भजनसंग्रह 54

1 हे परमेश्‍वर, मलाई तपाईंको नाउँद्वारा बचाउनुहोस् र तपाईंको शक्तिले न्याय गर्नुहोस् ।

To the Chief Musician: with Stringed Instruments. A Psalm of Instruction, of David. When the Ziphites came and said unto Saul, Is not, David, hiding himself, with us? O God! by thine own Name, save me, And, by thine own strength, wilt thou vindicate me?

2 हे परमेश्‍वर, मेरो प्रार्थना सुन्‍नुहोस् । मेरो मुखका शब्दहरूमा कान थाप्‍नुहोस् ।

O God! Hear my prayer, Give ear to the sayings of my mouth;

3 किनकि विदेशीहरू मेरो विरुद्धमा उठेका छन् र निर्दयी मानिसहरूले मेरो ज्यान लिन खोजेका छन् । तिनीहरूले आफ्नो सामु परमेश्‍वरलाई राखेका छैनन् । सेला

For, aliens, have risen up against me, And, men of violence, have sought my life, They have not set God before them. (Selah)

4 हेर, परमेश्‍वर मेरो सहायक हुनुहुन्छ । मलाई उचाल्‍नुहुने परमप्रभु नै हुनुहुन्छ ।

Lo! God, is bringing me help, My Lord, is with the upholders of my life;

5 उहाँले मेरा शत्रुहरूलाई खराबीको प्रतिफल दिनुहुनेछ । आफ्‍नो विश्‍वस्‍ततामा तिनीहरूको नाश गर्नुहोस्!

Let him turn back the mischief upon mine adversaries, In thy faithfulness, destroy them!

6 म तपाईंलाई स्वेच्छा बलि चढाउनेछु । हे परमप्रभु, म तपाईंको नाउँला‌ई धन्यवाद दिनेछु, किनकि यो असल छ ।

With a freewill-offering, will I sacrifice unto thee, I will praise thy Name, O Yahweh, for it is good;

7 किनकि उहाँले मलाई हरेक कष्‍टबाट बचानुभएको छ । मेरो आँखाले मेरा शत्रहरूमाथि विजयको दृष्‍टिले हरेको छ ।

For, out of all distress, hath he rescued me, —And, upon my foes, hath, mine own eye, looked.
