भजनसंग्रह 18
1 हे परमप्रभु, मेरो बल, म तपाईंलाई प्रेम गर्छु ।
“To the chief musician, by the servant of the Lord, by David, who spoke unto the Lord the words of this song on the day that the Lord had delivered him out of the power of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul; And he said,” I ever love thee, O Lord, my strength.
2 परमप्रभु मेरो चट्टान, मेरो किल्ला हुनुहुन्छ, जसले मलाई सुरक्षामा लानुहुन्छ । उहाँ मेरो परमेश्वर, मेरो चट्टाना हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँमा नै म शरण लिन्छु । उहाँ मेरो ढाल, मेरो उद्धारको सिङ् र मेरो किल्ला हुनुहुन्छ ।
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
3 म परमप्रभुलाई पुकारा गर्छु जो प्रशंसायोग्य हुनुहुन्छ र म आफ्ना शत्रुहरूबाट बाँच्नेछु ।
Praised, I cried, be the Lord, and from my enemies was I saved.
4 मृत्युका डोरीहरूले मलाई बाँधे र व्यर्थका छालहरूले मलाई व्याकुल बनाए ।
The bonds of death encompassed me, and the floods of destruction made me afraid.
The bonds of hell encircled me: the snares of death seized on me. (Sheol h7585)
6 मेरो कष्टमा, मैले परमप्रभुमा पुकारा गरें । मैले सहायताको निम्ति मेरो परमेश्वरमा पुकारा गरें । उहाँले आफ्नो मन्दिरबाट मेरो सोर सुन्नुभयो । सहायताको निम्ति मेरो पुकारा उहाँको उपस्थितिमा गयो । यो उहाँको कानहरूभित्र गयो ।
[When] in my distress I called upon the Lord, and unto my God I cried: he heard from his temple my voice, and my complaint came before him, even into his ears.
7 तब पृथ्वी हल्लियो र काम्यो । पहाडहरूका जगहरू पनि कामे र हल्लिए किनभने परमेश्वर रिसाउनुभयो ।
Then shook and trembled the earth; and the foundations of the mountains were moved; and they were shaken, because he was wroth.
8 उहाँको नाकका प्वालहरूबाट धूँवा माथि गयो र उहाँको मुखबाट बल्दो आगो निस्केर आयो । यसले कोइलाहरू बाल्यो ।
Smoke went up in his anger and consuming fire out of his mouth: coals flamed forth from him.
9 उहाँले स्वर्ग खोल्नुभयो, र तल आउनुभयो र उहाँको पाउमुनि बाक्लो अध्याँरो थियो ।
And he bent the heavens, and came down: and thick darkness was under his feet:
10 उहाँ करूबमा चढ्नुभयो र उड्नुभयो । हावाको पखेटाहरूमा उहाँ सवार हुनुभयो ।
And he rode upon a cherub, and flew along, and he flitted by upon the wings of the wind.
11 अन्धकार र आकाशको बाक्लो बादललाई उहाँले आफ्नो वरिपरिको पाल बनाउनुभयो ।
He made darkness his hiding-place, round about him as his pavilion, dark waters, thick clouds of the skies.
12 उहाँको सामु बिजुलीबाट असिना र आगोका भुङ्ग्रोहरू झरे ।
From the brightness before him his thick clouds passed away, [with] hail-stones and coals of fire.
13 परमप्रभु स्वर्गबाट गर्जनुभयो । सर्वोच्चको आवाजले कराउनुयो ।
And the Lord thundered in the heavens, and the Most High uttered forth his voice, [with] hail-stones and coals of fire.
14 उहाँले आफ्ना वाणहरू प्रहार गर्नुभयो र आफ्ना शत्रुहरूलाई तितरबितर पार्नुभयो । धेरै चट्याङहरूले तिनीहरूलाई तितरबितर पारे ।
And he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot forth lightnings, and discomfited them.
15 तब पानीका धारहरू देखा परे । हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंको हप्की र तपाईंको नाकको प्वालहरूका सासको विष्फोटले संसारका जगहरू उदाङ्गो पारिए ।
And then were seen the channels of the waters, and there were laid open the foundations of the world, through thy rebuke, O Lord, through the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
16 उहाँले माथिबाट हात पसार्नुभयो । उहाँले मलाई समात्नुभयो । उहाँले मलाई उर्लंदो पानीबाट बाहिर निकाल्नुभयो ।
He stretched out from above [his hand], he took me; he drew me out from mighty waters.
17 मेरो बलियो शत्रुबाट, मलाई घृणा गर्नेहरूबाट उहाँले मलाई बचाउनुभयो, किनकि तिनीहरू मेरो निम्ति अति बलिया थिए ।
He delivered me from my enemy, the strong, and from those that hated me, when they were too mighty for me.
