नहेम्याह 7
1 पर्खालको काम सिद्धिएपछि जब मैले ढोकाहरूलाई तिनका आ-आफ्ना ठाउँमा लगाएँ, र द्वारपालहरूसाथै गायक-गायिकाहरू र लेवीहरू नियुक्त गरिए,
Now it happened, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the gatekeepers and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
2 मैले मेरा भाइ हनानी र किल्लाको निरीक्षण गर्ने हनानीलाई यरूशलेममाथिको जिम्मा सुम्पिदिएँ किनकि तिनी अरू धेरैभन्दा विश्वासयोग्य मानिस थिए, र परमेश्वरदेखि डराउँथे ।
that I put my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the commander of the fortress, in charge of Jerusalem; for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many.
3 मैले तिनीहरूलाई भनेँ, “घाम चर्को गरी नलागेसम्म यरूशलेमका मूल ढोकाहरू नखोल्नू । द्वारपालहरू पहरा बस्दा तिमीहरूले ढोकाहरू बन्दी गरी आग्ला लगाउनू । यरूशलेममा बस्नेहरूबाट केही पहरादारहरूलाई पहरा बस्ने ठाउँमा र केहीलाई चाहिँ तिनीहरूका आफ्नै घरको सामुन्ने राख्न नियुक्त गर्नू ।”
I said to them, "Do not let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun is hot; and while they stand guard, let them shut the doors, and you bar them: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, everyone in his watch, with everyone near his house."
4 अब सहरचाहिँ फराकिलो र विशाल थियो, तर त्यसभित्र केही मानिसहरू मात्र थिए, र अझसम्म कुनै पनि घरको पुनर्निर्माण भएको थिएन ।
Now the city was wide and large; but the people were few in it, and the houses were not built.
5 मेरा परमेश्वरले कुलीनहरू, अधिकृतहरू र मानिसहरूलाई तिनीहरूका परिवार-परिवार गरी नाउँ दर्ता गराउनका लागि भेला गराउन मेरो हृदयमा बोझ हालिदिनुभयो । मैले सुरुमा फर्केनहरूको वंशावलीको पुस्तक भेट्टाएँ जसमा यो कुरा लेखिएको थियो ।
My God put into my heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. I found the book of the genealogy of those who came up at the first, and I found written in it:
6 “राजा नबूकदनेसरको निर्वासनबाट जाने प्रान्तमा भएका मानिसहरू यिनै हुन् जसलाई तिनले बेबिलोनमा कैद गरेर लगेका थिए । तिनीहरू यरूशलेम र यहूदियामा आ-आफ्ना सहरहरूमा फर्के ।
These are the people of the province, who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and who returned to Jerusalem and to Judah, everyone to his city;
7 तिनीहरू यरुबाबेल, येशूअ, नहेम्याह, सरायाह, रेलयाह, मोर्दकै, बिल्शान, मिस्पार, बिग्वै, रेहूम र बानाहसँगै आएका थिए । इस्राएलका मानिसहरूको सङ्ख्या निम्न लिखित छ ।
who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
8 परोशका परिवारका २,१७२
The descendants of Parosh, two thousand one hundred seventy-two.
9 शपत्याहका परिवारका ३७२
The descendants of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy-two.
10 आराका परिवारका ६५२
The descendants of Arah, six hundred fifty-two.
11 येशूअ र योआबका घरानाबाट पहत-मोआबका परिवारका २,८१८
The descendants of Pahath-Moab, of the descendants of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred eighteen.
12 एलामका परिवारका १,२५४
The descendants of Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four.
13 जत्तूका परिवारका ८४५
The descendants of Zattu, eight hundred forty-five.
14 जक्कैका परिवारका ७६०
The descendants of Zaccai, seven hundred sixty.
15 बिन्नूईका परिवारका ६४८
The descendants of Bani, six hundred forty-eight.
16 बेबैका परिवारका ६२८
The descendants of Bebai, six hundred twenty-eight.
17 अज्गादका परिवारका २,३२२
The descendants of Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty-two.
18 अदोनीकामका परिवारका ६६७
The descendants of Adonikam, six hundred sixty-seven.
19 बिग्वैका परिवारका २,०६७
The descendants of Bigvai, two thousand sixty-seven.
20 आदीनका परिवारका ६५५
The descendants of Adin, six hundred fifty-five.
21 हिजकियाबाट आतेरका परिवारका ९८
The descendants of Ater, of Hezekiah, ninety-eight.
22 हाशूमका परिवारका ३२८
The descendants of Hashum, three hundred Twenty-eight.
