भजनसंग्रह 112
1 परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर । परमप्रभुको आज्ञा पालन गर्ने, अनि उहाँका आज्ञाहरूमा प्रशन्न हुने मानिस धन्यको हो ।
Praise Yahweh! (Happy are/He is pleased with) those who revere him, those who happily obey his commands.
2 त्यसका सन्तानहरू पृथ्वीमा शक्तिशाली हुनेछन् । भक्त मानिसका सन्तानहरू धन्यका हुनेछन् ।
Their children will prosper in their land; and their descendants will be blessed [by God].
3 धन र सम्पत्ति त्यसको घरमा हुन्छन् । उहाँको धार्मिकता सदासर्वदा रहनेछ ।
Their families [MTY] will be very wealthy [DOU], and [the results of] their righteous deeds will endure forever.
4 भक्त मानिसको निम्ति अन्धकारमा ज्योति चम्किन्छ । उहाँ अनुग्रही, कृपालु र निष्पक्ष हुनुहुन्छ ।
Godly/Righteous people are [like] lights [SIM] that shine in the darkness on those who are kind, merciful and righteous.
5 अनुग्रहसाथ व्यवहार गर्ने र रुपियाँ ऋण दिने, अनि आफ्नो करोबार इमानदारसाथ गर्ने मानिसको भलो हुन्छ ।
Things [will] go well for those who generously lend money to others and who conduct their businesses honestly.
6 किनकि त्यो कहिल्यै डग्नेछैन । धर्मी व्यक्तिको सम्झना सधैं हुनेछ ।
Righteous people will not be overwhelmed/worried/distressed [because of their troubles], and they will never be forgotten [by other people].
7 त्यो खराब समाचारदेखि डराउँदैन । त्यो परमप्रभुमा भरोसा गरेर दृढ हुन्छ ।
They are not afraid of [receiving] bad news; they confidently/completely trust in Yahweh.
8 त्यसले आफ्ना शत्रुहरूमाथि विजय नदेखेसम्म त्यसको हृदय विनाडर शान्त हुन्छ ।
They are confident and not afraid, because they know that they will see [God defeat] their enemies.
9 त्यसले गरीबहरूलाई उदार चित्तले दिन्छ । त्यसको धार्मिकता सदासर्वदा रहन्छ । त्यसलाई आदरसाथ उच्च पारिनेछ ।
They give things generously to poor/needy [people]; [the results of] their kind deeds will endure forever, and they [will] be exalted and honored.
10 दुष्ट व्यक्तिले यो देख्नेछ र क्रुद्ध हुनेछ । त्यसले रिसले दाह्रा किट्नेछ र त्यो बिलेर जाने छ । दुष्ट मानिसहरूका इच्छा नष्ट हुनेछ ।
Wicked people see those things and are angry; they gnash their teeth [angrily], but they [will] disappear [and die]. The [wicked] things that they want to do [will] never happen.
