भजनसंग्रह 51
1 हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंको करारको विश्वस्तताको कारणले ममाथि दया गर्नुहोस् । तपाईंको असङ्ख्य दयापूर्ण कामहरूको खातिर मेरा अपराधहरू मेटिदिनुहोस् ।
For the end, a Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came to him, when he had gone to Bersabee. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy great mercy; and according to the multitude of thy compassions blot out my transgression.
2 मलाई मेरो अधर्मबाट पूर्ण रूपले धुनुहोस् र मेरो पापबाट मलाई शुद्ध पार्नुहोस् ।
Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3 किनकि म आफ्ना अपराधहरू जान्दछु र मेरो पाप सधैं मेरै सामु छ ।
For I am conscious of mine iniquity; and my sin is continually before me.
4 तपाईंको विरुद्धमा, केवल तपाईंको विरुद्धमा मैले पाप गरेको छु र तपाईंको दृष्टिमा जे खराब छ त्यही गरेको छु । तपाईं बोल्नुहुँदा तपाईं ठिक हुनुहुन्छ । तपाईंले न्याय गर्नुहुँदा तपाईं ठिक हुनुहुन्छ ।
Against thee only have I sinned, and done evil before thee: that thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
5 हेर्नुहोस्, म पापमा नै जन्में । आमाले गर्भमा गर्भधारण गर्ने बित्तिकै, म पापमा नै थिएँ ।
For, behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and in sins did my mother conceive me.
6 हेर्नुहोस्, तपाईंले मेरो अन्तस्करणमा विश्वासयोग्ता खोज्नुहुन्छ । अनि भित्रको गोप्य ठाउँमा तपाईंले मलाई बुद्धिका कुरा सिकाउनुहुन्छ ।
For, behold, thou lovest truth: thou hast manifested to me the secret and hidden things of thy wisdom.
7 मलाई हिसपले शुद्ध पार्नुहोस् र म शुद्ध हुनेछु । मलाई धुनुहोस् र म हिउँभन्दा सेतो हुनेछु ।
Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be purified: thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow.
8 मलाई तपाईंको आनन्द र खुसी सुन्न दिनुहोस्, ताकि तपाईंले तोड्नुभएका हाडहरू आनन्दित होऊन् ।
Thou shalt cause me to hear gladness and joy: the afflicted bones shall rejoice.
9 मेरा पापहरूबाट तपाईंको मुहार लुकाउनुहोस् र मेरा सबै अधर्महरू मेटाउनुहोस् ।
Turn away thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 हे परमेश्वर, ममा शुद्ध हृदय सृजनुहोस् । र मभित्र ठिक आत्मालाई नयाँ तुल्याउनुहोस् ।
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit in my inward parts.
11 मलाई तपाईंको उपस्थितिबाट टाढा नपठाउनुहोस्, र मबाट तपाईंको पवित्र आत्मा नलानुहोस् ।
Cast me not away from thy presence; and remove not thy holy Spirit from me.
12 तपाईंको मुक्तिको आनन्दलाई ममा पुनर्जीवित पार्नुहोस्, र इच्छुक आत्माले मलाई सम्हाल्नुहोस् ।
Restore to me the joy of thy salvation: establish me with thy directing Spirit.
13 तब अपराध गर्नेहरूलाई म तपाईंका मार्गहरू सिकाउनेछु र पापीहरू तपाईंतिर फर्कनेछन् ।
[Then] will I teach transgressors thy ways; and ungodly men shall turn to thee.
14 हे मेरा उद्धारका परमेश्वर, रक्तपातको निम्ति मलाई क्षमा गर्नुहोस्, र तपाईंको धार्मिकताको आनन्दको निम्ति म काराउनेछु ।
Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation: [and] my tongue shall joyfully declare thy righteousness.
15 हे परमप्रभु, मेरा ओठहरू खोल्नुहोस्, र मेरो मुखले तपाईंको प्रशंसा गाउनेछ ।
O Lord, thou shalt open my lips; and my mouth shall declare thy praise.
16 किनकि तपाईं बलिदानमा खुसी हुनुहुन्न, नत्र म बलि चढाउँथें । होमबलिमा तपाईं आनन्दित हुनुहुन्न ।
For if thou desiredst sacrifice, I would have given [it]: thou wilt not take pleasure in whole-burnt-offerings.
17 परमेश्वरका बलिदानहरू तोडिएको आत्मा हो । हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंले तोडिएको र पश्चतापी हृदयलाई घृणा गर्नुहुनेछैन ।
Sacrifice to God is a broken spirit: a broken and humbled heart God will not despise.
18 सियोनलाई तपाईंको सुभेच्छामा भलइ गर्नुहोस्, यरूशलेमको पर्खालहरू पनुःनिर्माण गर्नुहोस् ।
Do good, O Lord, to Sion in thy good pleasure; and let the walls of Jerusalem be built.
19 तब तपाईं धार्मिकताको बलिहरूमा, होमबलिहरू र सम्पूर्ण होमबलिमा प्रशन्न हुनुहुनेछ । तब हाम्रा मानिसहरूले तपाईंको वेदीमा साँढेहरू चढाउनेछन् ।
Then shalt thou be pleased with a sacrifice of righteousness, offering, and whole-burnt-sacrifices: then shall they offer calves upon thine altar.
