भजनसंग्रह 7
1 हे परमप्रभु मेरा परमेश्वर, म तपाईंमा शरण लिन्छु । मलाई खेद्ने सबैबाट मलाई बचाउनुहोस् र मलाई छुटाउनुहोस् ।
Yahweh my God, I come to you to protect me. Rescue me, save me from all those who are pursuing me [in order to harm me].
2 नत्र तिनीहरूले मलाई सिंहले झैं टुक्रा-टुक्रा पार्नेछन्, मलाई सुरक्षा दिने कोही नहुँदा मलाई च्यातेर टुक्रा गर्नेछन् ।
If you do not do that, they will tear me into pieces like a lion does [when it attacks the animals it wants to kill], and no one will save me [from them].
3 हे परमप्रभु मेरो परमेश्वर, मैले नै यो गरेको हुँ, र मेरा हातहरूमा दोष छन् भने,
Yahweh my God, if I have done anything that is wrong,
4 मसँग मिलापमा हुनेलाई मैले खराबीको गरेको छु भने, वा बिनाकारण मैले आफ्ना शत्रुलाई हानि गरेको छु भने, मेरा शब्दहरू सुन्नुहोस् ।
if I have done evil to some friend who did good things to me, or if, for no good reason, I have spared (OR, acted violently toward) those who were my enemies,
5 तब मेरो शत्रुले मेरो जीवनलाई खेदोस् र मलाई नाश पारोस् । त्यसले मेरो जीवनलाई भूइँमा कुल्चोस् र मेरो आदर भूइँमा मिलाओस् । सेला
allow my enemies to pursue me and capture me. Allow them to trample me into the ground and leave me [SYN] [lying dead] in the dirt.
6 हे परमप्रभु, आफ्नो रिसमा उठ्नुहोस् । मेरा शत्रुहरूका विरुद्ध खडा हुनुहोस् । मेरो खातिर जाग्नुहोस् र तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई दिनुभएका धार्मिक आदेशहरू पुरा गर्नुहोस्
But Yahweh, because you are [very] angry [with those who pursue me], arise and attack/defeat my enemies who are furiously/angrily [attacking me] Do to them what is just!
7 देशहरू तपाईंको वरिपरि भेला हुन्छन् । तिनीहरूमाथि फेरि पनि आफ्नो उचित स्थान लिनुहोस् ।
Gather around you the people of [all] nations, and rule them from where you are in heaven [MTY].
8 हे परमप्रभु, जातिहरूको न्याय गर्नुहोस् । हे परमप्रभु, मेरो सुरक्षा गर्नुहोस्, किनभने हे सर्वोच्च, म धर्मी र निर्दोष छु ।
Yahweh, judge the people of [all] nations! And, Yahweh, show that I have done nothing that is wrong.
9 दुष्टका खराब कामहरूको अन्त होस्, तर हे धर्मी परमेश्वर, तपाईं जसले हृदय र मन जाँच्नुहुन्छ, धर्मी मानिसहरूलाई स्थापित गर्नुहोस् ।
God, you know what every person is thinking, and because you are righteous, you [always] do what is just/right. [So now] stop evil people from doing wicked [deeds], and defend [all of us who are] righteous!
10 मेरो ढाल परमेश्वरबाट आउँछ, जसले सोझो हृदय हुनेलाई बचाउनुहुन्छ ।
God, you protect me like a shield [protects soldiers] [MET]; you protect all those who are righteous in their inner being.
11 परमेश्वर धर्मी न्यायकर्ता हुनुहुन्छ, परमेश्वर जो हरेक दिन क्रोधित हुनुहुन्छ ।
You judge [everyone] correctly, and every day you punish [wicked people].
12 मानिसले पश्चाताप गर्दैन भने, परमेश्वरले युद्धको निम्ति आफ्नो तरवार धारिलो पार्नुहुन्छ, र आफ्नो धनु तयार पार्नुहुन्छ ।
Whenever your enemies do not (repent/change their behavior), [it is as though] [MET] you sharpen your sword and put a string on your bow [to get ready to kill them].
13 त्यसको विरुद्धमा हतियार प्रयोग गर्ने तयारी उहाँले गर्नुहुन्छ । उहाँले आफ्ना वाणहरूलाई अग्नीवाण बनाउनुहुन्छ ।
You are preparing your weapons that kill those whom they strike; the arrows that you will shoot have flaming tips.
14 त्यस्तो व्यक्तिको बारेमा विचार गर जसका कल्पना दुष्टतापूर्ण छन्, जो विनाशपूर्ण योजनाहरू लिन्छ, जसले हानिकारक झुटहरू जन्माउँछ ।
Wicked people tell lies, and they think that they surely will be able to do [MET] the evil things that they are planning to do [just as surely as] a pregnant woman [knows that she is going to give birth to a child] [MET].
15 त्यसले खाडल खन्छ र त्यसलाई गहिरो बनाउँछ अनि त्यसले बनाएको खाल्टोमा खस्छ ।
But when they dig a deep pit [to trap others], they themselves will fall into it.
16 त्यसका आफ्नै विनाशपूर्ण योजनाहरू त्यसका आफ्नै शिरमाथि पर्छन्, किनभने त्यसको हिंसा त्यसको आफ्नै शिरमाथि आउँछ ।
They themselves will experience the trouble that they want to cause others to have; they will hurt themselves by the violent things that they want to do to others.
17 परमप्रभुको न्यायको निम्ति म उहाँलाई धन्यवाद दिनेछु । सर्वोच्च परमप्रभुको निम्ति म प्रशंसाको गीत गाउनेछु ।
I praise Yahweh because he [always acts] righteously/justly; I sing to praise Yahweh, the one who is much greater than any other god.