18 मेरो कष्टको दिनमा तिनीहरू मेरो विरुद्ध आए तर परमप्रभु नै मेरो सहारा हुनुभयो ।
They overcame me on the day of my calamity; but the Lord became my stay.
19 उहाँले मलाई फराकिलो ठाउँमा स्वतन्त्र राख्नुभयो । उहाँले मलाई बचाउनुभयो किनभने उहाँ मसँग खुसी हुनुभयो ।
And he brought me forth into a large space; he delivered me, because he had delight in me.
20 मेरो धार्मिकताको कारणले परमप्रभुले मलाई इनाम दिनुभएको छ । उहाँले मलाई पुनर्स्थापना गर्नुभएको छ किनभने मेरा हातहरू शुद्ध थिए ।
The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the purity of my hands did he recompense me.
21 किनकि मैले परमप्रभुका मार्गहरू मैले पालन गरेको छु र मेरो परमेश्वरबाट दुष्टतासाथ फर्केको छैन ।
For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
22 किनकि उहाँका सबै धार्मिक आदेशहरू मेरो सामु छन् । उहाँको नियमहरूको बारेमा, तिबाट म भड्केको छैन ।
For all his ordinances were before me, and his statutes had I not put away from me.
23 उहाँको सामु म निर्दोष भएको छु र मैले आफूलाई पापबाट अलग राखेको छु ।
I was also upright with him, and I guarded myself against my iniquity.
24 यसकारण मेरो धार्मिकताको कारणले परमप्रभुले मलाई पुनर्स्थापना गर्नुभएको छ, किनभने मेरा हातहरू उहाँको आँखाका समु शुद्ध थिए ।
Therefore did the Lord recompense me according to my righteousness, according to the purity of my hands before his eyes.
25 कुनै पनि विश्वासीलाई तपाईं आफै विश्वासयोग्य प्रकट गर्नुहुन्छ । निर्दोष मानिसलाई तपाईं आफै निर्दोष प्रकट गर्नुहुन्छ ।
With the kind thou wilt show thyself kind; with the upright man thou wilt show thyself upright;
26 कुनै पनि शुद्ध व्यक्तिलाई तपाईं आफै शुद्ध प्रकट गर्नुहुन्छ । तर कुनै पनि बाङ्गो व्यक्तिलाई तपाईं आफै चलाख प्रकट गर्नुहुन्छ ।
With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; and with the perverse thou wilt wage a contest.
27 किनकि तपाईंले कष्टमा परेकाहरूलाई बचाउनुहुन्छ तर घमण्डी, अहङ्कारी आँखालाई तपाईंले तल झार्नुहुन्छ ।
For thou wilt indeed save the afflicted people; but haughty eyes wilt thou bring down.
28 तपाईंले मेरो बत्तिलाई प्रकाश दिनुहुन्छ । परमप्रभु मेरा परमेश्वरले मेरो अन्धकारलाई उज्यालो पार्नुहुन्छ ।
For thou wilt cause my light to shine: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
29 किनकि तपाईंद्वारा नै म बाधालाई नाघ्न सक्छु । मेरा परमेश्वरद्वारा नै म पर्खाल नाध्न सक्छु ।
For [aided] by thee I run through a troop; and [helped] by my God I leap over a wall.
30 परमेश्वरको बारेमा, उहाँको मार्ग सिद्ध छ । परमप्रभुको वचन शुद्ध छ । उहाँमा शरण लिने हरेकको निम्ति उहाँ ढाल हुनुहुन्छ ।
As for God, —his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a shield to all those that trust in him.
31 किनकि परमप्रभुबाहेक को परमेश्वर छ र? हाम्रा परमेश्वरबाहेक को चट्टान छ र?
For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock beside our God?
32 कम्मर पेटीझैं परमेश्वरले नै मलाई बल दिनुहुन्छ, जसले निर्दोष व्यक्तिलाई आफ्नो मार्गमा राख्नुहुन्छ ।
He is the God that girdeth me with strength, and rendereth my way unobstructed.
33 उहाँले मेरा खुट्टाहरूलाई हरिणको जस्तै तेज बनाउनुहुन्छ र मलाई उच्च ठाउँहरूमा राख्नुहुन्छ ।
He maketh my feet like those of the hinds, and upon my high-places he causeth me to stand.
34 युद्धको निम्ति उहाँले मेरा हातहरूलाई तालिम दिनुहुन्छ र मेरा पाखुराहरूले काँसाको धनु झुकाउँछन् ।
He teacheth my hands for the war, so that a brazen bow is bent by my arms.
