नहेम्याह 12

1 शालतिएलका छोरा यरुबाबेल र येशूअसँग फर्केर आएका पुजारीहरू र लेवीहरू यिनै हुन्‌:

These were the priests and Levites who came up with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and with Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,

2 सरायाह, यर्मिया, एज्रा, अमर्याह, मल्‍लूक, हत्तूश,

Amariah, Malluk, Hattush,

3 शकन्‍याह, रेहूम, मरेमोत,

Shecaniah, Rehum, and Meremoth.

4 इद्दो, गिन्‍नतोन, अबिया,

There were Iddo, Ginnethon, Abijah,

5 मियामीन, मदाहा, बिल्‍गा,

Mijamin, Moadiah, Bilgah,

6 शमायाह, योयारीब, यदायाह,

Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,

7 सल्‍लू, अमोक, हिल्‍कियाह र यदायाह । येशूअको समयमा पुजारीका अगुवाहरू र तिनीहरूका सहयोगीहरू यिनै थिए ।

Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, and Jedaiah. These were the leaders of the priests and their associates in the days of Jeshua.

8 लेवीहरू: येशूअ, बिन्‍नूई, कादमीएल, शरेबियाह, यहूदा र मत्तन्‍याह । मत्तन्‍याह आफ्‍ना सहयोगीहरूसँग धन्‍यवाद ज्ञापनका भजनहरूका जिम्‍मावाल थिए ।

The Levites were Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who was in charge of the thanksgiving songs, along with his associates.

9 तिनका सहयोगीहरू बक्‍बुक्‍याह र उन्‍नीचाहिँ सेवामा तिनीहरूका सामुन्‍ने उभिन्थे ।

Bakbukiah and Unni, their associates, stood opposite them during the service.

10 येशूअ योयाकीमका पिता थिए । योयाकीम एल्‍यासीबका पिता थिए । एल्‍यासीब योयादाका पिता थिए ।

Jeshua was the father of Joiakim, Joiakim was the father of Eliashib, Eliashib was the father of Joiada,

11 योयादा जोनाथनका पिता थिए, र जोनाथन यद्दूअका पिता थिए ।

Joiada was the father of Jonathan, and Jonathan was the father of Jaddua.

12 योयाकीमको समयमा यी पुजारीहरू आ-आफ्‍ना परिवारका मुखिया थिए: सरायाहका परिवारका मरायाह, यर्मियाका हनन्‍याह,

In the days of Joiakim these were the priests, the leaders of the families: Meraiah was the leader of Seraiah, Hananiah was the leader of Jeremiah,

13 एज्राका मशुल्‍लाम, अमर्याहका येहोहानान,

Meshullam was the leader of Ezra, Jehohanan was the leader of Amariah,

14 मल्‍लूकका जोनाथन, शकन्‍याहका योसेफ,

Jonathan was the leader of Malluk, and Joseph was the leader of Shebaniah.

15 हारीमका अदना, मरेमोतका हल्‍कै ।

Adna was the leader of Harim, Helkai the leader of Meremoth,

16 इद्दोका जकरिया, गिन्‍नतोनका मशुल्‍लाम,

Zechariah was the leader of Iddo, Meshullam was the leader of Ginnethon, and

17 अबियाका जिक्री, मिन्‍यामीन र मोदाहाका पिल्‍तै,

Zichri was the leader of Abijah. ... of Miniamin. Piltai was the leader of Moadiah.

18 बिल्‍गाका शम्‍मूअ, शमायाहका यहोनातान,

Shammua was the leader of Bilgah, Jehonathan was the leader of Shemaiah,

19 योयारीबका मत्तनै, यदायाहका उज्‍जी,

Mattenai was the leader of Joiarib, Uzzi was the leader of Jedaiah,

20 सल्‍लूका कल्‍लै, अमोकका एबेर,

Kallai was the leader of Sallu, Eber was the leader of Amok,

21 हिल्‍कियाहका हशब्‍याह, यदायाहका नतनेल ।

Hashabiah was the leader of Hilkiah, and Nethanel was the leader of Jedaiah.

22 एल्‍यासीब, योयादा, योहानान र यद्दूअका समयका लेवीहरूका परिवारहरू तथा पुजारीका मुखियाहरूका नाउँ फारसी राजा दाराको शासनकालमा लेखिएका थिए ।

In the days of Eliashib, the Levites Eliashib, Joiada, Johanan, and Jaddua were recorded as the heads of families, and the priests were recorded during the reign of Darius the Persian.

23 लेवी परिवारका मुखियाहरूका नाउँचाहिँ एल्‍यासीबका छोरा योहानानको पालासम्‍मै इतिहासको पुस्‍तकमा लेखिएका थिए ।

The descendants of Levi, their leaders of families were recorded in the book of the annals up to the days of Johanan son of Eliashib.

