भजनसंग्रह 87

1 उहाँले स्थापित गर्नुभएको सहर पवित्र पर्वतमा खडा छ ।

A song. A psalm of the descendants of Korah. The Lord founded the city on his holy mountain.

2 याकूबका सबै पालभन्दा धेरै पमरप्रभुले सियोनको ढोकाहरूलाई नै मन पराउनुहुन्छ ।

Jerusalem is the city that the Lord loves more than any other city in Israel.

3 हे परमेश्‍वरको सहर, तेरो बारेमा महिमित कुराहरू भनिएको छ । सेला

Many wonderful things are said of you, city of God! (Selah)

4 “मेरा अनुसरण गर्नेहरूलाई म राहाब र बेबिलिन उल्लेख गर्छु । हेर, कूशसँगै पलिश्ति र टुरोस छन्, र भन्‍नेछन् 'यो त्यहाँ जन्मियो' ।”

I mention Egypt and Babylon as those who know me, and in addition Philistia, Tyre, and Ethiopia—“this man was born there.”

5 सियोनको बारेमा यसो भनिनेछ, “यिमध्‍ये हरेक त्‍यहाँ जन्मेका थियो । अनि सर्वोच्‍चले नै त्यसलाई स्थापित गर्नुहुनेछ ।”

It will be said concerning Jerusalem, “Everyone was born there,” and the Most High will make it secure.

6 परमप्रभुले जातिहरूका जनगणनाका पुस्तकमा लेख्‍नुहुन्छ, “यो त्‍यहाँ जन्मेको थियो ।” सेला

When the Lord registers the nations, he will write, “They were born there.” (Selah)

7 त्यसैले पनि गायकहरू र नाच्‍नेहरूले पनि मिलेर भन्‍छन्, “मेरा सबै मूलहरू तँमा छन् ।”

Singers and dancers alike say, “Living here I am at home.”
