भजनसंग्रह 135
1 परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर । परमप्रभुको नाउँको प्रशंसा गर । हे परमप्रभुका सेवकहरू हो, उहाँको प्रशंसा गर ।
Praise ye the name of the Lord: O you his servants, praise the Lord:
2 तिमीहरू जो परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा, हाम्रा परमेश्वरको मन्दिरको चोकहरूमा खडा हुन्छौ ।
You that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.
3 परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर, किनकि उहाँ असल हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँको नाउँको स्तुति गाओ, किनकि यसो गर्नु सुखाद कुरा हो ।
Praise ye the Lord, for the Lord is good: sing ye to his name, for it is sweet.
4 किनकि परमप्रभुले याकूबलाई आफ्नो निम्ति, इस्राएललाई आफ्नो सम्पत्तिको रूपमा रोज्नुभएको छ ।
For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself: Israel for his own possession.
5 परमप्रभु महान् हुनुहुन्छ भनी म जान्दछु, कि हाम्रो परमप्रभु सबै देवताभन्दा माथि हुनुहुन्छ ।
For I have known that the Lord is great, and our God is above all gods.
6 परमप्रभुले जे इच्छा गर्नुहुन्छ, स्वर्गमा, पृथ्वीमा, समुद्रमा र सबै महासागरका गहिराइमा उहाँले त्यही गर्नुहुन्छ ।
Whatsoever the Lord hath pleased he hath done, in heaven, in earth, in the sea, and in all the deeps.
7 उहाँले बादललाई टाढाबाट, चट्याङलाई वर्षाको साथी बनाएर ल्याउनुहुन्छ, र आफ्नो भण्डारबाट हुरीबतास निकाल्नुहुन्छ ।
He bringeth up clouds from the end of the earth: he hath made lightnings for the rain. He bringeth forth winds out of his stores:
8 उहाँले मिश्रदेशमा मानिस र पशु दुवैको जेठोलाई मार्नुभयो ।
He slew the firstborn of Egypt from man even unto beast.
9 उहाँले मिश्रदेशमा तिमीहरूका माझमा फारो र त्यसका सबै सेवकहरूका विरुद्धमा चिन्हहरू र चमत्कारहरू पठाउनुभयो ।
He sent forth signs and wonders in the midst of thee, O Egypt: upon Pharao, and upon all his servants.
10 उहाँले धेरै जातिलाई आक्रमण गर्नुभयो र शक्तिशाली राजाहरूलाई मार्नुभयो,
He smote many nations, and slew mighty kings:
11 एमोरीहरूका राजा सीहोन र बाशानका राजा ओग, अनि कनानका सबै राज्यलाई ।
Sehon king of the Amorrhites, and Og king of Basan, and all the kingdoms of Chanaan.
12 तिनीहरूका देश उहाँले हामीलाई उत्तराधिकार, उहाँका मानिस इस्राएलका उत्तराधिकारको रूपमा दिनुभयो ।
And gave their land for an inheritance, for an inheritance to his people Israel.
13 हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंको नाउँ सदासर्वदा रहिरहन्छ । हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंको किर्ती सबै पुस्तामा रहन्छ ।
Thy name, O Lord, is for ever: thy memorial, O Lord, unto all generations.
14 किनकि परमप्रभुले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई रक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ र आफ्ना सेवकहरूमाथि दया देखाउनुहुन्छ ।
For the Lord will judge his people, and will be entreated in favour of his servants.
15 जातिहरूका मूर्तीहरू सुन र चाँदीका मानसिहरूका हातका कामहरू हुन् ।
The idols of the Gentiles are silver and gold, the works of men’s hands.
16 ती मूर्तीहरूका मुख छन्, तर तिनीहरू बोल्दैनन् । तिनीहरूका आँखा छन्, तर तिनीहरूले देख्दैनन् ।
They have a mouth, but they speak not: they have eyes, but they see not.
17 तिनीहरूका कान छन्, तर तिनीहरूले सुन्दैनन्, न त तिनीहरूका मुखमा सास नै छ ।
They have ears, but they hear not: neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 तिनीहरूलाई बनाउनेहरू तिनीहरूजस्तै हुन्छन् जस्तो तिनीहरूमा भरोसा गर्ने हरेक व्यक्ति हुन्छ ।
Let them that make them be like to them: and every one that trusteth in them.
19 हे इस्राएलका सन्तानहरू हो, परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर । हे हारूनका सन्तानहरू, परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर ।
Bless the Lord, O house of Israel: bless the Lord, O house of Aaron.
20 हे लेवीका सन्तानहरू हो, परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर । तिमीहरू जसले परमप्रभुको आदर गर्छौ, परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर ।
Bless the Lord, O house of Levi: you that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.
21 सियोनमा परमप्रभुलाई प्रशंसा होस्, जो यरूशलेममा बसोबास गर्नुहुन्छ । परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर ।
Blessed be the Lord out of Sion, who dwelleth in Jerusalem.
