भजनसंग्रह 105
1 परमप्रभुलाई धन्यवाद देओ । उहाँको नाउँमा पुकारा गर । उहाँका कामहरू जातिहरूका माझमा प्रकट गर ।
Give ye thanks to Jehovah — call ye in His name, Make known among the peoples His acts.
2 उहाँको निम्ति गाओ । उहाँको स्तुति गाओ । उहाँका सबै अचम्मका कामहरूका बारेमा भन ।
Sing ye to Him — sing praise to Him, Meditate ye on all His wonders.
3 उहाँको पवित्र नाउँमा गर्व गर । परमप्रभुको खोजी गर्नेहरूका हृदय आनन्दित होस् ।
Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking Jehovah rejoiceth.
4 परमप्रभु र उहाँको शक्तिको खोजि गर । उहाँको उपस्थितिको निरन्तर खोजी गर ।
Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek ye His face continually.
5 उहाँले गर्नुभएका अचम्मका कामहरू, उहाँका आश्चर्य कामहरू र उहाँको मुखका आदेशहरूलाई याद गर,
Remember His wonders that He did, His signs and the judgments of His mouth.
6 ए उहाँका सेवक अब्राहामका सन्तानहरू, याकूबका मानिसहरू, उहाँका चुनिएका जनहरू हो ।
O seed of Abraham, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.
7 उहाँ परमप्रभु हाम्रा परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँका आदेशहरू सारा पृथ्वीभरि छन् ।
He [is] Jehovah our God, In all the earth [are] His judgments.
8 उहाँले आफ्नो करारलाई सदासर्वदा, आफूले आज्ञा गर्नुभएका वचनलाई हजार पुस्तासम्म सम्झनुहुन्छ ।
He hath remembered to the age His covenant, The word He commanded to a thousand generations,
9 आफूले अब्राहामसँग गरेको करार र इसहाकसँग खाएको शपथलाई उहाँले सम्झनुहुन्छ ।
That He hath made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,
10 यो उहाँले याकूबसँग आदेश रूपमा र इस्राएलसँग अनन्त करारको रूपमा पुष्टि गर्नुभयो ।
And doth establish it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel — a covenant age-during,
11 उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “तेरो उत्तराधिकारको तेरो अंशको रूपमा तँलाई म कनान देश दिनेछु ।”
Saying, 'To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,'
12 तिनीहरू संख्यामा थोरै, अति थोरै मात्र हुँदा र देशमा परदेशीहरू हुँदा नै उहाँले यसो भन्नुभयो ।
In their being few in number, But a few, and sojourners in it.
13 तिनीहरू एक जातिबाट अर्को जातिमा र एक राज्यबाट अर्को राज्यमा गए ।
And they go up and down, from nation unto nation, From a kingdom unto another people.
14 उहाँले कसैलाई पनि तिनीहरूमाथि थिचोमिचो गर्ने अनुमति दिनुभएन । तिनीहरूका खातिर उहाँले राजाहरूलाई हप्काउनुभयो ।
He hath not suffered any to oppress them And He reproveth for their sakes kings.
15 उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “मेरो अभिषिक्त जनलाई नछोओ र मेरा अगमवक्ताहरूका हानि नगर ।”
'Strike not against Mine anointed, And to My prophets do not evil.'
16 उहाँ देशमा अनिकाल ल्याउनुभयो । उहाँ खानेकुराको सारा आपूर्ती बन्द गर्नुभयो ।
And He calleth a famine on the land, The whole staff of bread He hath broken.
17 उहाँले तिनीहरू अगिअगि एक जना मानिसलाई पठाउनुभयो । योसेफलाई कमाराको रूपमा बेचिएका थिए ।
He hath sent before them a man, For a servant hath Joseph been sold.
18 तिनका खुट्टाहरू साङ्लाहरूले बाँधिएका थिए । तिनको घाँटीमा फालमको जन्जीर लगाइयो,
They have afflicted with fetters his feet, Iron hath entered his soul,
19 तिनले जे भनेका थिए सो हुन नआएसम्म । परमप्रभुको वचनले तिनको जाँच गर्यो ।
Till the time of the coming of His word The saying of Jehovah hath tried him.
20 तिनलाई मुक्त गर्न राजाले सेवकहरू पठाए । मानिसहरूका शासकले तिनलाई मुक्त गरे ।
The king hath sent, and looseth him, The ruler of the peoples, and draweth him out.
21 उनले तिनलाई आफ्नो सारा सम्पत्तिको शासकको रूपमा आफ्नो दरवारको निरीक्षक बनाए,
He hath made him lord of his house, And ruler over all his possessions.
22 तिनले चाहेअनुरूप उनका शासकहरूलाई सल्लाह दिन र उनका धर्मगुरुहरूलाई बुद्धि सिकाउन ।
To bind his chiefs at his pleasure, And his elders he maketh wise.
23 त्यसपछि इस्राएल मिश्रदेशमा गए र याकूब केही समय हामको देशमा बसे ।
And Israel cometh in to Egypt, And Jacob hath sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 परमप्रभुले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई फल्दोफुल्दो बनाउनुभयो र तिनीहरूलाई आफ्ना शत्रुहरूभन्दा बलियो बनाउनुभयो ।
And He maketh His people very fruitful, And maketh it mightier than its adversaries.
