गर्न” ।”
And I said: Whither goest thou? and he said to me: To measure Jerusalem, and to see how great is the breadth thereof, and how great the length thereof.
3 त्यसपछि मसँग कुरा गरिरहेका स्वर्गदूत त्यहाँबाट गए र अर्को एउटा स्वर्गदूत उनलाई भेट्न निस्के ।
And behold the angel that spoke in me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him.
4 दोस्रो स्वर्गदूतले उनलाई भने, “दौडेर जाऊ र त्यस जवान मानिसलाई यस्तो भन, ‘यरूशलेमभित्रका मानिसहरू र पशुहरूको ठुलो संख्याको कारण त्यो पर्खालविनाको देश हुनेछ ।
And he said to him: Run, speak to this young man, saying: Jerusalem shall be inhabited without walls, by reason of the multitude of men, and of the beasts in the midst thereof.
5 किनभने म त्यसको वरिपरि आगोको पर्खाल हुनेछु, र त्यसभित्रको महिमा म नै हुनेछु, परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।
And I will be to it, saith the Lord, a wall of fire round about: and I will be in glory in the midst thereof.
6 जाओ, जाओ, उत्तरको देशबाट भाग - परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ, किनभने मैले तिमीहरूलाई आकाशका चार बतासझैँ तितर-बितर पारेको छु - परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।
O, O flee ye out of the land of the north, saith the Lord, for I have scattered you into the four winds of heaven, saith the Lord.
7 ए बेबिलोनकी छोरीसँग बस्ने हो, जाओ, भागेर सियोनमा जाओ!’”
O Sion, flee, thou that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon:
8 किनकि सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुले मलाई सम्मानित गर्नुभएर तिमीहरूलाई लुट्ने जातिहरूको विरुद्ध मलाई पठाउनुभएपछि (किनकि जसले तिमीहरूलाई छुन्छ, त्यसले परमेश्वरका आँखाको नानीलाई छुन्छ!) उहाँले भन्नुभयो,
For thus saith the Lord of hosts: After the glory he hath sent me to the nations that have robbed you: for he that toucheth you, toucheth the apple of my eye:
9 “तिनीहरूमाथि म आफैँ आफ्ना हात टक्टक्याउनेछु, र तिनीहरूका आफ्नै दासहरूले तिनीहरूलाई लुट्नेछन्।” त्यसपछि सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुले मलाई पठाउनुभएको हो भन्ने कुरा तिमीहरूले थाहा पाउनेछौ ।
For behold I lift up my hand upon them, and they shall be a prey to those that served them: and you shall know that the Lord of hosts sent me.
10 “सियोनकी छोरी, रमाहटको गीत गाऊ, किनकि म आफैँ नै आएर तिमीहरूका बिचमा वास गर्नेछु!- परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।”
Sing praise, and rejoice, O daughter of Sion: for behold I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee: saith the Lord.
11 त्यसपछि त्यस दिन महान् जातिहरू परमप्रभुकहाँ मिल्न आउनेछन् । उहाँ भन्नुहुन्छ, “अनि तिमीहरू मेरा मानिस हुनेछौ, किनकि म तिमीहरूका बिचमा वास गर्नेछु,” र सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुले मलाई पठाउनुभएको हो भन्ने कुरा तिमीहरूले थाहा पाउनेछौ ।
And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and they shall be my people, and I will dwell in the midst of thee: and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me to thee.
12 किनकि पवित्र भूमिमा परमप्रभुले यहूदालाई आफ्नो उत्तराधिकारझैँ प्राप्त गर्नुहुनेछ र उहाँले फेरि पनि यरूशलेमलाई आफ्नो निम्ति चुन्नुहुनेछ ।
And the Lord shall possess Juda his portion in the sanctified land: and he shall yet choose Jerusalem.
13 सारा मानिस हो, परमप्रभुको अगि शान्त होओ, किनकि उहाँ आफ्नो पवित्र सहरबाट जागिउठ्नुभएको छ ।
Let all flesh be silent at the presence of the Lord: for he is risen up out of his. holy habitation.
