प्रकाश 21
1 अनि मैले नयाँ स्वर्ग र नयाँ पृथ्वी देखेँ, किनभने पहिलो स्वर्ग र पहिलो पृथ्वी बितिगए, र समुद्र त छँदै थिएन ।
AND I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 तब परमेश्वरबाट दुलहाका लागि दुलहीझैँ सिङ्गारिएर तयार पारिएकी पवित्र सहर, नयाँ यरूशलेम स्वर्गबाट तल झरिरहेको मैले देखेँ ।
And I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descending from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 मैले सिंहासनबाट चर्को सोरमा यसो भनेको सुनेँ, “हेर, परमेश्वरको वासस्थान मानव-जातिसँग छ, र उहाँ तिनीहरूसँग बास गर्नुहुनेछ । तिनीहरू उहाँका मानिसहरू हुनेछन्, अनि परमेश्वर आफैँ तिनीहरूसँग हुनुहुनेछ र उहाँ तिनीहरूका परमेश्वर हुनुहुनेछ ।
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall pitch his tent with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, their own God.
4 उहाँले तिनीहरूका आँखाबाट आँशुका हरेक थोपा पुछिदिनुहुनेछ, र त्यहाँ कुनै मृत्यु हुनेछैन, वा शोक वा विलौना वा कष्ट पनि हुनेछैन । पहिलेका थोकहरू बितेर गएका छन् ।
And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more; nor shall mourning, nor crying, nor toil be any more: because the former things are passed away.
5 सिंहासनमा विराजमान हुनुहुनेले भन्नुभयो, “हेर, म सबै कुरा नयाँ बनाउनेछु ।” उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “यो लेख किनभने यी वचनहरू भरोसायोग्य र सत्य छन् ।”
And he that sat upon the throne said, Lo! I make all things new: and he said unto me, Write that these sayings are true and faithful.
6 उहाँले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “यी कुराहरू सिद्धिएका छन् । म नै अल्फा र ओमेगा, सुरु र अन्त्य हुँ । जो तिर्खाउँछ उसलाई म सित्तैँमा जीवनको पानी मुहानबाट पिउन दिनेछु ।
And he said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end; I will give to him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 जसले विजय प्राप्त गर्छ, त्यसले यी कुराहरूमाथि उत्तराधिकार गर्नेछ, र म त्यसको परमेश्वर हुनेछ, र ऊ मेरो छोरा हुनेछ ।
He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be to him a God, and he shall be to me a son.
8 तर डराउनेहरू, अविश्वासीहरू, घिनलाग्दाहरू, हत्याराहरू, यौन-अनैतिकहरू, जादुगरहरू, मूर्तिपूजकहरू र झुट बोल्नेहरूको भाग बलिरहेको आगो र गन्धकको कुण्डमा हुनेछ । त्यो दोस्रो मृत्यु हो ।” (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
But to those who shrink back through fear, and to the infidels, and to the abominable, and to murderers, and to whoremongers, and to those who use magical incantations, and to idolaters, and to all liars, is their portion appointed in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death. 9 अन्तिम सात विपत्तिका कचौराले भरिएका स्वर्गदूतहरूमध्ये एक जना स्वर्गदूत मकहाँ आए, र तिनले भने, “यहाँ आऊ । म तिमीलाई थुमाकी पत्नी दुलही देखाउनेछु ।”
And there came to me one of the seven angels who held the seven vases full of the seven last plagues, and he talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
10 अनि तिनले मलाई आत्मामा बोकेर एउटा ठुलो अग्लो पर्वतमा लगे र परमेश्वरबाट स्वर्गदेखि तल झरिरहेको पवित्र सहर यरूशलेम मलाई देखाए ।
And he bore me away in spirit unto a great and exceeding high mountain, and shewed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
11 यरूशलेममा परमेश्वरको महिमा थियो, र त्यसको चमक बहुमूल्य रत्नहरूजस्तो, मणिक स्फटिक पत्थरको जस्तो थियो ।
having the glory of God: and her brilliance was like the most precious gem, as a jasper stone, transparent as crystal;
12 त्यसका बाह्रवटा ढोकासँगै एउटा ठुलो अग्लो पर्खाल थियो, ढोकाहरूमा बाह्र जना स्वर्गदूत थिए । ढोकाहरूमा इस्राएलको सन्तानका बाह्रै कुलका नाउँहरू लेखिएका थिए ।
and she had a great wall and lofty, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names inscribed on them, which are those of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.
13 पूर्वमा तिनवटा ढोका, उत्तरमा तिनवटा ढोका, दक्षिणमा तिनवटा ढोका र पश्चिममा तिनवटा ढोका थिए ।
From the east three gates; from the north three gates; from the south three gates; from the west three gates.
