गन्ती 6

1 परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्‍नुभयो,

And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,

2 “इस्राएलका मानिसहरूलाई भन् । 'जब कुनै पुरुष वा महिलाले आफूलाई परमप्रभुको निम्ति नाजिरीको विशेष भाकलले अलग गर्छ,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman pronounce an especial vow, the vow of a Nazarite, to be abstinent in honor of the Lord:

3 त्यसले आफूलाई दाखमद्य र कडा मद्यबाट अलग राख्‍नुपर्छ । त्यसले दाखमद्य वा कडा मद्यबाट बनाइएको सिर्का पिउनुहुँदैन । त्यसले कुनै किसिमको दाखरस पिउनुहुँदैन अथवा ताजा वा सुकाएको दाख खानुहुँदैन ।

Then shall he abstain from wine and strong drink, vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink shall he not drink, and any infusion of grapes shall he not drink, and grapes, fresh or dried, shall he not eat.

4 त्यसले आफूलाई मेरो निम्ति अलग गरेका सबै दिनमा त्यसले दाखको बोक्राबाट बनाइएका सबै थोकलगायत दाखबाट बनाइएका कुनै पनि कुरा खानुहुँदैन ।

All the days of his abstinence shall he eat nothing that is made of the grape-vine, from the kernels even to the husk.

5 अलग हुने त्यसको समय अवधिभर परमप्रभुप्रति अलग रहने त्यसको भाकल पुरा नभएसम्म त्यसको शिरमा कुनै किसिमको छुरा प्रयोग गर्नुहुँदैन । त्यो परमप्रभुको निम्ति अलग हुनुपर्छ । त्यसले कपाललाई आफ्नो शिरमा लामो हुन दिनुपर्छ ।

All the days of the vow of his abstinence no razor shall pass over his head: until the days be completed, in which he abstaineth in honor of the Lord, shall he be holy, letting grow untouched the hair of his head.

6 त्यसले आफूलाई परमप्रभुको निम्ति अलग राखेको पुरै समयभरि त्यो मुर्दाको नजिक आउनुहुँदैन ।

All the days of his abstinence in honor of the Lord shall he not come near any dead body.

7 आफ्नै बुबा, आमा, दाजुभाइ, दिदीबहिनी मरे भने पनि त्यसले तिनीहरूका निम्ति पनि आफूलाई अशुद्ध पार्नुहुँदैन । सबैले त्यसको कपाल देख्‍न सक्‍नेजस्तै यो त्यसले आफूलाई परमेश्‍वरप्रति अलग गरेको कारणले हो ।

On his father, or on his mother, on his brother, or on his sister, shall he not make himself unclean, when they die; because the consecration of his God is upon his head.

8 त्यो अलग रहेको पुरै समयभरि त्यो पवित्र अर्थात् परमप्रभुको निम्ति आरक्षित हुन्छ ।

All the days of his abstinence is he holy unto the Lord.

9 यदि कोही त्यसको सामु अचानक मर्छ र त्यसले अर्पण गरेको शिरलाई अशुद्ध बनायो भने, त्यसपछि त्यसले शुद्धिकरणको दिनमा आफ्नो कपाल खौरनुपर्छ, त्यसले यसलाई सातौँ दिनमा खौरनुपर्छ ।

And if some one die very suddenly by him, and he thus defile his consecrated head: then shall he shave his head on the day of his being cleansed, on the seventh day shall he shave it.

10 त्यसले आठौँ दिनमा दुईवटा परेवा वा दुईवटा परेवाका बचेरा भेट हुने पालको प्रवेश-द्वारमा पुजारीकहाँ ल्याउनुपर्छ ।

And on the eighth day shall he bring two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

11 पुजारीले एउटा चरालाई पापबलिको रूपमा र अर्कोलाई होमबलिको रूपमा चढाउनुपर्छ । यिनीहरूले त्यसको पापको प्रायश्‍चित्त गर्ने छन्, किनभने मुर्दाको नजिक परेर त्यसले पाप गर्‍यो । त्यसले त्यस दिन आफ्नो शिर शुद्ध पार्नुपर्छ ।

And the priest shall prepare the one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, and make an atonement for him, because he hath sinned through the dead; and he shall hallow his head on that same day.

12 त्यसले आफ्नो शुद्धिकरणको दिनको निम्ति परमप्रभुको निम्ति आफूलाई अलग गर्नुपर्छ । त्यसले एक वर्षे थुमालाई दोषबलिको रूपमा ल्याउनुपर्छ । त्यसले आफूलाई अशुद्ध पारेका दिनहरू गन्‍नुहुँदैन, किनभने त्यसले अशुद्ध पार्‍यो ।

And he shall consecrate unto the Lord [again] the days of his abstinence, and he shall bring a sheep of the first year for a trespass-offering; but the prior days shall not be counted, because his consecration hath been defiled.