24 लेवीहरूका अगुवाहरू हशब्याह, शरेबियाह, कादमीएलका छोरा येशूअ र तिनीहरूका सहयोगीहरू, जो तिनीहरूका सामुन्‍ने खडा हुन्थे, र आ-आफ्नो पालोअनुसार परमेश्‍वरका जन दाऊदको आज्ञामुताबिक प्रशंसा गर्ने र धन्यवाद दिने गर्थे ।

The leaders of the Levites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua son of Kadmiel, with their associates, who stood opposite them to give praise and to give thanks, responding section by section, in obedience to the command of David, the man of God.

25 मत्तन्‍याह, बक्‍बुक्‍याह, ओबदिया, मशुल्‍लाम, तल्‍मोन र अक्‍कूबचाहिँ मूल ढोकानेर भएका भण्‍डार-कोठाहरूमा रक्षा दिने द्वारपालहरू थिए ।

Mattaniah, Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, and Akkub were gatekeepers standing guard at the storerooms by the gates.

26 तिनीहरूले येशूअका छोरा, योसादाकका नाति योयाकीमको पालोमा अनि राज्यपाल नहेम्याह र पुजारीसाथै शास्‍त्री एज्राको पालोमा सेवा गरे ।

They served in the days of Joiakim son of Jeshua son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor and of Ezra the priest and scribe.

27 यरूशलेमको पर्खालको अर्पणको बेलामा धन्यवाद ज्ञापन दिँदै अनि झ्याली, वीणा र सारङ्गी बजाउँदै आनन्दसाथ अर्पणको उत्सव मनाउन मानिसहरूले लेवीहरू जहाँसुकै बसेका भए तापनि तिनीहरूको खोजी गरे ।

At the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, the people sought out the Levites wherever they lived, to bring them to Jerusalem to celebrate the dedication with joy, with thanksgivings and singing with cymbals, harps, and with lyres.

28 यरूशलेम वरिपरिको जिल्ला र नतोपातीहरूका गाउँहरूबाट गायकहरू सँगै भेला भए ।

The fellowship of singers gathered together from the district around Jerusalem and from the villages of the Netophathites.

29 तिनीहरू बेथ-गिलगाल, गेबा र अज्मावेतका क्षेत्रहरूबाट पनि आए किनकि गायकहरूले यरूशलेमको वरिपरि आफ्ना लागि गाउँहरू बनाएका थिए ।

They also came from Beth Gilgal and from the fields of Geba and Azmaveth, for the singers had built for themselves villages around Jerusalem.

30 पुजारी र लेवीहरूले आ-आफूलाई शुद्ध पारे, अनि तिनीहरूले मानिसहरू, मूल ढोकाहरू र पर्खाललाई शुद्ध पारे ।

The priests and the Levites purified themselves, and then they purified the people, the gates, and the wall.

31 तब मैले यहूदाका अगुवाहरूलाई पर्खालको माथि जान लगाएँ, र धन्यवाद दिन मैले दुईवटा ठुला-ठुला गायन-झुण्ड नियुक्त गरेँ । एउटा झुण्ड दाहिनेतिर पर्खालमा फोहोर ढोकामा गयो ।

Then I had the leaders of Judah go up to the top of the wall, and I appointed two large choirs who gave thanks. One went to the right on the wall toward the Dung Gate.

32 होशयाह र यहूदाका आधा अगुवाहरूले तिनीहरूलाई पछ्याए,

Hoshaiah and half the leaders of Judah followed them,

33 अनि अजर्याह, एज्रा, मशुल्लाम,

and after them went Azariah, Ezra, Meshullam,

34 यहूदा, बेन्यामीन, शमायाह र यर्मिया तिनीहरूको पछि लागे ।

Judah, Benjamin, Shemaiah, Jeremiah,

35 साथै, तुरहीहरू बोकेर केही पुजाहारीहरूका छोराहरू र जकरिया, जो जोनाथनका छोरा, जो शमायाहका छोरा, जो मत्तन्‍याहका छोरा, जो मीकायाका छोरा, जो जक्‍कूरका छोरा, जो आसापका छोरा थिए, तिनीहरू पनि पछि लागे ।

and some of the priests' sons with trumpets, and Zechariah son of Jonathan son of Shemaiah son of Mattaniah son of Micaiah son of Zaccur son of Asaph.

36 त्यहाँ जकरियाका नातेदारहरू अर्थात् शमायाह, अज्रेल, मिललै, गिललै, माऐ, नतनेल, यहूदा र हनानी पनि परमेश्‍वरका जन दाऊदका साङ्गीतिक साधनहरू बोकेर आएका थिए । शास्‍त्री एज्रा सबैभन्दा अगाडि थिए ।

There also were Zechariah's relatives, Shemaiah, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God. Ezra the scribe was in front of them.

37 तिनीहरू फुहारा ढोकाबाट भएर दाऊदको सहरका सिँढीहरूबाट सिधै पर्खालमा उकालो चढ्ने बाटो भएर दाऊदको दरबार पार गरी पूर्वतिर अवस्थित पानी ढोकासम्मै गए ।

By the Fountain Gate they went straight up on the stairs of the city of David, by the stairway to the wall above David's palace, to the Water Gate on the east.

