भजनसंग्रह 40
1 धैर्य भएर मैले परमप्रभुमा आसा गरें । उहाँले मलाई हेर्नुभयो र मेरो पुकारा सुन्नुभयो ।
To the Chief Musician. David’s. A Melody. I waited patiently for Yahweh, —And he inclined, unto me, and heard my cry for help;
2 उहाँले मलाई डरलाग्दो खाडलबाट, दलदले हिलोबाट निकाल्नुभयो र उहाँले मेरा खुट्टाहरूलाई चट्टानमाथि बसाल्नुभयो र मेरा पाइलाहरूलाई सुरक्षित बनाउनुभयो ।
So he brought me up, Out of the destroying pit, Out of the swampy mire, —And set, upon a cliff, my feet, Making firm my steps:
3 उहाँले मेरो मुखमा एउटा नयाँ गीत हालिदिनुभयो । परमेश्वरको प्रशंसा होस् । धेरै जनाले यो देख्नेछन्, र उहाँको आदर गर्नेछन् र परमप्रभुमा भरोसा गर्नेछन् ।
Then put he, into my mouth, a new song, Praise to our God, —Many shall see and revere, And shall trust in Yahweh.
4 परमप्रभुलाई आफ्नो भरोसा बनाउने र घमण्डीहरू वा उहाँबाट झुटतिर लाग्नेहरूलाई आदर नगर्ने मानिस धन्यको हो ।
How happy the man, Who hath made Yahweh his confidence, who hath not turned unto the haughty, nor gone aside unto falsehood.
5 हे परमप्रभु मेरो परमेश्वर, तपाईंले गर्नुभएका अचम्मका कामहरू धेरै छन् र हाम्रो बारेमा भएका तपाईंका विचारहरू गन्न सकिंदैनन् । मैले तिनीहरूका बारेमा घोषणा गरें र बताएँ भने, तिनीहरू गन्न सक्नेभन्दा धेरै हुन्छन् ।
Mighty things, hast thou done—Thou, Yahweh my God, Thy wonderful doings and thy purposes towards us, There is no setting them in order unto thee—I would tell, and would speak!—They are too great to rehearse.
6 बलिदान वा भेटिमा तपाईं खुसी हुनुहुन्न, तर तपाईंले मेरा कानहरू खोल्नुभएको छ । तपाईंले होमबलि वा पापबलिको इच्छा गर्नुभएको छैन ।
Sacrifice and meal-offering, thou didst not delight in, Ears, didst thou pierce for me, —Ascending-sacrifice and sin-bearer, thou didst not ask:
7 तब मैले भनें, “हेर्नुहोस्, म आएको छु । लेखेको चर्मपत्रमा मेरो बारेमा यस्तो लेखिएको छ ।
Then, said I—Lo! I am come, In the written scroll, is it prescribed for me;
8 हे मेरो परमेश्वर, तपाईंको इच्छा पुरा गर्न म खुसी हुन्छु । तपाईंको व्यवस्था मेरो हृदयमा छन् ।
To do thy good-pleasure, O my God, is my delight, And, thy law, is in the midst of mine inward parts:
9 ठुलो सभामा तपाईंको धार्मिकताको सुसमाचार मैले घोषणा गरेको छु । हे परमप्रभु, यसो गर्नबाट मेरा ओठहरू रोकिएका छैनन् भनी तपाईं जान्नुहुन्छ ।
I have told the good-tidings of righteousness in a great convocation, Lo! my lips, do I not restrain, O Yahweh, thou, knowest:
10 आफ्नो हृदयमा तपाईंको धार्मिकता मैले लुकाएको छैन । तपाईंको विश्वस्तता र तपाईंको उद्धारलाई मैले घोषणा गरेको छु । ठुलो सभाबाट तपाईंको करारको विश्वस्तता वा तपाईंको भरोसालाई मैले लुकाएको छैन ।
Thy righteousness, have I not hid in the midst of my heart, Thy faithfulness and thy salvation, have I spoken, I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truthfulness from the great convocation.
11 हे परमप्रभु, मबाट तपाईंका दयाका कामहरू नहटाउनुहोस् । तपाईंको करारको विश्वस्तता वा तपाईंको भरोसाले मलाई सदासर्वदा सुरक्षित राखोस् ।
Thou, O Yahweh, wilt not restrain thy compassions from me, Thy lovingkindness and thy truthfulness, shall continually watch over me.
12 अनगिन्ती कष्टहरूले मलाई घेर्छन् । मेरा अधर्महरूले मलाई गाँजेका छन्, ताकि म फेरि कुनै कुरा हेर्न सक्षम छैनँ । तिनीहरू मेरा शिरका कपालभन्दा धेरै छन् र मेरो हृदय मलाई निरास पारेको छ ।
For there have closed in upon me, misfortunes beyond number, Mine iniquities have overtaken me, and I cannot see, They have become more than the hairs of my head, And, my courage, hath forsaken me!
13 हे परमप्रभु, मलाई बचाउन खुसी हुनुहोस् । हे परमप्रभु, मलाई मदत गर्न चाँडो गर्नुहोस् ।
Be pleased, O Yahweh, to rescue me, O Yahweh! to help me, make haste!
14 मेरो ज्यान लिन मलाई खेद्नेहरू लज्जित होऊन् र पूर्ण रूपमा निराश होऊन् । मलाई चोट पुर्याउन खुसी हुनेहरू, तिनीहरू फर्केर जाऊन् र अनादरमा परून् ।
Let them turn pale and then at once blush, who are seeking my life to snatch it away, —Let them draw back, and be confounded, who are taking pleasure in my calamity;
15 मलाई, “आहा, आहा!” भन्नेहरू, तिनीहरू आफ्नो लाजको कारणले चकित होऊन् ।
Let them be astonished on account of their own shame, who are saying of me, Aha! Aha!
16 तर तपाईंको खोजी गर्नेहरू सबै जना आनन्दित होऊन् र खुसी होऊन् । तपाईंको उद्धारलाई प्रेम गर्ने हरेकले निरन्तर यसो भनोस्, “परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा होस् ।”
Let all them be glad and rejoice in thee, who are seekers of thee. Let them say continually—Yahweh be magnified! who are lovers of thy salvation.
17 म गरीब र दरिद्र छु । तापनि परमप्रभुले मेरो बारेमा सोच्नुहुन्छ । तपाईं मेरो सहायता हुनुहुन्छ र तपाईं मलाई बचाउन आउनुहुन्छ । हे परमेश्वर, ढिला नगर्नुहोस् ।
But, I, being oppressed and needy, May My Lord devise for me, —My help and my deliverer, thou art! O my God, do not tarry!