13 नाजिरीको अलग हुने समय पुरा हुनेको निम्ति नाजिरीको नियम यही हो । त्यसलाई भेट हुने पालको प्रवेश-द्वारमा ल्याउनुपर्छ ।

And this is the law of the Nazarite: On the day when the days of his abstinence are completed, shall he present himself at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation;

14 त्यसले आफ्नो बलि परमप्रभुलाई चढाउनुपर्छ । त्यसले एक वर्षको खोटरहित एउटा थुमालाई होमबलिको रूपमा चढाउनुपर्छ । त्यसले एक वर्षको खोटरहित पाठीलाई पापबलिको रूपमा चढाउनुपर्छ । त्यसले एउटा खोटरहित थुमालाई मेलबलिको रूपमा ल्याउनुपर्छ ।

And he shall bring his offering unto the Lord, one male sheep of the first year without blemish for a burnt-offering, and one ewe of the first year without blemish for a sin-offering, and one ram without blemish for a peace-offering,

15 त्यसले तिनीहरूका अन्‍नबलि र अर्घबलिसँगै एक डालो अखमिरी रोटी, तेलले मिसाएको फुरौलाहरू, तेल दलेको अखमिरी बाबरहरू ल्याउनुपर्छ ।

And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil; and their meat-offering, and their drink-offerings.

16 पुजारीले तिनीहरूलाई परप्रभुको सामु चढाउनुपर्छ । त्यसले आफ्ना पापबलि र होमबलि चढाउनुपर्छ ।

And the priest shall bring them near before the Lord, and he shall prepare his sin-offering, and his burnt-offering:

17 अखमिरी रोटीको डालोसँगै त्यसले थुमालाई बलि अर्थात् मेलबलिको रूपमा चढाउनुपर्छ । पुजारीले अन्‍नबलि र अर्घबलि पनि चढाउनुपर्छ ।

And the ram shall he prepare for a sacrifice of peace-offering unto the Lord, with the basket of unleavened bread; and the priest shall prepare his meat-offering and his drink-offering.

18 नाजिरीले आफू अलग रहेको सङ्केत गर्न भेट हुने पालको प्रवेश-द्वारमा आफ्नो शिर खौरनुपर्छ । त्यसले आफ्नो शिरको कपाल लिएर मेल बलिको आगोमा जलाउनुपर्छ ।

And the Nazarite shall shave at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation his consecrated head; and he shall take the hair of his consecrated head, and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace-offering.

19 पुजारीले थुमाको उमालेको कुम, अखमिरी रोटीको डालोबाट एउटा रोटी र अखमिरी बाबर लिनुपर्छ । त्यसले तिनीहरूलाई आफू अलग रेहेको सङ्केत गर्ने कपाल खौरेको नाजिरीका हातमा राख्‍नुपर्छ ।

And the priest shall take the shoulder of the ram when it is cooked, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and he shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after he hath shaved his consecrated [head].

20 पुजारीले तिनीहरूलाई डोलाइएको ह्याकुलो र पुजारीलाई दिइएको साप्रोसँगै पुजारीको निम्ति पवित्र हिस्सा परमप्रभुको सामु बलिको रूपमा डोलाउनुपर्छ । त्यसपछि नाजिरीले दाखमद्य पिउन सक्छ ।

And the priest shall make with them a waving before the Lord; it is a holy gift for the priest, together with the breast that was waved and the shoulder that was lifted up: and after that may the Nazarite drink wine.

21 नाजिरीको निम्ति नियम यही हो जसले आफू अलग हुनको निम्ति परमप्रभुको निम्ति आफ्नो बलिदानको भाकल गर्छ । त्यसले अरू जे दिन पनि, त्यसले भाकल गरेका कर्तव्यहरू अर्थात् नाजिरीको निम्ति नियमद्वारा दर्शाइएको प्रतिज्ञा पालन गर्नुपर्छ ।”

This is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed; his offering unto the Lord for his abstinence, besides that which he may be able to give: according to his vow which he may vow, so must he do in addition to what is required by the law of his abstinence.

22 फेरि परमप्रभुले मोशालाई बोल्नुभयो,

And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,

23 “हारून र त्यसका छोराहरूलाई भन् । 'तिमीहरूले इस्राएलका मानिसहरूलाई यसरी आशिष् दिनुपर्छ । तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूलाई यसो भन्‍नुपर्छ,

Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, Thus shall ye bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,

24 'परप्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई आशिष् दिनुभएको होस् र रक्षा गर्नुभएको होस् ।

The Lord bless thee, and preserve thee;

25 परमप्रभुले उहाँको मुहार तिमीहरूमाथि चम्काउनुभएको होस् र तिमीहरूप्रति कृपालु हुनुभएको होस् ।

The Lord make his face shine unto thee, and be gracious to thee;

26 परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूमाथि कृपादृष्‍टिले हेर्नुभएको होस् र तिमीहरूलाई शान्ति दिनुभएको होस् ।'

The Lord lift up his countenance unto thee, and give thee peace.

27 तिनीहरूले इस्राएलका मानिसहरूलाई मेरो नाउँ यसरी दिनुपर्छ । अनि म तिनीहरूलाई आशिष् दिनेछु ।

And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel: and I will bless them.
