भजनसंग्रह 48
1 परमप्रभु महान् हुनुहुन्छ र हाम्रा परमेश्वरको सहर उहाँको पवित्र पर्वतमा ज्यादै धेरै प्रशंसा हुनुपर्छ ।
“A song and psalm by the sons of Korach.” Great is the Lord, and highly praised in the city of our God, [in] his holy mountain.
2 महान् राजाको सहरको उत्तरमा अवस्थित सियोन पर्वत उच्च ठाउँमा सुन्दर, सारा पृथ्वीको आनन्द हो ।
A beautiful district, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, the farthest north, the city of the great King.
3 त्यसका दरबारहरूमा परमेश्वरले आफैलाई शरणस्थानको रूपमा प्रकट गर्नुभएको छ ।
God is become known in her palaces as a defence.
4 हेर्नुहोस्, राजाहरू आफै भेला भए । तिनीहरू सँगसँगै अघि बढे ।
For, lo, the kings were assembled, they are passed away together.
5 जब तिनीहरूले यो देखे, तब तिनीहरू चकित भए । तिनीहरू भयभित भए र तिनीहरू हतार गरेर गए ।
They indeed saw—[and] so they were astonished; they were terrified, they were confounded.
6 कम्पले तिनीहरूलाई समात्यो, प्रसव वेदना परेकी स्त्रीझैं पीडित भए ।
Trembling seized on them there, pain, as on a woman in travail.
7 पूर्वीय बतासले तपाईंले तर्शीशका जहाजहरू तोड्नुहुन्छ ।
With the east wind thou breakest the ships of Tharshish.
8 सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु हाम्रा परमेश्वरको सहरमा हामीले जस्तो सुनेका छौं त्यस्तै हामीले देखेका छौं । परमेश्वरले यसलाई सदासर्वदाको निम्ति स्थापित गर्नुहुनेछ । सेला
As we have heard, so have we seen [it] in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. (Selah)
9 हे परमेश्वर, हामीले तपाईंको मन्दिरको बिचमा तपाईंको करारको विश्वस्तताका बारेमा विचार गरेका छौं ।
We have reflected on thy kindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
10 हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंको नाउँ जस्तो छ पृथ्वीको अन्तिम छेउसम्म तपाईंको प्रशंसा त्यस्तै छ । तपाईंको दाहिने हात धार्मिकताले पूर्ण छ ।
As thy name is, O God, so is thy praise over the ends of the earth: of righteousness is thy right hand full.
11 तपाईंका धार्मिक आदेशहरूका कारणले सियोन पर्वत खुसी होस्, यहूदाका छोरीहरू आनन्दित होऊन् ।
Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.
12 सियोन पर्वत वरिपरि हिंड, त्यसको चारैतिर जाओ । त्यसका धरहराहरू गन्ती गर,
Compass Zion about, and walk round about her; number her towers.
13 त्यसका पर्खालहरू ध्यान लगाएर हेर, र त्यसका दरबारहरू हेर, ताकि तिमीहरूले अर्को पुस्तालाई यसको बारेमा बताउन सक्छौ ।
Direct your mind to her outer wall, mark carefully her palaces: in order that ye may tell it to the latest generation.
14 किनकि यही परमेश्वर सदासर्वदा हाम्रा परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ । मृत्युसम्म नै हामीलाई बाटो देखाउने उहाँ नै हुनुहुन्छ ।
For this One is God, our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
