भजनसंग्रह 48

1 परमप्रभु महान् हुनुहुन्छ र‍ हाम्रा परमेश्‍वरको सहर उहाँको पवित्र पर्वतमा ज्‍यादै धेरै प्रशंसा हुनुपर्छ ।

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

2 महान् राजाको सहरको उत्तरमा अवस्‍थित सियोन पर्वत उच्‍च ठाउँमा सुन्दर, सारा पृथ्वीको आनन्द हो ।

Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

3 त्‍यसका दरबारहरूमा परमेश्‍वरले आफैलाई शरणस्थानको रूपमा प्रकट गर्नुभएको छ ।

God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

4 हेर्नुहोस्, राजाहरू आफै भेला भए । तिनीहरू सँगसँगै अघि बढे ।

For, see, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.

5 जब तिनीहरूले यो देखे, तब तिनीहरू चकित भए । तिनीहरू भयभित भए र तिनीहरू हतार गरेर गए ।

They saw it, and so they marveled; they were troubled, and hurried away.

6 कम्‍पले तिनीहरूलाई समात्‍यो, प्रसव वेदना परेकी स्‍त्रीझैं पीडित भए ।

Fear took hold on them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

7 पूर्वीय बतासले तपाईंले तर्शीशका जहाजहरू तोड्नुहुन्छ ।

You break the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

8 सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु हाम्रा परमेश्‍वरको सहरमा हामीले जस्तो सुनेका छौं त्यस्तै हामीले देखेका छौं । परमेश्‍वरले यसलाई सदासर्वदाको निम्ति स्थापित गर्नुहुनेछ । सेला

As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. (Selah)

9 हे परमेश्‍वर, हामीले तपाईंको मन्दिरको बिचमा तपाईंको करारको विश्‍वस्‍तताका बारेमा विचार गरेका छौं ।

We have thought of your loving kindness, O God, in the middle of your temple.

10 हे परमेश्‍वर, तपाईंको नाउँ जस्तो छ पृथ्वीको अन्तिम छेउसम्म तपाईंको प्रशंसा त्यस्तै छ । तपाईंको दाहिने हात धार्मिकताले पूर्ण छ ।

According to your name, O God, so is your praise to the ends of the earth: your right hand is full of righteousness.

11 तपाईंका धार्मिक आदेशहरूका कारणले सियोन पर्वत खुसी होस्, यहूदाका छोरीहरू आनन्‍दित होऊन् ।

Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of your judgments.

12 सियोन पर्वत वरिपरि हिंड, त्यसको चारैतिर जाओ । त्यसका धरहराहरू गन्‍ती गर,

Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.

13 त्यसका पर्खालहरू ध्‍यान लगाएर हेर, र त्यसका दरबारहरू हेर, ताकि तिमीहरूले अर्को पुस्तालाई यसको बारेमा बताउन सक्‍छौ ।

Mark you well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that you may tell it to the generation following.

14 किनकि यही परमेश्‍वर सदासर्वदा हाम्रा परमेश्‍वर हुनुहुन्छ । मृत्युसम्म नै हामीलाई बाटो देखाउने उहाँ नै हुनुहुन्छ ।

For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even to death.
