मिका 6
1 अब परमप्रभु के भन्नुहुन्छ त्यो सुन, “उठ र आफ्नो विषयमा पर्वतहरूलाई बताओ; पहाडहरूले तिमीहरूको आवाज सुनून् ।
Hear ye now what the LORD saith: Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.
2 ए पर्वतहरू र पृथ्वीका बलिया जगहरू परमप्रभुको अभियोगलाई सुन । किनभने आफ्ना मानिसहरूको विरुद्ध परमप्रभुको एउटा अभियोग छ, र उहाँ इस्राएलको विरुद्ध न्यायलयमा लड्नुहुनेछ ।”
Hear, O ye mountains, the LORD'S controversy, and ye enduring rocks, the foundations of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with His people, and He will plead with Israel.
3 “मेरा मानिस हो, मैले तिमीहरूलाई के गरेको छु? मैले तिमीहरूलाई कसरी थकित पारेको छु? मेरो विरुद्धमा साक्षी देओ!
O My people, what have I done unto thee? And wherein have I wearied thee? Testify against Me.
4 किनभने मैले तिमीहरूलाई मिश्र देशबाट बाहिर ल्याएँ र दासत्वको घरबाट बचाएँ । मैले मोशा, हारून, र मिरियमलाई तिमीहरूकहाँ पठाएँ ।
For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of bondage, and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
5 मेरा मानिस हो, तिमीहरू शित्तीमदेखि गिलगालसम्म जाँदा, मोआबका राजा बालाकले कल्पना गरेका कुरा, र बओरको छोरो बालामले कसरी जवाफ दिएका थिए त्यो सम्झ, ताकि तिमीहरूले परमप्रभुका धार्मिक कामहरू जान्न सक ।”
O My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab devised, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him; from Shittim unto Gilgal, that ye may know the righteous acts of the LORD.
6 उच्च परमेश्वरकहाँ म निहुरिँदा, मैले परमप्रभुकहाँ के लैजाऊँ? के म उहाँकहाँ एक वर्षे बाछाहरूका होमबलि लिएर आऊँ?
'Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before Him with burnt-offerings, with calves of a year old?
7 के परमप्रभु हजारौँ भेडाहरुद्धारा, वा तेलका दश हजार नदीहरुद्धारा प्रसन्न हुनुहुन्छ? के मेरा अपराधहरूका निम्ति र मेरो आफ्नै पापको निम्ति मेरो जेठो छोरो, मेरो शरीरको फल चढाऊँ?
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?'
8 ए मानिस, उहाँले तँलाई जे असल छ त्यो, र तँबाट परमप्रभुले चाहनुभएको कुरा बताउनुभएको छ । न्यायपूर्ण काम गर, कृपालाई प्रेम गर, र आफ्ना परमेश्वरसँग नम्र भएर हिँड ।
It hath been told thee, O man, what is good, and what the LORD doth require of thee: only to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.
9 परमप्रभुको आवाजले सहरलाई एउटा घोषणा गर्दै छ - विवेकले तपाईंको नाउँलाई स्वीकार्दछ: “छडीलाई र त्यो ठाउँमा राख्नेलाई ध्यान देओ ।
Hark! the LORD crieth unto the city — and it is wisdom to have regard for Thy name — hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.
10 बेइमान दुष्टका घरानाहरूमा सम्पत्तिहरू छन्, र त्यहाँ झुटा कुराहरू छन्, जुन घृणास्पद छन् ।
Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?
11 यदि कसैले छलपूर्ण तराजू र कपटपूर्ण ढक प्रयोग गर्छ भने के मैले त्यसलाई निर्दोष मान्ने?
'Shall I be pure with wicked balances, and with a bag of deceitful weights?'
12 धनी मानिसहरू हिंसाले भरिएका छन्, त्यसका निवासीहरू झुट बोल्छन्, र तिनीहरूका मुखमा तिनीहरूका जिब्रा छलपूर्ण छन् ।
For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
13 यसैकारण म तिमीहरूलाई भयङ्कर रूपमा प्रहार गर्नेछु, र तिमीहरूका पापको कारण म तिमीहरूलाई उजाड बनाउनेछु ।
Therefore I also do smite thee with a grievous wound; I do make thee desolate because of thy sins.
14 तिमीहरूले खानेछौ तर तृप्त हुनेछैनौ; तिमीहरूको खालीपन तिमीहरूभित्रै रहनेछ । तिमीहरू वस्तुहरू संचय गर्नेछौ तर जोगाउनेछैनौ, र तिमीहरूले जे जोगाउँछौ, त्यो म तरवारलाई दिनेछु ।
Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy sickness shall be in thine inward parts; and thou shalt conceive, but shalt not bring forth; and whomsoever thou bringest forth will I give up to the sword.
15 तिमीहरूले छर्नेछौ तर कटनी गर्नेछैनौ । तिमीहरूले जैतूनको तेल निकाल्नेछौ तर त्यस तेलले आफैँलाई अभिषेक गर्नेछैनौ । तिमीहरूले दाख पेल्नेछौ तर मद्य भने पिउनेछैनौ ।
Thou shalt sow, but shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but shalt not anoint thee with oil; and the vintage, but shalt not drink wine.
16 ओम्रीका नियमहरू, र आहाबका घरानाका सबै कामहरू पालना भएका छन् । यसैकारण म तिमीहरूको सहरलाई भग्नावशेष बनाउनेछु, र त्यहाँका बासिन्दाहरूलाई खिसीको पात्रो बनाउनेछु, र मेरा मानिसहरूबाट तिमीहरूले निन्दा सहनेछौ ।”
For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I may make thee an astonishment, and the inhabitants thereof a hissing; and ye shall bear the reproach of My people.
