जकरिया 10
1 वसन्त ऋतुको मौसममा परमप्रभुबाट वर्षा माग, परमप्रभु जसले आकाशमा बिजुली र आँधी बनाउनुहुन्छ, अनि उहाँले सबैलाई वर्षाको झरी र भूमिमा उब्जनी दिनुहुनेछ ।
They asked of Jehovah rain in a time of latter rain, Jehovah is making lightnings, And rain [in] showers He doth give to them. To each — the herb in the field.
2 किनकि घरका मूर्तिहरू झुट बोल्छन्, र भविष्य बताउनेहरू झुटा दर्शनहरू देख्छन् । तिनीहरू छलपूर्ण सपनाहरू बताउँछन् र व्यर्थका सान्त्वना दिन्छन् ।यसैकारण तिनीहरू भेडाझैँ बरालिन्छन् र गोठालो नभएकोले समस्यामा पर्छन् ।
Because the teraphim did speak iniquity, And the diviners have seen a falsehood, And dreams of the vanity they speak, [With] vanity they give comfort, Therefore they have journeyed as a flock, They are afflicted, for there is no shepherd.
3 “मेरो क्रोध गोठालाहरूमाथि खनिन्छ । भाले बोको, अर्थात् अगुवाहरूलाई म दण्ड दिनेछु । सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुले उहाँको बगाल अर्थात् यहूदाको घरानाको हेरचाह गर्नुहुनेछ र तिनीहरूलाई युद्धको घोडाझैँ बनाउनुहुनेछ!
Against the shepherds did Mine anger burn, And against the he-goats I lay a charge, For inspected hath Jehovah of Hosts His flock, the house of Judah, And set them as His beauteous horse in battle.
4 कुने-ढुङ्गो यहूदाबाट आउनेछ । पालको कीला त्यसबाट आउनेछ, अनि युद्धको धनु र हरेक शासक एकसाथ त्यसैबाट आउनेछ ।
From him [is] a corner-stone, From him a nail, from him a battle-bow, From him goeth forth every exactor together.
5 युद्दको मैदानको माटोमा आफ्ना शत्रुहरूलाई कुल्चने योद्धाहरूझैँ तिनीहरू हुनेछन् । तिनीहरूले युद्ध गर्नेछन्, किनकि परमप्रभु तिनीहरूसँग हुनुहुन्छ, र तिनीहरूले युद्धका घोडा चढ्नेहरूलाई शर्ममा पार्नेछन् ।
And they have been as heroes, Treading in mire of out-places in battle, And they have fought, for Jehovah [is] with them, And have put to shame riders of horses.
6 म यहूदाको घरानाललाई बलियो बनाउनेछु र योसेफको घरानालाई बचाउनेछु, किनकि म तिनीहरूलाई पुनर्स्थापित गर्नेछु र तिनीहरूमाथि दया देखाउनेछु । तिनीहरू वहिष्कृत नभएकाहरूझैँ हुनेछन्, किनकि म परमप्रभु तिनीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ, र म तिनीहरूलाई उत्तर दिनेछु ।
And I have made mighty the house of Judah, And the house of Joseph I do save, And I have caused them to dwell, for I have loved them, And they have been as [if] I had not cast them off, For I [am] Jehovah their God, And I answer them.
7 अनि एफ्राइम योद्धाझैँ हुनेछ, र तिनीहरूका हृदय मद्यले झैँ आनन्दित हुनेछ । तिनीहरूका छोराछोरीहरूले यो देखेर आनन्द मनाउनेछन् । तिनीहरूका हृदय ममा आनन्दित हुनेछन्!
And Ephraim hath been as a hero, And rejoiced hath their heart as wine, And their sons see, and they have rejoiced, Rejoice doth their heart in Jehovah.
8 म तिनीहरूलाई सुस्केराले बोलाउनेछु र तिनीहरूलाई भेला गराउनेछु । म तिनीहरूलाई बचाउनेछु, र तिनीहरू पहिलेको झैँ महान् हुनेछन्!
I hist for them, and I gather them, For I have redeemed them, And they have multiplied as they did multiply.
9 मैले तिनीहरूलाई मानिसहरूका बिचमा छरेँ, तर तिनीहरूले मलाई टाढा-टाढाका देशहरूमा सम्झनेछन्, यसैकारण तिनीहरू र तिनीहरूका छोराछोरीहरू बाँच्नेछन् र फर्कनेछन् ।
And I sow them among peoples, And in far-off places they remember Me, And they have lived with their sons, And they have turned back.
10 किनकि म तिनीहरूलाई मिश्र देशबाट पुनर्स्थापित गर्नेछु र तिनीहरूलाई अश्शूर देशबाट भेला गराउनेछु । गिलाद र लेबनानमा तिनीहरूका निम्ति ठाउँ बाँकी नरहेसम्म म तिनीहरूलाई त्यहाँ लानेछु ।
And I have brought them back from the land of Egypt, And from Asshur I do gather them, And unto the land of Gilead and Lebanon I do bring them in, And there is not found for them [space].
11 म तिनीहरूको पीडाको समुद्रबाट भएर जानेछु । म त्यस समुद्रका छालहरूलाई प्रहार गर्नेछु र नील नदीका सबै गहिराइलाई सुकाइदिनेछु । अश्शूरको गौरव घटाइनेछ, र मिश्रको राजदण्ड मिश्रीहरूबाट टाढा जानेछ ।
And He hath passed over through the sea, And hath pressed and smitten billows in the sea, And dried up have been all depths of a flood, And brought down hath been the excellency of Asshur, And the rod of Egypt doth turn aside.
12 तिनीहरूलाई म ममा नै बलियो बनाउनेछु, र तिनीहरू मेरो नाउँमा हिँड्नेछन्, परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।”
And I have made them mighty in Jehovah, And in His name they walk up and down, An affirmation of Jehovah!
