भजनसंग्रह 94
1 हे परमप्रभु, परमेश्वर जसले बदला लिनुहुन्छ । हे बदला लिनुहुने परमेश्वर, हामीमाथि चम्किनुहोस् ।
O GOD of avenging—Yahweh, GOD of avenging, shine forth:
2 हे पृथ्वीका न्यायकर्ता, उठ्नुहोस् । घमण्डीहरूलाई जे सुहाउँदो हुन्छ, त्यो तिनीहरूलाई दिनुहोस् ।
Lift up thyself, O judge of the earth, Render a recompense unto the proud.
3 हे परमप्रभु, दुष्टहरू कहिलेसम्म खुसी हुनेछन्, दुष्टहरू कहिलेसम्म आनन्दित हुनेछन्?
How long shall the lawless, O Yahweh, How long shall the lawless exult?
4 तिनीहरू आफ्ना घमण्डका शब्दहरू पोखाउँछन् । खराब गर्नेहरू सबै जना अहङ्कार गर्छन् ।
They pour forth [words], they speak arrogantly, All the workers of iniquity, do boast:
5 हे परमप्रभु, तिनीहरूले तपाईंका मानिसहरूलाई कुल्चिन्छन् । तिनीहरूले तपाईंका जातिलाई कष्ट दिन्छन् ।
Thy people, O Yahweh, they will crush, And, thine inheritance, tread down;
6 तिनीहरूले विधवाहरू र तिनीहरूका देशमा बस्ने विदेशीलाई मार्छन्, अनि तिनीहरूले अनाथहरूको हत्या गर्छन् ।
The widow and sojourner, they will slay, And, the fatherless, murder.
7 तिनीहरू भन्छन्, “परमप्रभुले देख्नुहुन्न । याकूबका परमेश्वरले यो कुरामा ध्यान दिनुहुन्न ।”
Yet have they said—Yah, doth not see, The God of Jacob, doth not understand.
8 ए बुद्धिहीन मानिसहरू हो, तिमीहरू बुझ । ए मूर्खहरू, तिमीहरू कहिले सिक्नेछौ?
Understand, ye brutish among the people, And, ye dullards, when will ye show discretion?
9 उहाँ जसले कान बनाउनुभयो, उहाँले सुन्नुहुन्न र? उहाँ जसले आँखा बनाउनुभयो, उहाँले देख्नुहुन्न र?
He that planteth the ear, shall he not hear? Or, that fashioneth the eye, shall he not have power to see?
10 उहाँ जसले जातिहरूलाई अनुशासित गर्नुहुन्छ, के उहाँले सच्याउनुहुन्न र? मानिसलाई ज्ञान दिने उहाँ नै हुनुहुन्छ ।
He that correcteth nations, shall he not reprove? He that teacheth man knowledge!
11 परमप्रभुले मानिसहरूका विचारहरू जान्नुहुन्छ, ती वाफ हुन् ।
Yahweh, knoweth the plans of men, That, they, are a breath!
12 हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंले जसलाई शिक्षा दिनुहुन्छ, जसलाई तपाईंले आफ्नो व्यवस्था सिकाउनुहुन्छ, त्यो धन्यको हो ।
How happy the man whom thou correctest, O Yah! And whom, out of thy law, thou instructest!
13 दुष्टहरूका निम्ति खाडल नखनेसम्म तपाईंले त्यसलाई कष्टको समयमा विश्राम दिनुहुन्छ ।
That thou mayest give him rest from the days of misfortune, Until there be digged—for the lawless one—a pit.
14 किनकि परमप्रभुले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई त्यग्नुहुन्न वा आफ्ना उत्तराधिकारलाई छोड्नुहुन्न ।
For Yahweh, will not abandon, his people, And, his inheritance, will he not forsake;
15 फैसला फेरि धर्मीको आधारमा हुनेछ । अनि हृदयमा सोझो हुनेहरू सबै जनाले यसको अनुसरण गर्नेछन् ।
For, unto righteousness, shall the judicial sentence return, Then shall follow it—all the upright in heart.
16 खराब गर्नेहरूका विरुद्धमा मेरो सुरक्षा गर्न को उठ्नेछ? दुष्टको विरुद्धमा मेरो समर्थनमा को खडा हुनेछ?
Who will rise up for me, against the evil-doers? Who will make a stand for me, against the workers of iniquity?
17 परमप्रभु मेरो सहायता नहुनुभएको भए, म तुरुन्तै मौनताको ठाउँमा पल्टिरहेको हुनेथिएँ ।
If, Yahweh, had not been a help to me, Soon had sunk into silence—my soul!
18 जब मैले भनें, “मेरो खुट्टा चिप्लँदैछ,” हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंको करारको विश्वस्तताले मलाई माथि उचाल्यो ।
If I say, My foot, hath slipped, Thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh, supporteth me.
19 जब मभित्र फिक्रीहरू धैरै हुन्छन्, तब तपाईंका सान्त्वनाहरूले मलाई खुसी बनाउँछन् ।
In the multitude of my cares within me, Thy consolations, delight my soul.
20 के विनाशको सिंहासन, जसले नियमद्वारा अन्यायको सृजना गर्छ सो तपाईंसँग मिल्न सक्छ र?
Shall the throne that inflicteth ruin, have fellowship with thee, That frameth oppression, by statute?
21 तिनीहरू धर्मीको ज्यान लिन सँगै षड्यन्त्र रच्छन् र तिनीहरूले निर्दोषलाई मृत्युदण्ड दिन्छन् ।
They make an attack on the life of the righteous one, —And, innocent blood, they condemn.
22 तर परमप्रभु मेरो अग्लो धरहरा हुनुभएको छ र मेरो परमेश्वर मेरो शरणस्थानको चट्टान हुनुभएको छ ।
But, Yahweh, hath become for me a high tower, And my God, my rock of refuge.
23 तिनीहरूका आफ्नै अधर्म उहाँले तिनीहरूमाथि ल्याउनुहुनेछ र तिनीहरूको आफ्नै दुष्टतामा तिनीहरूलाई नष्ट गर्नुहुनेछ । परमप्रभु हाम्रा परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई नष्ट पार्नुहुनेछ ।
Thus hath he brought back on them their iniquity, And, by their own wickedness, will he destroy them, Destroy them, will Yahweh our God.