14 सहरका पर्खालका बाह्रवटा जग थिए, र तीमाथि थुमाका बाह्रै प्रेरितका बाह्रवटा नाउँ थिए ।
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 मसँग बोल्नुहुनेसँग सहर र त्यसका पर्खालहरू नाप्नलाई एउटा सुनको नाप्ने लौरो थियो ।
And he that talked with me held a golden cane to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 त्यो सहर वर्गाकार थियो; त्यसको लम्बाइ र चौडाइ उस्तै थिए । त्यस लौरोले सहर नाप्दा त्यो लगभग बाह्र हजार लम्बाइको थियो (त्यसको लम्बाइ, चौडाइ र उचाइ उस्तै थिए ) ।
And the city is a quadrangle, and the breadth of it is just as much as the length of it; and he measured the city with the cane, twelve thousand furlongs: the breadth, and the length, and the height of it, are exactly proportioned.
17 तिनले त्यसको पर्खाल पनि नापे, मानिसहरूद्वारा नाप्दा त्यो पैँसट्ठी मिटरको थियो । (जुन स्वर्गदूतहरूले पनि नापेको हो ) ।
He measured also the wall of it a hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, for such is that of an angel.
18 पर्खाल बिल्लौर र सहर शुद्ध सुनले सफा काँचजस्तै बनाइएको थियो ।
The structure of the wall of it was jasper, and the city pure gold, like clear glass.
19 पर्खालका जगहरू हर प्रकारका बहुमूल्य पत्थरद्वारा बनाइएका थिए । पहिलो बिल्लौर थियो, दोस्रो निलमणि थियो, तेस्रो हरित थियो, चौथो पन्ना थियो ।
And the foundations of the walls of the city were adorned with every precious stone: the first foundation a jasper; the second a sapphire; the third a chalcedony; the fourth an emerald;
20 पाँचौँ आनिक्स थियो, छैटौँ लालमणि थियो, सातौँ पीतमणि थियो, आठौँ बेरूज थियो, नवौँ पुष्पराज थियो, दसौँ लसुने रत्न थियो । एघारौँ नीलमणि थियो, र बाह्रौँ कटेला थियो ।
the fifth a sardonyx; the sixth a sardius; the seventh a chrysolite; the eighth a beryl; the ninth a topaz; the tenth a chrysoprasus; the eleventh a jacinth; the twelfth an amethyst.
21 बाह्रवटा ढोका बाह्र मोतीका थिए । प्रत्येक ढोका मोतीबाट बनेको थियो । सहरका गल्लीहरू निखुर सुनका थिए, काँचजस्तै छर्लङ्ग देखिन्थे ।
And the twelve gates were twelve several pearls; every one of the gates was of one pearl; and the street of the city was pure gold, as transparent glass.
22 मैले सहरमा कुनै मन्दिर देखिनँ, किनभने सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु परमेश्वर र थुमा नै यसको मन्दिर हुनुहुन्छ ।
And I saw no temple therein; for the Lord God Almighty is the temple thereof, even the Lamb.
23 सहरलाई उज्यालो पार्न सूर्य वा चन्द्रमाको कुनै आवश्यक थिएन । किनकि परमेश्वरको महिमा नै त्यसमाथि चमक थियो, र त्यसको बत्ती थुमा हुनुहुन्छ ।
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine upon it: for the glory of God illuminates it, and the Lamb is the lamp thereof.
24 त्यस सहरमा जाति-जातिहरू ज्योतिद्वारा हिँड्नेछन् । पृथ्वीका राजाहरूले आफ्ना वैभव त्यसमा ल्याउनेछन् ।
And the nations of those that are saved shall walk about in the light thereof; and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory and their honour into it;
25 यसका ढोकाहरू दिनको समयमा बन्द गरिनेछैनन्, र त्यहाँ रात हुनेछैन ।
and her gates shall be never shut by day (for there is no night there);
26 जाति-जातिहरूले आफ्ना गौरव र आदर त्यसभित्र ल्याउनेछन् ।
and they shall bring the glory and the honour of the nations into it.
27 र कुनै अशुद्ध थोक कहिल्यै त्यसभित्र पस्न पाउनेछैन, न त लाजमर्दो वा छलपूर्ण काम गर्नहरू त्यहाँ जान पाउनेछन्, तर थुमाको जीवनको पुस्तकमा नाउँ लेखिएकाहरू मात्र त्यहाँ पस्न पाउनेछन् ।
And there shall no more enter into it any thing unclean, or that practises abomination and lying; but only those who are written in the book of life of the Lamb.
