भजनसंग्रह 74
1 हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंले हामीलाई किन सदाको निम्ति इन्कार गर्नुभएको छ? तपाईंको क्रोध किन तपाईंका खर्कका भेडाहरूका विरुद्धमा दन्किन्छ?
An Instructive Psalm. Asaph’s. Wherefore, O God, hast thou cast off utterly? Shall thine anger smoke against the flock of thine own pasturing?
2 आफ्ना मानिसहरू जसलाई तपाईंले प्राचीन समयमा किन्नुभयो, तपाईंको आफ्नै उत्तराधिकार हुनलाई उद्धार गर्नुभएका कुलहरू र तपाईं वास गर्नुहुने सियोन पर्वतलाई सम्झनुहोस् ।
Remember thine own assembly thou didst acquire aforetime, Thou didst redeem the tribe of thine own inheritance, Mount Zion, wherein thou didst take up thy habitation.
3 आउनुहोस्, शत्रुले पवित्रस्थानमा गरेका सम्पूर्ण भग्नावशेष, सारा सर्वनाशलाई हेर्नुहोस् ।
Lift up thy steps unto the places utterly unsafe, All the mischief!—the foe in the sanctuary!
4 तपाईंको तोकिएको ठाउँको बिचमा तपाईंका वैरीहरू गर्जन्छन् । तिनीहरूले आफ्ना युद्धका झन्डाहरू खडा गर्छन् ।
Thine adversaries have roared in the midst of thine appointed meeting, They have set their ensigns as tokens!
5 बञ्चरोले घना जङ्गल काटेझैं तिनीहरूले काटेर लगे ।
One used to be known according as he carried up high—into the thicket of trees—the axes;
6 तिनीहरूले बट्टाहरूलाई फुटाएका छन् र टुक्र-टुक्रा पारेका छन् । तिनीहरूले बन्चरो र घनहरूले फुटाए ।
But, now, the doors thereof all together, with axes and hammers, they batter down.
7 तपाईंको पवित्रस्थान तिनीहरूले आगोले जलाए । तपाईं वास गर्नुहुने ठाउँलाई तिनीहरूले भूइँमा ढालेर अपवित्र पारे ।
They have cast, into the fire, thy sanctuary, To the ground, have they profaned the habitation of thy Name.
8 तिनीहरूले आफ्ना हृदयहरूमा भने, “तिनीहरू सबैलाई हामी नाश गर्नेछौं ।” देशमा भएका तपाईंको आराधना हुने ठाउँहरू सबै तिनीहरूले जलाए ।
They have said in their heart, Let us suppress them altogether, They have burned up all the meeting-places of GOD in the land.
9 हामी अब कुनै चिन्हहरू देख्दैनौं । अब कोही अगमवक्ता छैनन् र यो कहिलेसम्म रहन्छ भनी हाम्रा बिचमा हुने कसैले पनि जान्दैन ।
Our own signs, have we not seen, —There is no longer a prophet, —Neither is there with us, one who knoweth—How long!
10 हे परमेश्वर, शत्रुहरूले कहिलेसम्म हामीलाई अपमान गर्छन्? के शत्रुहरूले सदासर्वदा तपाईंको निन्दा गर्नेछन्?
How long, O God, shall the adversary, reproach? Shall the enemy revile thy Name perpetually?
11 आफ्नो बाहुली, तपाईंको दाहिने हात तपाईंले किन रोक्नुहुन्छ? आफ्नो दाहिने हात आफ्नो खल्तीबाट झिक्नुहोस् र तिनीहरूलाई नाश पार्नुहोस् ।
Wherefore shouldst thou withdraw thy hand—thy right hand? [Bring it] out of the midst of thy bosom! (Selah)
12 तापनि पृथ्वीमा उद्धार ल्याउनुभएर परमेश्वर प्राचीन समयदेखि नै मेरो राजा हुनुभएको छ ।
But, God, hath been my king from aforetime, Working Deliverances in the midst of the earth.
13 तपाईंले समुद्रलाई आफ्नो शक्तिले विभाजन गर्नुभयो । तपाईंले समुद्री भयानक जन्तुहरूका शिरहरू तोड्नुभयो ।
Thou, didst cleave asunder, in thy might, the sea, Thou didst break in pieces the heads of the Crocodiles, [till they floated] on the waters;
14 तपाईंले लिव्यातन्को शिर कुच्याउनुभयो । तपाईंले त्यसलाई उजास्थानमा बस्नेहरूलाई खुवाउनुभयो ।
Thou, didst crush the heads of the Sea-Monster, Thou didst give him to be food, for the people of the deserts;
15 तपाईंले मूलहरू र खोलाहरूका मुहान खोल्नुभयो । तपाईंले बगिरहेका नदीहरूलाई सुकाउनुभयो ।
Thou, didst cleave open fountain and torrent, Thou, didst dry up rivers of steady flow:
16 दिन तपाईंको हो र रात पनि तपाईंकै हो । तपाईंले सूर्य र चनद्रमालाई आफ्नो ठाउँमा राख्नुभयो ।
Thine, is the day, Yea, thine, the night, Thou, didst establish moon and sun;
17 तपाईंले पृथ्वीको सबै सिमाना तोक्नुभएको छ । तपाईंले हिउँद र ग्रीष्म बनाउनुभएको छ ।
Thou, didst set up all the bounds of the earth, As for summer and winter, thou, didst form them!
18 हे परमप्रभु, शत्रुहरूले तपाईंलाई कसरी अपमान गरे सो सम्झनुहोस् । अनि मूर्ख मानिसहरूले तपाईंको नाउँको निन्दा गरेका छन् ।
Remember this, An enemy, hath reproached Yahweh, Yea, an impious people, have reviled thy Name.
19 तपाईंको ढुकुरको जीवन जङ्गली पशुलाई नदिनुहोस् । थिचोमिचोमा परेका तपाईंका मानिसहरूका जीवन सधैं नबिर्सनुहोस् ।
Do not deliver up, to a wild beast, the life of thy turtle-dove, The living host of thine oppressed ones, do not forget perpetually.
20 आफ्नो करार सम्झनुहोस्, किनकि देशका अन्धकार क्षेत्रहरू हिंसाले भरिएको ठाउँहरू हुन् ।
Have respect to thy covenant, For the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of violence.
21 थिचोमिचोमा परेकाहरू लाजमा परेर फर्किने नतुल्याउनुहोस् । गरीब र थिचोमिचोमा परेकाहरूले तपाईंको नाउँको स्तुति गरून् ।
May the crushed one not again be confounded, As for the oppressed and the needy, let them praise thy Name.
22 हे परमेश्वर, उठ्नुहोस् । तपाईंको आफ्नो इज्जतको रक्षा गर्नुहोस् । मूर्खहरूले दिनभरि कसरी तपाईंको अपमान गर्छन् सम्झनुहोस् ।
Arise! O God, plead thine own cause, Remember the reproach of thee, from the impious one, all the day:
23 तपाईंका वैरीहरूका आवाजहरू वा तपाईंलाई निरन्तर अनादर गर्नेहरूका कोलाहल नबिर्सनुहोस् ।
Do not forget the voice of thine adversaries, The noise of thine assailants, ascending continually.