38 धन्यवाद दिनेहरूको अर्को गायन झुण्ड अर्को दिशामा गयो । मानिसहरूका आधा भागसँगै मैले तिनीहरूलाई पर्खालमा पछ्याएँ । यो झुण्ड भट्टिको बुर्जा भएर, चौडा पर्खालसम्म,

The other choir of those who gave thanks went in the other direction. I followed them on the wall with half the people, above the Tower of Ovens, to the Broad Wall,

39 र एफ्राइमको ढोका, येशना ढोका, माछा ढोका, हननेलको बुर्जा र सयको बुर्जादेखि भेडा ढोकासम्म गएपछि तिनीहरू गारदको ढोकामा अडिए ।

and above the Gate of Ephraim, and by the Old Gate, and by the Fish Gate and the Tower of Hananel and the Tower of the Hundred, to the Sheep Gate, and they stopped at the Gate of the Guard.

40 यसरी धन्यवाद दिनेहरूका यी दुवै गायन-झुण्ड परमेश्‍वरको मन्दिरमा आ-आफ्नो स्थानमा बसे, र म पनि अधिकारीहरूको आधा भागसँगै आफ्नो स्थानमा बसेँ ।

So both choirs of those who gave thanks took their place in the house of God, and I also took my place with half of the officials with me.

41 त्यसपछि पुजारीहरू एल्‍याकीम, मासेयाह, मिन्‍यामीन, मीकाया, एल्‍योएनै, जकरिया र हनन्‍याह तुरहीहरू बोकेर आ-आफ्नो स्थानमा बसे ।

Then the priests took their place: Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with the trumpets,

42 साथै, मासेयाह, शमायाह, एलाजार, उज्‍जी, येहोहानान, मल्‍कियाह, एलाम र एसेर पनि त्यहाँ थिए । गायकहरूले तिनीहरूका अगुवा यिज्रहियाहको निर्देशनमा गाए ।

and also Maaseiah, Shemaiah, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malchijah, Elam, and Ezer, and the singers made themselves heard and Jezrahiah was their leader.

43 त्यस दिन तिनीहरूले ठुला-ठुला बलिदानहरू चढाए, र आनन्द मनाए, किनकि परमेश्‍वरले तिनीहरूलाई बडो आनन्द मनाउन दिनुभएको थियो । स्‍त्रीहरू र बालबालिकाहरूले पनि आनन्द मनाए । यसरी यरूशलेमको आनन्द टाढा-टाढासम्म सुन्‍न सकिन्थ्यो ।

They offered great sacrifices that day, and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy. Also the women and the children rejoiced. So the joy of Jerusalem could be heard far away.

44 त्यस दिन भेटीहरू, अगौटे फलहरू र दशांशहरूका निम्ति भण्डार-कोठाहरूको जिम्मा लिन अनि लेवीहरू र पुजारीहरूका निम्ति व्यवस्थाले तोकेबमोजिम हिस्सा जम्मा गर्न मानिसहरू नियुक्त गरिए । सहरका नजिकका बस्तीहरूबाट काम गर्न हरेकलाई जिम्मा दिइएको थियो । किनकि यहूदा पुजारीहरू र लेवीहरूबाट प्रसन्‍न भए जो तिनीहरूका सामु खडा थिए ।

On that day men were appointed to be in charge of the storerooms for the contributions, the firstfruits, and the tithes, to gather into them the portions required by the law for the priests and for the Levites. Each was assigned to work the fields near the towns. For Judah rejoiced over the priests and the Levites who were standing before them.

45 दाऊद र तिनका छोरा सोलोमनको आज्ञामुताबिक तिनीहरूले आफ्ना परमेश्‍वरको सेवा र शुद्धिको सेवा गरे, अनि गायकहरू र द्वारपालहरूले पनि त्यसै गरे ।

They performed the service of their God, and the service of purification, and so did the singers and the gatekeepers, in keeping with the command of David and of Solomon his son.

46 किनकि धेरै पहिले दाऊद र आसापको समयमा गायकहरूका निर्देशकहरू थिए, र त्यहाँ परमेश्‍वरको निम्ति प्रशंसासाथै धन्यवाद ज्ञापन हुन्थ्यो ।

For long ago, in the days of David and Asaph, there were directors of singers, and there were songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.

47 यरुबाबेल र नहेम्याहको समयमा सारा इस्राएलले गायकहरू र द्वारपालहरूका लागि दैनिक हिस्सा दिन्थे । तिनीहरूले लेवीहरूका निम्ति भाग छुट्ट्याउँथे, र लेवीहरूले हारूनका सन्तानहरूका निम्ति भाग छुट्ट्याउँथे ।

In the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah, all Israel gave the daily portions for the singers and the gatekeepers. They set aside the portion that was for the Levites, and the Levites set aside a portion for the descendants of Aaron.
