< भजनसंग्रह 19 >

1 आकाशले परमेश्‍वरको महिमा घोषणा गर्छ र आकाशहरूले उहाँका हातका कामहरूको घोषणा गर्छन् ।
For the end, a Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims the work of his hands.
2 दिनदिनै भाषण दिन्‍छ । त्‍यसले हरेक रात ज्ञान प्रकट गर्छ ।
Day to day utters speech, and night to night proclaims knowledge.
3 त्‍यहाँ कुनै बोली वा शब्दको आवाज सुनिंदैन। तिनीहरूका आवाज सुनिंएको हुँदैन ।
There are no speeches or words, in which their voices are not heard.
4 तापनि तिनका शब्दहरू सारा पृथ्वीभरि जान्छन् र तिनीहरूका भाषण संसारको अन्तसम्म नै पुग्छ । तिनीहरूका माझमा सूर्यको निम्ति उहाँले पाल टाँग्‍नुभएको छ ।
Their voice is gone out into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.
5 सूर्यचाहिं दुलहा आफ्नो कोठाबाट बाहिर आइरहेको जस्‍तै हो र आफ्‍नो दौड सिद्‍याउँदा आनन्‍दित हुने बलियो मानिसजस्तै हो ।
In the sun he has set his tabernacle; and he comes forth as a bridegroom out of his chamber: he will exult as a giant to run his course.
6 एक छेउमा सूर्य उदाउँछ र आकाश पार गरेर अर्को छेउमा पुग्‍छ । त्‍यसको तातोबाट कुनै कुरा पनि उम्कँदैन ।
His going forth is from the extremity of heaven, and his circuit to the [other] end of heaven: and no one shall be hidden from his heat.
7 परमप्रभुको व्यवस्था सिद्ध छ, प्राणलाई पुर्नजीवित पार्ने । परमप्रभुको साक्षी भरपर्दो छ, सोझोलाई बुद्धिमान बनाउने ।
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting souls: the testimony of the Lord is faithful, instructing babes.
8 परमप्रभुका शिक्षाहरू ठीक छन्, हृदयलाई खुसी पार्ने । परमप्रभुको आज्ञा शुद्ध छन्, आँखालाई ज्‍योति दिने ।
The ordinances of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is bright, enlightening the eyes.
9 परमप्रभुको भय शुद्ध छ, यो सदासर्वदा रहने । परमप्रभुका धार्मिक आदेशहरू सत्य र समग्रमा ठिक छन् ।
The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring for ever and ever: the judgments of the Lord are true, [and] justified altogether.
10 तिनीहरू सुनभन्दा, धेरै शुद्ध सुनभन्दा मूल्यवान छन् । तिनीहरू मह र चाकाबाट चुहिंरहेको महभन्दा पनि गुलिया छन् ।
To be desired more than gold, and much precious stone: sweeter also than honey and the honey-comb.
11 हो, तिद्वारा तपाईंका सेवकहरूले चेतावनी पाउँछन् । ति पलना गर्नुमा ठुलो इनाम छ ।
For your servant keeps to them: in the keeping of them [there is] great reward.
12 कसले आफ्ना सबै गल्तीहरू बुझ्‍न सक्छ? मलाई लुकेका गल्तीहरूबाट शुद्ध पार्नुहोस् ।
Who will understand [his] transgressions? purge you me from my secret [sins].
13 तपाईंको दासलाई अहङ्कारका पापहरूबाट बचाउनुहोस्, तिनीहरूले ममाथि राज्‍य नगरून् । तब म सिद्ध हुनेछु र धेरै अपराधहरूबाट म निर्दोष हुनेछु ।
And spare your servant [the attack] of strangers: if they do not gain the dominion over me, then shall I be blameless, and I shall be clear from great sin.
14 हे परमप्रभु, मेरो चट्टान र मेरो उद्धारक, मेरा मुखका शब्‍दहरू र मेरा हृदयका विचारहरू तपाईंको दृष्‍टिमा ग्रहणयोग्य होऊन् ।
So shall the sayings of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be pleasing continually before you, O Lord my helper, and my redeemer.
