भजनसंग्रह 52

1 हे वीर मानिस, दुःख दिनमा तिमी किन घमण्ड गर्छौ? परमेश्‍वरको करारको विश्‍वस्‍तता हरेक दिन आउँछ ।

Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of El endureth continually.

2 छलपूर्ण रूपले काम गरेर तिम्रो जिब्रोले धारिलो छुराले जस्तै विनाशको योजना बनाउँछ ।

Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp rasor, working deceitfully.

3 तिमीले असलभन्दा खराब र धार्मिकताभन्दा झुट बोल्न रुचाउँछौ । सेला

Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. (Selah)

4 तँ चली जिब्रो, तँ अरूलाई निल्ने सबै कुराहरू रुचाउँछस् ।

Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.

5 परमेश्‍वरले तँलाई त्यसरी नै सदासर्वदाको निम्‍ति नाश पार्नुहुनेछ । उहाँले तँलाई माथि उठाउनुहुनेछ, तेरो पालबाट तँलाई निकाल्नुहुनेछ र जीवितहरूको देशबाट तँलाई उखेल्नुहुनेछ । सेला

El shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. (Selah)

6 धर्मीहरूले यो देख्‍नेछन् र भय मान्‍नेछन् । तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई हाँसो उडाउनेछन् र यसो भन्‍नेछन्,

The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:

7 “हेर, यो मानिसले परमेश्‍वरलाई आफ्नो शरणस्थान बनाएन, तर त्यसले आफ्नो समपत्तिको प्रशस्‍ततामा भरोसा गर्‍यो । र त्यसले अरूको विनाश गर्दा त्यो बलियो थियो ।”

Lo, this is the man that made not Elohim his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.

8 तर मेरो बारेमा, परमेश्‍वरको मन्‍दिरमा म हरियो जैतूनको रूखजस्तो छु । म परमेश्‍वरको करारको विश्‍वस्‍ततामा सदासर्वदा भरोसा गर्नेछु ।

But I am like a green olive tree in the house of Elohim: I trust in the mercy of Elohim for ever and ever.

9 तपाईंले जे गर्नुभएको छ त्‍यसको निम्ति म तपाईंलाई सदासर्वदा धन्यवाद चढाउनेछु । तपाईंका भक्‍तजनहरूका उपस्थितिमा म तपाईंको नाउँको आसा गर्नेछु, किनकि यो असल हो ।

I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.
