भजनसंग्रह 2
1 जातिहरूले किन कोलाहल मच्चाउँछन् र मानिसहरूले किन असफल हुने षड्यान्त्र रच्छन्?
Therefore did the heathen rage, and the nations imagine vain things?
2 पृथ्वीका राजाहरू एकसाथ मिलेर साँठगाँठ गर्छन् अनि परमप्रभु र उहाँको अभिषिक्त जनको विरुद्धमा शासकहरू यसो भनेर षड्यान्त्र रच्छन्,
The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers gathered themselves together, against the Lord, and against his Christ;
3 “तिनीहरूले हामीलाई लगाएका हतकडीहरू हामी तोडौं र तिनीहरूका साङ्लाहरू फालौं ।”
[saying], Let us break through their bonds, and cast away their yoke from us.
4 स्वर्गमा विराजमान हुनुहुनेचाहिं तिनीहरूलाई उपहास गर्नुहुन्छ । परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूलाई खिसी गर्नुहुन्छ ।
He that dwells in the heavens shall laugh them to scorn, and the Lord shall mock them.
5 तब उहाँ तिनीहरूसँग आफ्नो रिसमा बोल्नुहुन्छ र तिनीहरूलाई आफ्नो क्रोधमा यसो भनेर त्रसित पार्नुहुन्छ,
Then shall he speak to them in his anger, and trouble them in his fury.
6 “मेरो पवित्र पर्वत सियोनमा म आफैंले मेरो राजालाई अभिषेक गरेको छु ।”
But I have been made king by him on Sion his holy mountain,
7 परमप्रभुको एउटा आदेश म घोषणा गर्नेछु । उहाँले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमी मेरो पुत्र हौ! आजको दिन म तिम्रो पिता भएको छु ।
declaring the ordinance of the Lord: the Lord said to me, You are my Son, today have I begotten you.
8 मसँग माग र तिम्रो उत्तराधिाकरको रूपमा म तिमीलाई जातिहरू दिनेछु र पृथ्वीका टाढाका क्षेत्रहरू तिम्रो सम्पत्तिको रूपमा दिनेछु ।
Ask of me, and I will give you the heathen [for] your inheritance, and the ends of the earth [for] your possession.
9 तिमीले तिनीहरूलाई फलामे डन्डाले तोड्नेछौ । कुमाले भाँडोझैं तिमीले तिनीहरूलाई टुक्रा-टुक्रा पार्नेछौ ।”
You shall rule them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces as a potter's vessel.
10 त्यसैले ए राजाहरू हो, सावधान होओ । ए पृथ्वीका शासकहरू हो, आफूलाई सच्याओ ।
Now therefore understand, you kings: be instructed, all you that judge the earth.
11 भयसाथ परमप्रभुको आराधना गर र कम्पनसाथ आनन्दित होओ ।
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice in him with trembling.
12 पुत्रलाई चुम्बन गर नत्र तिमीहरूसँग उहाँ रिसाउनुहुनेछ र उहाँको क्रोध एक क्षणको निम्ति दन्किंदा तिमीहरू बाटैमा मर्नेछौ । उहाँमा शरण लिने सबै जना कति धन्य हुन् ।
Accept correction, lest at any time the Lord be angry, and you should perish from the righteous way: whenever his wrath shall be suddenly kindled, blessed are all they that trust in him.
