< भजनसंग्रह 60 >

1 हे परमेश्‍वर, तपाईंले हामीलाई फाल्‍नुभएको छ । तपाईंले हाम्रा सुरक्षाहरू तोड्नुभएको छ । तपाईं रिसाउनुभएको छ । हामीलाई फेरि पुनर्स्थापना गर्नुहोस् ।
For the leader. On shushan eduth. A michtam of David (for teaching), when he fought with Aram-naharaim and Aram-zobah, and Joab returned and defeated twelve thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt. O God, you have spurned and broken us, routing us in your wrath – restore us!
2 तपाईंले देशलाई कम्पित पार्नुभएको छ । तपाईंले यसलाई टुक्रा पार्नुभएको छ । यसका दरारहरू निको पार्नुहोस्, किनकि यो कामिरहेको छ ।
You have shaken the land and cleft it; heal its tottering breaches.
3 तपाईंले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई कठिन कुराहरू देख्‍न लगाउनुभएको छ । तपाईंले हामीलाई धरमराउने दाखमद्य पिउन लगाउनुभएको छ ।
You have made your people drink hardship, and given us wine of reeling.
4 धनुधारीहरूका विरुद्धमा प्रदर्शन गर्नलाई तपाईंलाई आदर गर्नेहरूको निम्ति तपाईंले झन्डा खडा गर्नुभएको छ । सेला
You have given those who fear you a banner, a rallying-place from the bow, (Selah)
5 ताकि तपाईंले प्रेम गर्नुभएकाहरू बाँचून्, हामीलाई तपाईंको दाहिने बाहुलिले बचाउनुहोस् र मलाई जवाफ दिनुहोस् ।
for the rescue of your beloved. Save by your right hand and answer us.
6 परमेश्‍वरले आफ्नो पवित्रतामा बोल्नुभएको छ, “म आनन्‍दित हुनेछु । म शकेमलाई बाँड्नेछु र सुक्‍कोतको बेसीलाई भाग लगाउनेछु ।
God did solemnly swear: ‘As victor will I divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
7 गिलाद मेरो हो, मनश्‍शे मेरो हो । एफ्राइम मेरो टोप हो । यहूदा मेरो राजदण्ड हो ।
Mine is Gilead, mine is Manasseh, Ephraim is the defence of my head, Judah my sceptre of rule,
8 मोआब मेरो बाटा हो । एदोममा म आफ्‍नो जुत्ता फुकाल्छु । पलिश्तीको कारणले म विजयमा कराउनेछु ।”
Moab the pot that I wash in, Edom – I cast my shoe over it, I shout o’er Philistia in triumph.’
9 कसले मलाई बलियो सहरमा ल्याउनेछ? कसले मलाई एदोममा लानेछ?
O to be brought to the fortified city! O to be led into Edom!
10 तर हे परमेश्‍वर, के तपाईंले हामीलाई इन्कार गर्नुभएको छैन र? तपाईं हाम्रा फौजसँग युद्धमा जानुहुन्‍न ।
Have you not spurned us, O God? You do not march forth with our armies.
11 शत्रुका विरुद्धमा हामीलाई सहायता दिनुहोस्, किनकि मानिसको सहायता व्यार्थको हुन्छ ।
Grant us help from the foe, for human help is worthless.
12 परमेश्‍वरको सहायताले हामी विजयी हुनेछौं । उहाँले हाम्रा शत्रुहरूलाई कुल्चनुहुनेछ ।
With God we shall yet do bravely: he himself will tread down our foes.
