< भजनसंग्रह 76 >

1 परमेश्‍वरले आफैलाई यहूदामा प्रकट गर्नुभएको छ । इस्राएलमा उहाँको नाउँ महान् छ ।
To the Chief Musician. With Stringed Instruments. A Melody of Asaph, a Song. God is, known in Judah, In Israel, great is his Name;
2 उहाँको पाल शालेममा छ । उहाँको बासस्‍थान सियोनमा छ ।
Now hath come into Salem, his pavilion, And his dwelling-place into Zion.
3 त्यहाँ उहाँले धनुको काँड, तरवार, ढाल र युद्धका अन्य हतियारहरू नष्‍ट गर्नुभयो । सेला
There, hath he broken in pieces the arrows of the bow, shield and sword, and battle. (Selah)
4 पर्वतहरूमाथि तपाईंले आफ्‍ना शिकारहरू मारेर ओर्लनुहुँदा तपाईं चम्‍किनुहुन्‍छ र आफ्‍नो माहिमा प्रकट गर्नुहुन्छ ।
Enveloped in light, thou, art more majestic than the mountains of prey.
5 साहसी हृदय भएकाहरू लुटिएका थिए । तिनीहरू मस्त निद्रमा परे । सबै योद्धाहरू असहाय थिए ।
The valiant of heart have become a spoil, They have slumbered their sleep, And none of the men of might have found their hands.
6 हे याकूबको परमेश्‍वर, तपाईंले हप्काउनुहुँदा घोडाचढी र घोडा दुवै मस्त निद्रामा परे ।
At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, Stunned are the horsemen.
7 तपाईंको, हो तपाईंकै भय मानिन्छ । तपाईं रिसाउनुहुँदा तपाईंको सामु को खडा हुन सक्छ र?
As for thee, to be feared thou art! Who then shall stand before thee, because of the power of thine anger?
8 स्वर्गबाट तपाईंले आफ्नो न्याय सुनाउनुभयो । पृथ्वी भयभीत र चूपचाप थियो ।
Out of the heavens, didst thou cause judgment to be heard, Earth, feared and was still:
9 हे परमेश्‍वर, जति बेला तपाईं न्याय गर्न र पृथ्वीका सबै थिचोमिचोमा परेकाहरूलाई बचाउन उठ्नुभयो । सेला
When God rose up to judgment, To save all the oppressed of the earth. (Selah)
10 निश्‍चय नै, मानवजातिको विरुद्धमा तपाईंको क्रोधपूर्ण न्यायले तपाईंलाई प्रशंसा ल्याउनेछ । तपाईंको क्रोधबाट बाँकी रहेकाहरूले तपाईंले आफूलाई घेर्नुहोस् ।
For the multitude of mankind shall give thanks unto thee, The remainder of the multitude, shall keep holy festival unto thee.
11 परमप्रभु आफ्‍ना परमेश्‍वरसँग भाकल गर र ती पुरा गर । उहाँको वरिपरि भएका सबै जनाले उहाँलाई उपहारहरू ल्याऊन् जसको भय मान्‍नुपर्छ ।
Vow and pay, unto Yahweh your God, —Let, all who are round about him, bear along a gift unto him who is to be revered.
12 उहाँले शासकहरूका आत्मा नाश पार्नुहुन्छ । पृथ्वीका राजाहरूले उहाँको भय मान्छन् ।
He cutteth off the spirit of nobles, he is of reverend majesty to the kings of the earth.