23 बेजैका परिवारका ३२४
The descendants of Bezai, three hundred twenty-four.
24 हारीपका परिवारका ११२
The descendants of Jorah, one hundred twelve.
25 गिबोनका परिवारका ९५
The descendants of Gibbar, ninety-five.
26 बेथलेहेम र नतोपाका मानिसहरू १८८
The men of Bethlehem and Netophah, one hundred eighty-eight.
27 अनातोतका मानिसहरू १२८
The men of Anathoth, one hundred twenty-eight.
28 बेथ-अज्मावेतका मानिसहरू ४२
The men of Beth Azmaveth, forty-two.
29 किर्यत-यारीम, कपीरा र बेरोतका मानिसहरू ७४३
The men of Kiriath Jearim, Kephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred forty-three.
30 रामा र गेबाका मानिसहरू ६२१
The men of Ramah and Geba, six hundred twenty-one.
31 मिकमाशका मानिसहरू २२
The men of Michmas, one hundred and twenty-two.
32 बेथेल र ऐका मानिसहरू १२३
The men of Bethel and Ai, a hundred twenty-three.
33 अर्को नेबोका मानिसहरू ५२
The men of the other Nebo, fifty-two.
34 अर्को एलामका मानिसहरू १,२५४
The descendants of the other Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four.
35 हारीमका मानिसहरू ३२०
The descendants of Harim, three hundred twenty.
36 यरीहोका मानिसहरू ३४५
The descendants of Jericho, three hundred forty-five.
37 लोद, हादीद र ओनोका मानिसहरू ७२१
The descendants of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred twenty-one.
38 सेनाहका मानिसहरू ३,९३०
The descendants of Senaah, three thousand nine hundred thirty.
39 पुजारीहरू: (येशूअको वंशबाट) यदायाहका परिवारका ९७३
The priests: The descendants of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy-three.
40 इम्मेरका परिवारका १,०५२
The descendants of Immer, one thousand fifty-two.
41 पशहूरका परिवारका १,२४७
The descendants of Pashhur, one thousand two hundred forty-seven.
42 हारीमका परिवारका १,०१७
The descendants of Harim, one thousand seventeen.
43 लेवीहरू: होदबिया, बिन्नूई र कादमीएलका वंशबाट येशूअका परिवारका ७४
The Levites: the descendants of Jeshua, of Kadmiel, of the descendants of Hodaviah, seventy-four.

The singers: the descendants of Asaph, one hundred forty-eight.
45 द्वारपालहरू: शल्लूम, आतेर, तल्मोन, अक्कूब, हतीता, शोबैका परिवारहरूका जम्मा १३८
The gatekeepers: the descendants of Shallum, the descendants of Ater, the descendants of Talmon, the descendants of Akkub, the descendants of Hatita, the descendants of Shobai, one hundred thirty-eight.
46 मन्दिरका सेवकहरू: सीहा, हसूपा, तब्बाओत,
The Nethinim: the descendants of Ziha, the descendants of Hasupha, the descendants of Tabbaoth,
47 कोरेस, सीआ, पादोन,
the descendants of Keros, the descendants of Siaha, the descendants of Padon,
48 लेबाना, हगाबा, शल्मै,
the descendants of Lebana, the descendants of Hagaba, the descendants of Salmai,
49 हानान, गिद्देल, गहर,
the descendants of Hanan, the descendants of Giddel, the descendants of Gahar,
50 रायाह, रसीन, नकोदा,
the descendants of Reaiah, the descendants of Rezin, the descendants of Nekoda,
51 गज्जाम, उज्जा, पसेह,
the descendants of Gazzam, the descendants of Uzza, the descendants of Paseah.
52 बेजै, मोनिम, नेपुसीम,
The descendants of Besai, the descendants of Meunim, the descendants of Nephusim,
53 बक्बूक, हकूपा, हर्हुर,
the descendants of Bakbuk, the descendants of Hakupha, the descendants of Harhur,
54 बस्लूत, महीदा, हर्शा,
the descendants of Bazluth, the descendants of Mehida, the descendants of Harsha,
55 बर्कोस, सीसरा, तेमह,
the descendants of Barkos, the descendants of Sisera, the descendants of Temah,
56 नसीह, र हतीपाका परिवारहरू
the descendants of Neziah, the descendants of Hatipha.