35 तपाईंले मलाई आफ्नो उद्धारको ढाल दिनुभएको छ । तपाईंको दाहिने हातले मलाई सहायता गरेको छ र तपाईंको कृपाले मलाई महान् बनाएको छ ।
And thou gavest me the shield of thy salvation, and thy right hand supported me: and thy meekness hath made me great.
36 तपाईंले मेरो तल मेरो खुट्टाहरूलाई ठाउँ फराकिलो पार्नुभएको छ ताकि मेरा खुट्टाहरू चिप्लेका छैनन् ।
Thou enlargest my steps under me, so that my joints do not slip.
37 मैले आफ्ना शत्रुहरूलाई खेदें र तिनीहरूलाई समातें । तिनीहरू नाश नभएसम्म म फर्किनँ ।
I pursue my enemies, and overtake them; and I return not again till I have made an end of them.
38 मैले तिनीहरूलाई टुक्रा-टुक्रा पारें ताकि तिनीहरू उठ्न सकेनन् । तिनीहरू मेरा खुट्टाहरूमुनि ढलेका छन् ।
I crush them that they are not able to rise: they fall under my feet.
39 किनकि युद्धको निम्ति कम्मर पेटीझैं तपाईंले मलाई बल दिनुभयो । मेरो विरुद्ध उठ्नेहरूलाई तपाईंले मेरो अधीनमा पार्नुभयो ।
For thou hast girded me with strength for the war: thou subduest my opponents under me.
40 मेरा शत्रुहरूका गर्दन तपाईंले मलाई दिनुभयो । मलाई घृणा गर्नेहरूलाई मैले निर्मूल पारें ।
And my enemies thou causest to turn their back to me; and those that hate me, —that I may destroy them.
41 तिनीहरूले सहायताको निम्ति पुकारा गरे, तर कसैले तिनीहरूलाई बचाएन । तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुलाई पुकारा गरे, तर उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई जवाफ दिनुभएन ।
They cry, but there is none to help; unto the Lord, —but he answereth them not.
42 हावाको सामु धूलोझैं मैले तिनीहरूलाई चकनाचूर पारें । गल्लीमा हिलोझैं मैले तिनीहरूलाई फालें ।
And I beat them small as the dust before the wind: like the dirt in the streets do I cast them out.
43 मानिसहरूका विवादबाट तपाईंले मलाई बचाउनुभयो । तपाईंले मलाई जातिहरूमाथि शिर तुल्याउनुभएको छ । मैले नचिनेका मानिसहरूले मेरो सेवा गर्छन् ।
Thou deliverest me from the contests of the people; thou appointest me to be the head of nations: a people that I know not shall serve me.
44 तिनीहरूले मेरा कुरा सुन्ने बित्तिकै, तिनीहरूले मेरा आज्ञा पालन गरे । विदेशीहरू मेरो सामु झुक्न बाध्य भए ।
As soon as their ear heareth they shall be obedient to me: the children of the stranger shall utter flattery unto me.
45 विदेशीहरू आफ्ना किल्लाहरूबाट थरथर कम्दै बाहिर आए ।
The children of the stranger shall fade away, and come forth trembling out of their close places.
46 परमप्रभु जीवित हुनुहुन्छ । मेरो चट्टानको प्रशंसा होस् । मेरो उद्धारका परमेश्वरलाई उच्च पारियोस् ।
The Lord liveth, and blessed be my Rock; and exalted be the God of my salvation;
47 मेरो निम्ति बदला लिनुहुने परमेश्वर उहाँ नै हुनुहुन्छ, जसले जातिहरूलाई मेरो वशमा पार्नुहुन्छ ।
The God that granteth me vengeance, and subdueth nations under me;
48 मेरा शत्रहरूबाट म मुक्त पारिएको छु । वास्तवमा, मेरो विरुद्ध उठ्नेहरूभन्दा माथि तपाईंले मलाई उठाउनुभयो । हिंस्रक मानिसहरूबाट तपाईंले मलाई बचाउनुभयो ।
That delivereth me from my enemies: also above my opponents thou liftest me up; thou deliverest me from the man of violence.
49 यसकारण, हे परमप्रभु, म तपाईंलाई जातिहरूको माझमा धन्यवाद दिनेछु । तपाईंको नाउँमा प्रशंसा म गाउनेछु ।
Therefore will I give thanks unto thee among the nations, O Lord, and unto thy name will I sing praises, —
50 परमेश्वरले आफ्नो राजालाई महान् विजय दिनुहुन्छ र उहाँले आफ्नो करारको विश्वस्तता आफ्नो अभिषिक्त जन, दाऊद र तिनका सन्तानहरूलाई सदासर्वदा प्रकट गर्नुहुन्छ ।
[To him] that maketh great the salvation of his king, and who sheweth kindness to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for ever.
