भजनसंग्रह 21
1 हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंको बलमा राजा आनन्दित हुन्छन् । तपाईंले दिनुहुने उद्धारमा तिनी कति धेरै आनन्दित हुन्छन्!
To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. The King shall reioyce in thy strength, O Lord: yea how greatly shall he reioyce in thy saluation!
2 तिनको मन इच्छा तपाईंले तिनलाई पुरा गर्नुभएको छ र तिनको ओठको बिन्ती तपाईंले बाँकी राख्नुभएको छैन ।
Thou hast giuen him his hearts desire, and hast not denyed him the request of his lips. (Selah)
3 किनकि तपाईंले तिनलाई भरपूर आशिष्हरू दिनुहुन्छ, तपाईंले तिनको शिरमा शुद्ध सुनको मुकुट लगाउनुहुन्छ ।
For thou diddest preuent him with liberall blessings, and didest set a crowne of pure gold vpon his head.
4 तिनले तपाईंलाई जीवन मागे । तपाईंले त्यो तिनलाई दिनुभयो । तपाईंले तिनलाई सदासर्वदाको निम्ति लामो आयु दिनुभयो ।
He asked life of thee, and thou gauest him a long life for euer and euer.
5 तपाईंको विजयको कारणले तिनको गौरव महान् छ । तपाईंले तिनलाई वैभव र ऐश्वर्य दिनुभएको छ ।
His glory is great in thy saluation: dignitie and honour hast thou laid vpon him.
6 किनकि तपाईंले तिनलाई सदाको आशिष् दिनुहुन्छ । आफ्नो उपस्थितिले आनन्दते तपाईंले तिनलाई खुसी तुल्याउनुहुन्छ ।
For thou hast set him as blessings for euer: thou hast made him glad with the ioy of thy countenance.
7 राजाले परमप्रभुमा भरोसा गर्छन् । सर्वोच्चको करारको विश्वस्तताले तिनी डग्नेछैनन् ।
Because the King trusteth in the Lord, and in the mercie of the most High, he shall not slide.
8 तपाईंका हातले तपाईंका सबै शत्रुलाई समात्नेछन् । तपाईंका दाहिले हातले तपाईंलाई घृणा गर्नेहरूलाई समात्नेछ ।
Thine hand shall finde out all thine enemies, and thy right hand shall finde out them that hate thee.
9 तपाईंको क्रोधको दिनमा, आगोको भट्टीमा झैं तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई जलाउनुहुन्छ । परमप्रभुले आफ्नो क्रोधमा तिनीहरूलाई भस्मा पार्नुहुनेछ र आगोले तिनीहरूलाई सखाप पार्नेछ ।
Thou shalt make them like a fierie ouen in time of thine anger: the Lord shall destroy them in his wrath, and the fire shall deuoure them.
10 तिनीहरूकाई सन्तानलाई पृथ्वीबाट र तिनीहरूका छोराछोरीलाई मानवजातिको माझबाट तपाईंले नाश पार्नुहुनेछ ।
Their fruite shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seede from the children of men.
11 किनकि तिनीहरूले तपाईंको विरुद्धमा खराब इच्छा गरे । तिनीहरूले एउटा षड्यन्त्र रचे जसद्वारा तिनीहरू सफल हुनेछैनन् ।
For they intended euill against thee, and imagined mischiefe, but they shall not preuaile.
12 किनकि तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई फर्काउनुहुनेछ । तिनीहरूको सामु तपाईंले आफ्नो धनुमा तान्नुहुनेछ ।
Therefore shalt thou put them aparte, and the strings of thy bowe shalt thou make readie against their faces.
13 हे परमप्रभु, आफ्नो बलमा उच्च हुनुहोस् । तपाईंको शक्तिको गीत हामी गाउछौं र स्तुति गर्छौं ।
Be thou exalted, O Lord, in thy strength: so will we sing and prayse thy power.
