भजनसंग्रह 38
1 हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंको रिसमा मलाई नहप्काउनुहोस् । तपाईंको क्रोधमा मलाई दण्ड नदिनुहोस् ।
Yahweh, when you are angry [with me], do not rebuke/scold me and punish me!
2 किनकि तपाईंका काँडहरूले मलाई छेड्छन् र तपाईंका हातले मलाई भुइँमा पछार्छ ।
[Now it is as though] you have shot your arrows at me and wounded me; you have struck me and knocked me down.
3 तपाईंको रिसको कारणले मेरो सम्पूर्ण शरीर बिरामी छ । मेरो पापको कारणले मेरा हाडहरू स्वस्थ्य छैनन् ।
Because you have been angry with me, I am suffering great pain. Because of my sin, my whole body is diseased.
4 किनकि मेरा अधर्महरूले मलाई व्याकुल बनाउछन् । ती मेरो निम्ति ज्यादै गह्रौं भारी हुन् ।
All my sins are [like a flood] that covers my head; they are like a load that is very heavy, with the result that I cannot carry it.
5 मेरा मूर्खतापूर्ण पापहरूका कारणले मेरा घाउहरू सडेका र दुर्गन्धित भएका छन् ।
Because I have done foolish things, I have sores that have become worse, and they stink.
6 म कुप्रिन्छु र हरेक दिन अपमानित हुन्छु । म दिनभरि विलाप गरिरहन्छु ।
[Sometimes] I am bent over, and [sometimes] I lie prostrate; I am sad/cry all day.
7 किनकि जलनले मलाई भरेको छ । मेरो शरीर स्वस्थ्य छैन ।
My body is burning with fever, and I am very ill.
8 म स्तब्ध र पूर्ण रूपमा चूर्ण छु । मेरो हृदयको वेदनाको कारणले म सुस्केरा हाल्छु ।
I am completely exhausted, and I have no strength. I am very distressed, and I groan with pain.
9 हे परमप्रभु, मेरो हृदयको भित्री चाहानलाई तपाईंले बुझ्नुहुन्छ र मेरा सुस्केराहरू तपाईंबाट लुकाइएका छैनन् ।
Yahweh, you know that I desire [to be healed]; you hear me while I am groaning.
10 मेरो मुटु धड्किन्छ, मेरो बल घट्छ र मेरा आँखा धमिला हुन्छन् ।
My heat is pounding heavily, and all my strength is gone. I am no longer able to see well.
11 मेरो अवस्थाको कारणले मेरा मित्रहरू र साथीहरूले मलाई त्याग्छन् । मेरा छिमेकीहरू टाढै खडा हुन्छन् ।
My friends and neighbors stay away from me because of my sores; even my own family stays away from me.
12 मेरो ज्यान लिन खोज्नेहरूले मेरो निम्ति पासो थाप्छन् । मेरो हानि गर्न खोज्नेहरूले विनाशकारी कुरा गर्छन् र दिनभरि छलपूर्ण शब्दहरू भन्छन् ।
And those who want to kill me set traps to catch me; those who want to harm me discuss ways to get rid of me; they plot against me all day.
13 तर म बहिरो मानिसजस्तो भएको छु र केही सुन्दिन । म गुँगो मानिसजस्तो भएको छु जसले केही भन्दैन ।
Now I act like I’m deaf, and do not listen [to what they say]. I act like I cannot talk, so I say nothing [to reply to them].
14 म त्यो मानिसजस्तो भएको छु, जसले सुन्दैन, अनि जवाफ फर्काउँदैन ।
I act like a man who does not answer [when people talk to him], because he cannot hear anything.
15 हे परमप्रभु, निश्चय नै, म तपाईंको आसा गर्छु । हे परमप्रभु मेरो परमेश्वर, तपाईंले जवाफ दिनुहुनेछ ।
But Yahweh, I trust in you. My Lord God, you will answer me.
16 म यसो भन्छु ताकि मेरा शत्रुहरूले मेरो गिल्ला नगरून् । मेरो खुट्टा चिप्लयो भने, तिनीहरूले मलाई डरलाग्दो कुराहरू गर्नेछन् ।
I said to you, “Do not cause [me to die, with the result that] my enemies will rejoice! Do not cause me to stumble, with the result that they will be very happy!”
17 किन मैले ठेस खान लागेको छु र म निरन्तर पीडामा छु ।
I say that because I am about to fall down, and I constantly have pain.
18 म आफ्नो दोष स्वीकार गर्छु । मेरा पापको बारेमा म चिन्तित छु ।
I confess the wrong things that I have done; I am [very] sorry for the sins that I have committed.
19 तर मेरा शत्रुहरू असंख्या छन् । मलाई गलत किसिमले घृणा गर्नेहरू धेरै जना छन् ।
My enemies are healthy and strong; there are many people who hate me for no reason.
20 तिनीहरूले मलाई असलको सट्टा खराबी गर्छन् । जे असल छ सो कुराको पछि म लागे तापनि, तिनीहरूले ममाथि दोष थुपार्छन् ।
Those who do evil things to me in return for my doing good things to them oppose me because I try to do what is right.
21 हे परमप्रभु, मलाई नत्याग्नुहोस् । हे मेरा परमेश्वर, मबाट टाढा नहुनुहोस् ।
Yahweh, do not abandon me! My God, do not stay far from me!
22 हे परमप्रभु, मेरो उद्धार, मलाई सहायता गर्न चाँडो आउनुहोस् ।
Lord, you are the one who saves/rescues me; Quickly [come and] help me!