25 उहाँका मानिसहरूलाई तिनीहरूका शत्रुहरूले घृणा गर्ने, आफ्ना सेवकहरूलाई दुर्व्यवहार गर्ने उहाँले बनाउनुभयो ।
He turned their heart to hate His people, To conspire against His servants.
26 आफूले चुन्नुभएका आफ्ना सेवक मोशा र हारूनलाई उहाँले पठाउनुभयो ।
He hath sent Moses His servant, Aaron whom He had fixed on.
27 तिनीहरूले मिश्रीहरूका माझमा उहाँका चिन्हहरू, हामको देशमा उहाँ अचम्मका कामहरू गरे ।
They have set among them the matters of His signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.
28 उहाँले अन्धकार पठाउनुभयो र त्यो देशलाई अँध्यारो बनाउनुभयो, तर त्यसका मानिसहरूले उहाँका आज्ञाहरू पालन गरेनन् ।
He hath sent darkness, and it is dark, And they have not provoked His word.
29 उहाँले तिनीहरूका पानीलाई रगतमा बद्लिनुभयो र तिनीहरूका माछाहरू मार्नुभयो ।
He hath turned their waters to blood, And putteth to death their fish.
30 तिनीहरूका देश, तिनीहरूका शासकहरूका कोठाहरूमा समेत भ्यागुताहरूले भरिए ।
Teemed hath their land [with] frogs, In the inner chambers of their kings.
31 उहाँले बोल्नुभयो र झिंगाहरू र भुसुनाहरूको हुल तिनीहरूको देशभरि आए ।
He hath said, and the beetle cometh, Lice into all their border.
32 तिनीहरूका देशमा बलिरहेको आगोको ज्वालासहित, उहाँले तिनीहरूको वर्सालाई असिनामा बद्लिनुभयो ।
He hath made their showers hail, A flaming fire [is] in their land.
33 उहाँले तिनीहरूका दाखका बोटहरू र अञ्जीरका रूखहरू नष्ट पार्नुभयो । उहाँ तिनीहरूका देशका रूखहरू भाँच्नुभयो ।
And He smiteth their vine and their fig, And shivereth the trees of their border.
34 उहाँ बोल्नुभयो र सलहहरू, साह्रै नै धेरै सलहहरू आए ।
He hath said, and the locust cometh, And the cankerworm — innumerable,
35 सलहहरूले तिनीहरूका देशमा भएका सबै वनस्पतिहरू खाए । तिनीहरूले जमिनका सबै फसलहरू खाए ।
And it consumeth every herb in their land, And it consumeth the fruit of their ground.
36 तिनीहरूका देशमा भएका हरेक जेठा सन्तान, तिनीहरूका बलको पहिलो फललाई उहाँले मार्नुभयो ।
And He smiteth every first-born in their land, The first-fruit of all their strength,
37 उहाँले इस्राएलीहरूलाई सुन र चाँदीसहित हाबिर निकालेर ल्याउनुभयो । उहाँका कुलमध्ये कुनैले पनि बाटोमा ठेस खाएन ।
And bringeth them out with silver and gold, And there is not in its tribes a feeble one.
38 तिनीहरू निस्केर जाँदा मिश्रदेश खुसी थियो, किनकि मिश्रीहरू तिनीहरूसँग डराएका थिए ।
Rejoiced hath Egypt in their going forth, For their fear had fallen upon them.
39 उहाँले ढाक्नलाई बादल फिंजाउनुभयो र रातलाई उज्यालो पार्न आगो बाल्नुभयो ।
He hath spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to enlighten the night.
40 इस्राएलीहरूले खानेकुरा मागे र उहाँले बट्टाई चरा दिनुभयो र स्वर्गको रोटीले तिनीहरूलाई सन्तुष्ट पार्नुभयो ।
They have asked, and He bringeth quails, And [with] bread of heaven satisfieth them.
41 उहाँले चट्टानलाई चिरा पार्नुभयो र त्यसबाट पानी बगेर निस्क्यो । उजाडस्थानमा ती नदीझैं बगे ।
He hath opened a rock, and waters issue, They have gone on in dry places — a river.
42 किनकि उहाँले आफ्नो सेवक अब्राहामसँग गर्नुभएको आफ्नो पवित्र प्रतिज्ञालाइ सम्झिनुभयो ।
For He hath remembered His holy word, With Abraham His servant,
43 आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई आनन्दसाथ, उहाँका चुनिएकाहरूलाई जयजयकारको ध्वनिसँगै उहाँले डोर्याउनुभयो ।
And He bringeth forth His people with joy, With singing His chosen ones.
44 उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई जातिहरूका देश दिनुभयो । तिनीहरूले मानिसहरूका सम्पत्तिमाथि आफ्नो अधिकार जमाए,
And He giveth to them the lands of nations, And the labour of peoples they possess,
45 ताकि तिनीहरूले उहाँका आदेशहरू पालन गरून् र उहाँका व्यवस्थाहरू मानून् । परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर ।
That they may observe His statutes, And His laws may keep. Praise ye Jehovah!