57 सोलोमनका सेवकहरूका सन्तान: सोतै, सोपेरेत, पारीद,
The descendants of Solomon's servants: the descendants of Sotai, the descendants of Hassophereth, the descendants of Peruda,
58 याला, दर्कोन, गिद्देल,
the descendants of Jaalah, the descendants of Darkon, the descendants of Giddel,
59 शपत्याह, हत्तील, पोकेरेतहसेबायीम, र अमोनका परिवारहरू ।
the descendants of Shephatiah, the descendants of Hattil, the descendants of Pokereth Hazzebaim, the descendants of Amon.
60 मन्दिरका सेवकहरू र सोलोमनका सेवकहरूका सन्तानको सङ्ख्या जम्मा ३९२
All the Nethinim, and the descendants of Solomon's servants, were three hundred ninety-two.
61 तेल-मेलह, तेल-हर्शा, केरूब, आदोन र इम्मेर सहरबाट आएकाहरूले आफ्ना परिवारहरू इस्राएलको वंशबाट आएका हुन् भनी बताउन सकेनन् । यी हुन्:
These were those who went up from Tel Melah, Tel Harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer; but they could not prove their ancestral houses, nor their descent, whether they were of Israel:
62 दलायाह, तोबिया, र नकोदाका परिवारहरूका जम्मा ६४२
The descendants of Delaiah, the descendants of Tobiah, the descendants of Nekoda, six hundred forty-two.
63 पुजारीहरूबाट: होबायाहका परिवार, हक्कोसका परिवार, र बर्जिल्लैका परिवार (तिनले गिलादी बर्जिल्लैका छोरीहरूमध्ये एउटीलाई विवाह गरी तिनीहरूको नाउँ राखे) ।
Of the priests: the descendants of Hobaiah, the descendants of Hakkoz, the descendants of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
64 तिनीहरूले आफ्नो वंशावलीका अभिलेखहरू खोजे, तर तिनलाई फेला पारेनन् । त्यसैले तिनीहरूलाई अशुद्ध ठानी पुजारीको कामबाट निष्काशन गरियो ।
These searched for their genealogical records, but couldn't find them. Therefore were they deemed polluted and put from the priesthood.
65 पुजारीले ऊरीम र तुम्मीमसहित अनुमोदन नगरेसम्म तिनीहरूले पवित्र बलिदानका कुनै पनि थोक खान मिल्दैनथ्यो भनी राज्यपालले तिनीहरूलाई बताए ।
The governor said to them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, until there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.
66 सम्पूर्ण मानिसको सङ्ख्या ४२,३६० थियो ।
The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,
67 यीबाहेक तिनीहरूका नोकर-नोकर्नीहरू ७,३३७ जना थिए । तिनीहरूका २४५ जना गायक-गायिका थिए ।
besides their male servants and their female servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven: and they had two hundred forty-five singing men and singing women.
68 तिनीहरूका घोडाहरूको सङ्ख्या ७३६, खच्चर २४५,
Their horses were seven hundred thirty-six; their mules, two hundred forty-five;
69 ऊँट ४३५ र गधा ६,७२० थिए ।
their camels, four hundred thirty-five; their donkeys, six thousand seven hundred twenty.
70 परिवारका केही मुखियाहरूले कामको लागि दान दिए । राज्यपालले भण्डारमा १,००० सुनका सिक्का, ५० कचौरा र पुजारीहरूले लगाउने ५३० ओटा पोशाक दिए ।
Some from among the heads of ancestral houses gave to the work. The governor gave to the treasury one thousand darics of gold, fifty basins, and five hundred thirty priests' garments.
71 परिवारका केही कामकको निम्ति मुखियाहरूले भण्डारमा २०,००० सुनका सिक्का र २,२०० चाँदीका सिक्का दिए ।
Some of the heads of ancestral houses gave into the treasury of the work twenty thousand darics of gold, and two thousand two hundred minas of silver.
72 बाँकी मानिसहरूले २०,००० सुनका सिक्का, २,००० चाँदीका सिक्का र पुजारीले लगाउने ६७ ओटा पोशाक दिए ।
That which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand darics of gold, and two thousand minas of silver, and sixty-seven priests' garments.
73 यसरी पुजारीहरू, लेवीहरू, द्वारपालहरू, गायक-गायिकाहरू, केही मानिसहरू, मन्दिरका सेवकहरू र सारा इस्राएल तिनीहरूका आ-आफ्ना सहरहरूमा बसे । सातौँ महिनासम्ममा इस्राएलीहरू आ-आफ्ना सहरहरूमा बसिसकेका थिए ।”
So the priests, and the Levites, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinim, and all Israel, lived in their cities. When the seventh month had come, the children of Israel were in their cities.
