भजनसंग्रह 110

1 परमप्रभुले मेरो प्रभुलाई भन्‍नुहुन्छ, “मैले तिम्रा शत्रुहरूलाई तिम्रो खुट्टाको पाउदान नबनाएसम्‍म मेरो दाहिने हातपट्टि बस ।”

A Psalm of David. The affirmation of Jehovah to my Lord: 'Sit at My right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.'

2 परमप्रभुले सियोनबाट तपाईंको शक्तिको राजदण्ड पसार्नुहुनेछ । तपाईंका शत्रुहरूमाथि राज्‍य गर्नुहोस् ।

The rod of thy strength doth Jehovah send from Zion, Rule in the midst of thine enemies.

3 तपाईंका मानिसहरूले तपाईंको शक्तिको दिनमा आफ्नै स्‍वइच्छाले पवित्र वस्‍त्रमा तपाईंको पछि लाग्‍नेछन् । प्रभातको गर्भदेखि नै तपाईंको जवानी तपाईंको निम्‍ति शीतझैं हुनेछ ।

Thy people [are] free-will gifts in the day of Thy strength, in the honours of holiness, From the womb, from the morning, Thou hast the dew of thy youth.

4 परमप्रभुले शपथ खानुभएको छ र बद्‍लिनुहुन्‍नः “सदासर्वदाको निम्‍ति तिमी मल्कीसेदेकजस्‍तै पुजारी हौ ।”

Jehovah hath sworn, and doth not repent, 'Thou [art] a priest to the age, According to the order of Melchizedek.'

5 परमप्रभु तिम्रो दाहिने हातपट्टि हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँले आफ्‍नो क्रोधको दिनमा राजाहरूलाई मार्नुहुनेछ ।

The Lord on thy right hand smote kings In the day of His anger.

6 उहाँले जातिहरूको न्याय गर्नुहुनेछ । उहाँल युद्ध मैदानलाई मृत शरीरहरूले भर्नुहुनेछ । उहाँले धेरै देशहरूका अगुवाहरूलाई मार्नुहुनेछ ।

He doth judge among the nations, He hath completed the carcases, Hath smitten the head over the mighty earth.

7 उहाँले बाटो नजिकैको खोलबाट पिउनुहुनेछ र तब विजयपछि उहाँले आफ्‍नो शिर उच्‍च पार्नुहुनेछ ।

From a brook in the way he drinketh, Therefore he doth lift up the head!
