रोमी 8
1 त्यसकारण, अब ख्रीष्ट येशूमा भएकाहरूलाई दण्डको कुनै आज्ञा छैन ।
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
2 किनकि ख्रीष्ट येशूमा जीवनको आत्माको सिद्धान्तले मलाई पाप र मृत्युको सिद्धान्तबाट स्वतन्त्र बनाएको छ ।
For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death.
3 जुन कुरा गर्न व्यवस्था असमर्थ थियो, सो परमेश्वरले गर्नुभयो, किनकि यो शरीरद्वारा कमजोर थियो । उहाँले आफ्ना पुत्रलाई पापमय शरीरको रूपमा पापको निम्ति बलिदान हुन पठाउनुभयो र उहाँले पापलाई शरीरमा दण्ड दिनुभयो ।
For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He thus condemned sin in the flesh,
4 हामीमा व्यवस्थाको मापदण्ड पुरा हुन सकोस् भनेर उहाँले यसो गर्नुभयो, ताकि हामी शरीरअनुसार होइन, तर आत्माअनुसार चल्न सकौँ ।
so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
5 जो शरीरअनुसार जिउँछन्, तिनीहरूले शरीरको कुरामा ध्यान दिन्छन्, तर जो आत्माअनुसार जिउँछन्, तिनीहरूले आत्माको कुरामा ध्यान दिन्छन् ।
Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
6 शरीरको मानसिकता मृत्यु हो, तर आत्माको मानसिकता जीवन र शान्ति हो ।
The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace,
7 शरीरको मानसिकता परमेश्वरप्रति शत्रुता हो, किनकि यो परमेश्वरको व्यवस्थाको अधीनमा छैन, न यो बस्न नै समर्थ हुन्छ ।
because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.
8 जो शरीरमा छन्, उनीहरू परमेश्वरलाई खुसी तुल्याउन सक्षम छैनन् ।
Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God.
9 तापनि तिमीहरू शरीरमा छैनौ, तर आत्मामा छौ, यदि यो सत्य हो भने परमेश्वरका आत्मा तिमीहरूमा बास गर्नुहुन्छ । तर यदि कसैसँग ख्रीष्टका आत्मा हुनुहुन्न भने, त्यो उहाँको होइन ।
You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
10 यदि तिमीहरूमा ख्रीष्ट हुनुहुन्छ भने, पापको निम्ति शरीर मृत हुन्छ, तर धार्मिकताको निम्ति आत्मा जीवित हुन्छ ।
But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
11 येशूलाई मृतकहरूबाट जीवित पार्नुहुनेका आत्मा तिमीहरूमा बास गर्नुहुन्छ जसले ख्रीष्टलाई मृतकहरूबाट जीवित पार्नुभयो भने, उहाँले नै तिमीहरूमा बास गर्नुहुने उहाँका आत्माद्वारा तिमीहरूको मरणशील शरीरलाई जीवन दिनुहुनेछ ।
And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.
12 त्यसकारण, भाइ हो, हामी ऋणी छौँ, तर शरीरअनुसार जिउन शरीरप्रति ऋणी छैनौँ ।
Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation, but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.
13 तिमीहरू शरीरअनुसार जिउँछौ भने, तिमीहरू मर्न लागेका छौ, तर तिमीहरूले आत्माद्वारा शरीरका कामहरूलाई मार्छौ भने तिमीहरू जिउनेछौ ।
For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
14 किनकि जति परमेश्वरका आत्माद्वारा डोर्याइएका छन्, तिनीहरू नै परमेश्वरका छोराछोरीहरू हुन् ।
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
15 किनकि तिमीहरूले डरको लागि दासत्वको आत्मा पाएका छैनौ । बरु, तिमीहरूले धर्मपुत्रको आत्मा पाएका छौ जसद्वारा हामी “अब्बा, पिता!” भनी पुकार्छौं ।
For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
16 हामी परमेश्वरका सन्तान हौँ भनी पवित्र आत्मा स्वयम्ले हाम्रो आत्मालाई गवाही दिनुहुन्छ ।
The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
17 यदि हामी सन्तानहरू हौँ भने त हामी उत्तराधिकारीहरू पनि हौँ अर्थात् परमेश्वरका उत्तराधिकारीहरू हौँ । अनि हामी ख्रीष्टसँगै साझे-उत्तराधिकारीहरू हौँ । वास्तवमा हामीले उहाँसँगै कष्ट भोग्यौँ भने, हामी पनि उहाँसँगै महिमित हुन सक्छौँ ।
And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him.
18 यो वर्तमान समयका कष्टहरू हामीलाई प्रकट गरिने महिमासँग तुलना गर्न योग्यका छैनन् भन्ने म ठान्छु ।
I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us.
19 किनकि सृष्टिको उत्कट आशा परमेश्वरका पुत्रहरूको प्रकटीकरणको प्रतीक्षामा छ ।
The creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God.
20 किनकि सृष्टिलाई व्यर्थताको वशमा सुम्पिएको छ; यसको आफ्नै इच्छामा होइन, तर यसलाई वशमा राख्नुहुनेको इच्छामा । यो दृढ निश्चयता हो,
For the creation was subjected to futility, not by its own will, but because of the One who subjected it, in hope
21 कि सृष्टि स्वयम्लाई विनाशको दासत्वबाट मुक्त गरिनेछ, र यसलाई परमेश्वरका सन्तानहरूका महिमाको स्वतन्त्रतामा ल्याइनेछ ।
that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
22 हामी जन्दछौँ, कि सारा सृष्टि अहिले पनि एकसाथ क्रन्दन र प्रसव वेदनामा छ ।
We know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until the present time.
