भजनसंग्रह 23
1 परमप्रभु मेरो गोठाला हुनुहुन्छ । मलाई कुनै कुरा खाँचो पर्नेछैन ।
A psalm of David. Since the Lord is my shepherd, I have everything I need.
2 उहाँले मलाई हरियो खर्कहरूमा सुताउनुहुन्छ । उहाँले मलाई शान्त पानीको छेउमा डोर्याउनुहुन्छ ।
He gives me rest in green fields. He leads me towards quietly flowing streams.
3 उहाँले मेरो जीवनलाई पुनर्जीवित पार्नुहुन्छ । उहाँले आफ्नो नाउँको खातिर मलाई ठिक बाटो देखाउनुहुन्छ ।
He revives me. He guides me along the right paths because that's the kind of person he is.
4 मैले निस्पट्ट अँध्यारो छायाको बेसीमा हिंड्नुपर्दा पनि, हानिसँग म डराउनेछैन किनभने तपाईं मसँग हुनुहुन्छ । तपाईंको लट्ठी र तपाईंको लौरोले मलाई सान्त्वना दिन्छन् ।
Even when I walk through the valley dark as death, I'm not afraid of any evil, because you are right there with me; your rod and your staff protect me.
5 मेरा शत्रुहरूका सामु तपाईंले मेरो निम्ति भोज तयार पार्नुहुन्छ । तपाईंले मेरो शिरलाई तेलले अभिषेक गर्नुभएको छ । मेरो कचौरा भरिएर पोखिन्छ ।
You prepare a banquet for me before my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with olive oil. My cup is so full it overflows!
6 निश्चय नै, मेरो जीवनका सारा दिन भलाइ र करारको विश्वस्तता मेरो पछि आउनेछ । र परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा म सधैंभरि वास गर्नेछु ।
I'm absolutely certain that your goodness and trustworthy love will be with me all through my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
