1 कष्‍टको दिनमा परमप्रभुले तपाईंलाई सहायता गरून् । याकूबका परमेश्‍वरको नाउँले तपाईंको सुरक्षा देऊन्
To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Jehovah answer thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob protect thee;
2 र तपाईंलाई सियोनबाट सहारा दिन पवित्र स्थानबाट सहायता पठाऊन् ।
May he send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 उहाँले तपाईंका सबै बलिहरू सम्झना गरून् र तपाईंका बलिदान स्वीकार गरून् । सेला
Remember all thine oblations, and accept thy burnt-offering; (Selah)
4 तपाईंको हृदयको इच्‍छा उहाँले तपाईंलाई पुरा गरिदेऊन् र तपाईंका सबै योजनाहरू पुरा होऊन् ।
Grant thee according to thy heart, and fulfil all thy counsels.
5 अनि हामी तपाईंको विजयमा आनन्‍दित हुनेछौं र हाम्रा परमेश्‍वरको नाउँमा हामी झन्डाहरू उचाल्नेछौं । परमप्रभुले तपाईंका सबै बिन्तीहरू सुन्‍नुभएको होस् ।
We will triumph in thy salvation, and in the name of our God will we set up our banners. Jehovah fulfil all thy petitions!
6 परमप्रभुले आफ्‍नो अभिषिक्‍त जनलाई बचाउनुहुन्छ भनी म जान्दछु । उहाँलाई बचाउन सक्‍ने आफ्नो दाहिने हातको बलले, आफ्‍नो पवित्र स्वर्गबाट परमप्रभुले उहाँलाई जवाफ दिनुहुनेछ ।
Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; he answereth him from the heavens of his holiness, with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 कसैले रथहरूमा र अरूले घोडाहरूमा भर पर्छन् तर हामी परमप्रभु हाम्रा परमेश्‍वरमा पुकारा गर्छौं ।
Some make mention of chariots, and some of horses, but we of the name of Jehovah our God.
8 तिनीहरू तल झारिनेछन् र ढल्‍नेछन्, तर हामी उठ्नेछौं र सोझो खडा हुनेछौं ।
They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen and stand upright.
9 हे परमप्रभु, राजालाई बचानुहोस् । हामीले पुकारा गर्दा हामीलाई मदत गर्नुहोस् ।
Save, Jehovah! Let the king answer us in the day we call.