23 यति मात्र होइन, तर पवित्र आत्माको पहिलो फल भएका हामी आफैँ पनि हाम्रो धर्मपुत्र ग्रहणको प्रतीक्षा अर्थात् हाम्रो शरीरको उद्धारको प्रतीक्षामा हामी आफैँभित्र क्रन्दनमा छौँ ।
Not only that, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
24 किनकि हामीलाई यही भरोसाद्वारा बचाइएको थियो । तर जे हुनेछ भनी हामी विश्वस्त छौँ, त्यो अझ देखिएको छैन, किनकि अगाडि नै देखिएको कुराको निम्ति कसले दृढतासाथ प्रतीक्षा गर्छ र?
For in this hope we were saved; but hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he can already see?
25 तर यदि हामी अझैसम्म नदेखिएका कुरामा विश्वस्त छौँ भने, हामी यसको लागि धैर्यसाथ प्रतीक्षा गर्दछौँ ।
But if we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it patiently.
26 त्यसै गरी, पवित्र आत्माले पनि हाम्रो कमजोरीमा सहायता गर्नुहुन्छ । किनकि कसरी प्रार्थना गर्ने भनी हामी जान्दैनौँ, तर पवित्र आत्माले व्यक्त गर्न नसकिने क्रन्दनमा हाम्रो निम्ति मध्यस्थता गर्नुहुन्छ ।
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words.
27 जसले हृदयको खोजी गर्नुहुन्छ उहाँले पवित्र आत्माको विचार जान्नुहुन्छ, किनकि उहाँले परमेश्वरको इच्छाअनुसार विश्वासीहरूको तर्फबाट अन्तरबिन्ती गर्नुहुन्छ ।
And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
28 हामी जान्दछौँ, कि परमेश्वरलाई प्रेम गर्नेहरू र उहाँको उद्देश्यअनुसार बोलाइएकाहरूका निम्ति उहाँले सबै थोकमा एकसाथ भलाइको निम्ति काम गर्नुहुन्छ अर्थात् (नोटः केही पुरानो संस्करणमा यस्तो छ) सबै थोकले एकसाथ भलाइको निम्ति नै काम गर्छन् ।
And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
29 किनकि जसलाई उहाँले पहिलेदेखि नै जान्नुहुन्थ्यो, धेरै भाइहरूमध्ये ज्येष्ठ होऊन् भनी उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई आफ्नो पुत्रको स्वरूप समान हुन पहिले नै नियुक्ति गर्नुभयो ।
For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.
30 जसलाई उहाँले पहिले नै नियुक्ति गर्नुभयो, तिनीहरूलाई उहाँले बोलाउनु पनि भयो । जसलाई उहाँले बोलाउनुभयो, तिनीहरूलाई धर्मी पनि ठहर्याउनुभयो । जसलाई उहाँले धर्मी ठर्याउनुभयो, तिनीहरूलाई उहाँले महिमित पनि पार्नुभयो ।
And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.
31 त्यसो भए, यी कुराहरूको विषयमा हामी के भनौँ त? यदि परमेश्वर नै हाम्रो पक्षमा हनुहुन्छ भने, हाम्रो विरुद्धमा को हुन्छ र?
What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32 जसले आफ्ना पुत्रलाई पनि बाँकी राख्नुभएन तर हामी सबैको तर्फबाट उहाँलाई सुम्पिदिनुभयो, कसरी उहाँले हामीलाई उहाँसँगै सबै थोक पनि सितैँमा दिनुहुन्न र?
He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, freely give us all things?
33 परमेश्वरका चुनिएकाहरूका विरुद्धमा कसले दोष ल्याउने? धर्मी तुल्याउनुहुने त परमेश्वर नै हुनुहुन्छ ।
Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
34 दण्डको आज्ञा दिनुहुने को हुनुहुन्छ? हाम्रो निम्ति मर्नुहुने त ख्रीष्ट नै हुनुहुन्छ, अनि त्यसभन्दा बढी उहाँ जीवित भई उठ्नु पनि भयो । उहाँले आदरको स्थानमा रहेर परमेश्वरसँग शासन गर्दै हुनुहुन्छ, र हाम्रा लागि मध्यस्थता गरिरहनुहुने उहाँ नै हुनुहुन्छ ।
Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God—and He is interceding for us.
35 हामीलाई ख्रीष्टको प्रेमबाट कसले अलग गर्न सक्नेछ? सङ्कष्टले, वा दुःखले, वा सतावटले, वा भोकले, वा नग्नताले, वा खतराले, वा तरवारले?
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
36 जस्तो लेखिएको छ, “तपाईंको लाभको निम्ति हामी दिनभरि मारिन्छौँ । हामीलाई मारिने भेडाहरूझैँ ठानियो ।”
As it is written: “For Your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 यी सबै कुरामा हामी हामीलाई प्रेम गर्नुहुनेद्वारा विजेताहरूभन्दा पनि बढी छौँ ।
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
38 किनकि म विश्वस्त भएको छु, कि न मृत्युले, न जीवनले, न स्वर्गदूतहरूले, न शासकहरूले, न वर्तमानका कुराहरूले, न आउने कुराहरूले,
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
39 न उचाइले, न गहिराइले, न सृष्टि गरिएको कुनै थोकले हाम्रा प्रभु ख्रीष्ट येशूमा भएको परमेश्वरको प्रेमबाट हामीलाई अलग गर्न सक्छ ।
neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
