भजनसंग्रह 20
1 कष्टको दिनमा परमप्रभुले तपाईंलाई सहायता गरून् । याकूबका परमेश्वरको नाउँले तपाईंको सुरक्षा देऊन्
To the Overseer. — A Psalm of David. Jehovah doth answer thee, In a day of adversity, The name of the God of Jacob doth set thee on high,
2 र तपाईंलाई सियोनबाट सहारा दिन पवित्र स्थानबाट सहायता पठाऊन् ।
He doth send thy help from the sanctuary, And from Zion doth support thee,
3 उहाँले तपाईंका सबै बलिहरू सम्झना गरून् र तपाईंका बलिदान स्वीकार गरून् । सेला
He doth remember all thy presents, And thy burnt-offering doth reduce to ashes. (Selah)
4 तपाईंको हृदयको इच्छा उहाँले तपाईंलाई पुरा गरिदेऊन् र तपाईंका सबै योजनाहरू पुरा होऊन् ।
He doth give to thee according to thy heart, And all thy counsel doth fulfil.
5 अनि हामी तपाईंको विजयमा आनन्दित हुनेछौं र हाम्रा परमेश्वरको नाउँमा हामी झन्डाहरू उचाल्नेछौं । परमप्रभुले तपाईंका सबै बिन्तीहरू सुन्नुभएको होस् ।
We sing of thy salvation, And in the name of our God set up a banner. Jehovah doth fulfil all thy requests.
6 परमप्रभुले आफ्नो अभिषिक्त जनलाई बचाउनुहुन्छ भनी म जान्दछु । उहाँलाई बचाउन सक्ने आफ्नो दाहिने हातको बलले, आफ्नो पवित्र स्वर्गबाट परमप्रभुले उहाँलाई जवाफ दिनुहुनेछ ।
Now I have known That Jehovah hath saved His anointed, He answereth him from His holy heavens, With the saving might of His right hand.
7 कसैले रथहरूमा र अरूले घोडाहरूमा भर पर्छन् तर हामी परमप्रभु हाम्रा परमेश्वरमा पुकारा गर्छौं ।
Some of chariots, and some of horses, And we of the name of Jehovah our God Make mention.
8 तिनीहरू तल झारिनेछन् र ढल्नेछन्, तर हामी उठ्नेछौं र सोझो खडा हुनेछौं ।
They — they have bowed and have fallen, And we have risen and station ourselves upright.
9 हे परमप्रभु, राजालाई बचानुहोस् । हामीले पुकारा गर्दा हामीलाई मदत गर्नुहोस् ।
O Jehovah, save the king, He doth answer us in the day we call!
