भजनसंग्रह 148
1 परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर । ए स्वर्गमा हुनेहरू हो, परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर । ए उच्च स्थानहरूमा हुनेहरू हो, उहाँको प्रशंसा गर ।
Praise Yahweh! Praise him, from up in heaven; praise him from way up in the sky!
2 उहाँका सबै स्वर्गदूत हो, उहाँको प्रशंसा गर । ए उहाँका सबै फौज हो, उहाँको प्रशंसा गर ।
All you angels who belong to him, praise him! All you who are in the armies of heaven, praise him!
3 हे सूर्य र चन्द्रमा हो, उहाँको प्रशंसा गर । ए सबै चम्किने तारा हो, उहाँको प्रशंसा गर ।
Sun and moon, [you also] praise him! You shining stars, you praise him!
4 ए सर्वोच्च स्वर्ग र आकाशमाथिका पानी हो, उहाँको प्रशंसा गर ।
You highest heavens, praise him! And you waters that are high above the sky, praise him!
5 तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुको नाउँको प्रशंसा गरून्, किनकि उहाँले आज्ञा दिनुभयो र तिनीहरू सृष्टि भए ।
I want [all of] these to praise Yahweh [MTY] because by commanding [them to exist], he created them.
6 उहाँले तिनलाई सदासर्वदाको निम्ति स्थापित पनि गर्नुभएको छ । उहाँले एउटा आदेश जारी गर्नुभयो जो कहिल्यै बद्लिंदैन ।
He determined the places where they should be [in the sky], and he commanded that they should be there forever. They cannot disobey that command!
7 पृथ्वीबाट उहाँको प्रशंसा गर, हे समुद्रका विशाल जन्तुहरू र सागरका गहिराइहरू हो,
And everything on the earth, praise Yahweh! You [huge] sea monsters and [everything else that is] deep [in the ocean],
8 हे आगो र असिना, हिउँ र बादल, उहाँको वचन पुरा गर्ने आँधी बेहरी हो ।
and fire and hail, and snow and frost, and strong winds that obey what he commands, [I tell] all of you to praise Yahweh!
9 उहाँको प्रशंसा गर, हे सबै पहाड र डाँडाहरू, फलका रूखहरू र सबै देवदारुहरू हो,
Hills and mountains, fruit trees and cedar [trees],
10 जङ्गली पशुहरू र पाल्तु पशुहरू, घस्रने प्राणीहरू र चराहरू हो ।
all the wild animals and all [you] cattle, and the (reptiles/creatures that scurry across the ground), and [all] the birds, [I tell all of them to praise Yahweh]!
11 परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर, हे पृथ्वीका राजाहरू र सबै जातिहरू, शासकहरू र पृथ्वीमा शासन गर्ने सबैले,
You kings on this earth and all the people [that you rule], you princes and all [other] rulers,
12 जवान पुरुषहरू र जवान स्त्रीहरू, वृद्धहरू र बालकहरू दुवैले ।
you young men and young women, you old people and children, [everyone, praise Yahweh!]
13 तिनीहरू सबैले परमप्रभुको नाउँको प्रशंसा गरून्, किनकि उहाँको नाउँ मात्र उच्च पारिन्छ र उहाँको महिमाले पृथ्वी र स्वर्गलाई ढाक्छ ।
I want them [all] to praise Yahweh [MTY] because he is greater than anyone else. His glory is greater than [anything on] the earth or [in] heaven.
14 उहाँले आफ्ना सबै विश्वासयोग्य जनहरू, इस्राएलीहरू, उहाँका नजिकका सबै मानिसबाट प्रशंसाको निम्ति आफ्ना मानिसहरूका सिङ खडा गर्नुभएको छ । परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर ।
He caused us, his people, to be strong in order that we, his people, we Israeli people (who are very precious to him/whom he loves very much), would praise him. So praise Yahweh!
