भजनसंग्रह 91
1 जो सर्वोच्चको छत्रछायामा बस्छ, त्यो सर्वशक्तिमान्को छायामा रहनेछ ।
Those who live under the protection of God Almighty, will be able to rest [safely] under his care.
2 म परमप्रभुको बारेमा भन्छु, “उहाँ मेरो शरणस्थान र मेरो किल्ला हुनुहुन्छ, मेरो परमेश्वर जसमा म भरोसा गर्छु ।”
I will declare to Yahweh, “You protect me; [you are like] a fort [MET] in which I am safe. You are my God, the one in whom I trust.”
3 किनकि उहाँ तिमीलाई शिकारीको पासो र घातक रूढीबाट बचाउनुहुनेछ ।
Yahweh will rescue you from all hidden traps and save you from deadly diseases.
4 उहाँले तिमीलाई आफ्नो पखेटाहरूले ढाक्नुहुनेछ र उहाँको पखेटाहरूमुनि तिमीले शरण पाउनेछौ । उहाँको सत्यताचाहिं ढाल र सुरक्षा हो ।
He will shield/protect you [like a bird shields/protects its chicks] [MET] with/under her wings. You will be safe (in his care/because he takes care of you). His faithfully doing what he has promised is like a shield [MET] that will protect you.
5 तिमी रातको त्रसदेखि वा दिनमा आउने काँडदेखि,
You will not be afraid of things that happen during the night that could (terrorize you/cause you to be very afraid), or of arrows that [your enemies will shoot at you] during the day.
6 वा अँध्यारोमा चाहार्ने रूढी वा मध्यदिनमा आउने रोगदेखि भयभीत हुनेछैनौ ।
You will not be afraid of (plagues/widespread sicknesses) that demons cause when they attack people at night, or of other [evil forces] that kill people at midday.
7 हजार जना तिम्रो छेउमा र तिम्रो दाहिने हातपट्टि दश हजार जना ढल्लान्, तर त्यो तिमीकहाँ आउनेछैन ।
Even if 1,000 people fall [dead] alongside you, even if 10,000 [people are dying] around you, you will not be harmed.
8 तिमीले दुष्टको दण्ड नियाल्ने र देख्ने मात्र छौ ।
Look and see that (wicked people are being punished/God is punishing wicked people)!
9 किनकि पमरप्रभु मेरो शरणस्थान हुनुहुन्छ । सर्वोच्चलाई तिम्रो पनि शरणस्थान बनाऊ ।
If you allow Yahweh to protect you, if you trust God Almighty to (shelter/take care of) you,
10 कुनै खराबीले तिमीलाई जित्नेछैन । तिम्रो घर नजिक कुनै कष्ट आउनेछैन ।
nothing evil will happen to you; no plague will come near your house,
11 किनकि उहाँले तिमीलाई सुरक्षा दिन, तिम्रा सबै मार्गमा तिम्रो रेखदेख गर्न आफ्ना स्वर्गदूतहरूलाई निर्देशन दिनुहुनेछ ।
because Yahweh will command his angels to protect you wherever you go.
12 तिनीहरूले तिमीलाई आफ्ना हातले थाम्नेछन्, ताकि तिमीले आफ्ना खुट्टालाई ढुङ्गामा ठोकाउनेछैनौ ।
They will hold you up with their hands, with the result that you will not hurt your foot on a big stone.
13 तिमीले आफ्नो खुट्टामुनि सिंहहरू र गोमनहरूलाई कुल्चनेछौ । तिमीले जवान सिंहहरू र सर्पहरू कुल्चनेछौ ।
You will be [kept safe from being harmed by your enemies] [MET]; [it will be as though] you are stepping on lions and poisonous snakes [without them harming you!]
14 त्यो मप्रति समर्पित भएको हुनाले म त्यसलाई बचाउनेछु । म त्यसलाई सुरक्षा दिनेछु किनभने त्यो मप्रति बफदार छ ।
[Yahweh says], “I will rescue those who love me, I will protect them because they (acknowledge that I am Yahweh/know me).
15 जब त्यसले मलाई पुकारा गर्छ, तब म त्यसलाई जवाफ दिनेछु । म कष्टमा त्योसँग हुनेछु । म त्यसलाई विजय दिनेछु र त्यसको आदर गर्नेछु ।
When they call out to me, I will answer them. I will help them when they are experiencing trouble; I will rescue them and honor them.
16 म त्यसलाई लामो जीवनले सन्तुष्ट पार्नेछु र त्यसलाई मेरो उद्धार देखाउनेछु ।
I will reward them by enabling them to live a long time, and I will save them.”
