भजनसंग्रह 114
1 जब इस्राएलले मिश्रदेश छोड्यो, याकूबका घराना विदेशी भाषा बोल्ने मानिसहरूबाट आयो,
When Israel went out of Egypt, and the house of Iaakob from the barbarous people,
2 तब यहूदा उहाँको पवित्रस्थान र इस्राएल उहाँको राज्य बन्यो ।
Iudah was his sanctification, and Israel his dominion.
3 समुद्रले हेर्यो र भाग्यो । यर्दन पछि फर्कियो ।
The Sea sawe it and fled: Iorden was turned backe.
4 पहाडहरू पाठाहरूझैं उफ्रे, डाँडहरू थुमाहरूझैं उफ्रे ।
The mountaines leaped like rams, and the hils as lambes.
5 ए समुद्र, तँ किन भागिस्? ए यर्दन, तँ किन पछि फर्किस्?
What ailed thee, O Sea, that thou fleddest? O Iorden, why wast thou turned backe?
6 ए पहाड, तँ किन पाठाहरूझैं उफ्रिस्? ए साना डाँडाहरू, तिमीहरू किन थुमाहरूझैं उफ्र्यौ?
Ye mountaines, why leaped ye like rams, and ye hils as lambes?
7 ए पृथ्वी, परमप्रभुको याकूबका परमेश्वरको उपस्थितिमा सामु थरथर हो ।
The earth trembled at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Iaakob,
8 उहाँले चट्टानलाई पानीको तलाउमा र कडा चट्टानलाई पानीको मूलमा बद्लिनुभयो ।
Which turneth the rocke into waterpooles, and the flint into a fountaine of water.
