भजनसंग्रह 73
1 निश्चय नै परमेश्वर इस्राएलको निम्ति, शुद्ध हृदय हुनेहरूका निम्ति भला हुनुहुन्छ ।
A Psalm of Asaph. Only — good to Israel [is] God, to the clean of heart. And I — as a little thing, My feet have been turned aside,
2 तर मेरो बारेमा, मेरा खुट्टाहरू झण्डै चिप्ले । मेरा खुट्टाहरू मेरो मुनिबाट झण्डै चिप्ले ।
As nothing, have my steps slipped, For I have been envious of the boastful,
3 किनभने जब मैले दुष्टहरूका फलिफाप देखें, तब मैले अहङ्कारीहरूको डाह गरें ।
The peace of the wicked I see, That there are no bands at their death,
4 किनकि मृत्युसम्म नै तिनीहरूलाई कुनै पीडा नै हुँछैन, तर तिनीहरू बलिया र स्वस्थ्य हुन्छन् ।
And their might [is] firm.
5 अरू मानिसहरूका बोझहरूबाट तिनीहरू मुक्त छन् । अरू मानिसहरूलाई झैं तिनीहरूलाई कष्ट हुँदैन ।
In the misery of mortals they are not, And with common men they are not plagued.
6 तिनीहरूका घाँटीमा सिक्रीझैं तिनीहरू घमण्डले सजिछन् । वस्त्रले ढाकेझैं तिनीहरूलाई हिंसाले ढाक्नेछ ।
Therefore hath pride encircled them, Violence covereth them as a dress.
7 यस्ता अन्धोपनबाट नै पाप आउँछ । तिनीहरूका हृदयहरूबाट दुष्ट विचारहरू जान्छन् ।
Their eye hath come out from fat. The imaginations of the heart transgressed;
8 तिनीहरू दुष्टतापूर्वक गिल्ला गर्छन् र बोल्छन् । आफ्नो अहङ्कारमा तिनीहरूले अत्यचारको धम्की दिन्छन् ।
They do corruptly, And they speak in the wickedness of oppression, From on high they speak.
9 आफ्नो मुखले तिनीहरू स्वर्गको विरुद्धमा बोल्छन् र तिनीहरूका जिब्रोहरूले पृथ्वीको अधिकार गर्छन् ।
They have set in the heavens their mouth, And their tongue walketh in the earth.
10 यसकारण तिनका मानिसहरू तिनीहरूतिर फर्कन्छन् र प्रशस्त पानी बगाइन्छ ।
Therefore do His people return hither, And waters of fulness are wrung out to them.
11 तिनीहरू भन्छन्, “परमेश्वरले कसरी जान्नुहुन्छ? के सर्वोच्चसँग ज्ञान छ र?”
And they have said, 'How hath God known? And is there knowledge in the Most High?'
12 हेर्नुहोस्ः यी मानिसहरू दुष्टहरू हुन् । तिनीहरू निश्चिन्त छन् र झन्-झन् धनी हुँदैछन् ।
Lo, these [are] the wicked and easy ones of the age, They have increased strength.
13 निश्चय नै मैले व्यार्थमा मेरो हृदयलाई सुरक्षित राखेको छु र निर्दोषतामा मेरा हातहरू धोएको छु ।
Only — a vain thing! I have purified my heart, And I wash in innocency my hands,
14 किनकि म दिनभरि कष्टमा परेको छु र हरेक बिहान ताड्ना पाएको छु ।
And I am plagued all the day, And my reproof [is] every morning.
15 “म यी कुराहरू भन्नेछु,” भनी मैले भनेको भए, तपाईंका छोराछोरीका यो पुस्तालाई मैले धोका दिनेथिएँ ।
If I have said, 'I recount thus,' Lo, a generation of Thy sons I have deceived.
16 मैले यी कुराहरू बुझ्ने कोसिस गरे तापनि, मेरो निम्ति यो धेरै कठिन थियो ।
And I think to know this, Perverseness it [is] in mine eyes,
17 तब म परमेश्वरको पवित्रस्थानभित्र गएँ र तिनीहरूका अन्तिम अवस्थालाई बुझें ।
Till I come in to the sanctuaries of God, I attend to their latter end.
18 निश्चय नै तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई चिप्लो ठाउँहरूमा राख्नुहुन्छ । तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई सर्वनाश लानुहुन्छ ।
Only, in slippery places Thou dost set them, Thou hast caused them to fall to desolations.
19 तिनीहरू कसरी क्षणभरमा नै उजाडस्थान बने! तिनीहरूको अन्त भयो र भयानक त्रासहरूले समाप्त पारिए ।
How have they become a desolation as in a moment, They have been ended — consumed from terrors.
20 कोही ब्युँझँदा, ती सपनामा भएजस्तो हुन्छन् । हे परमप्रभु, जब तपाई खडा हुनुहुन्छ, तब तपाईंले ती सपनाहरूका बारेमा केही विचार गर्नुहुन्न ।
As a dream from awakening, O Lord, In awaking, their image Thou despisest.
21 किनकि मेरो हृदय शोकमा परेको थियो र म गहिरो चोटमा परेको थिएँ ।
For my heart doth show itself violent, And my reins prick themselves,
22 म मूर्ख थिएँ र अन्तरदृष्टिको कमी थियो । तपाईंको सामु म मूर्ख पशुजस्तै थिएँ ।
And I am brutish, and do not know. A beast I have been with Thee.
23 तापनि म सधैं तपाईंसँगै छु । तपाईंले मेरो दाहिने हात समात्नुहुन्छ ।
And I [am] continually with Thee, Thou hast laid hold on my right hand.
24 तपाईंले मलाई आफ्नो सल्लाहले मार्गदर्शन गर्नुहुनेछ र पछि मलाई महिमामा ग्रहण गर्नुहुनेछ ।
With Thy counsel Thou dost lead me, And after honour dost receive me.
25 स्वर्गमा तपाईंबाहेक मेरो को छ र? पृथ्वीमा मैले इच्छा गर्ने तपाईंबाहेक अरू कोही छैन ।
Whom have I in the heavens? And with Thee none I have desired in earth.
26 मेरो शरीर र मेरो मुटु कमजोर हुन्छन्, तर परमेश्वर नै सदासर्वदा मेरो हृदयको बल हुनुहुन्छ ।
Consumed hath been my flesh and my heart, The rock of my heart and my portion [is] God to the age.
27 तपाईंदेखि टाढा हुनेहरू नष्ट हुनेछन् । तपाईंप्रति विश्वासयोग्य नहुनेहरूलाई तपाईंले नष्ट पार्नुहुनेछ ।
For, lo, those far from Thee do perish, Thou hast cut off every one, Who is going a whoring from Thee.
28 तर मेरो बारेमा, मैले गर्नुपर्ने कुराचाहिं परमेश्वरको नजिक जाने हो । परमप्रभु परमेश्वरलाई मैले आफ्नो शरणस्थान बनाएको छु । तपाईंका सबै कामहरू म घोषणा गर्नेछु ।
And I — nearness of God to me [is] good, I have placed in the Lord Jehovah my refuge, To recount all Thy works!
