मिका 5
1 अब, ए सेनाहरूका छोरी, युद्धको निम्ति पङ्क्तिमा आओ, किनभने सेनाहरूले सहरको वरिपरि घेरा लगाएका छन्, र तिनीहरूले इस्राएलका न्यायकर्ताको गालामा छडीले हिर्काउनेछन् ।
Now gather thyself together, O daughter of troops, A siege he hath laid against us, With a rod they smite on the cheek the judge of Israel.
2 तर, बेथलेहेम एप्राता, तँ यहूदाका वंशहरूमा सानो भए तापनि, तेरै बिचबाट एक जना इस्राएलमा शासन गर्न मकहाँ आउनेछ, जसको सुरुवात प्राचीन समयदेखि, अर्थात् सदादेखि नै भएको थियो ।
And thou, Beth-Lehem Ephratah, Little to be among the chiefs of Judah! From thee to Me he cometh forth — to be ruler in Israel, And his comings forth [are] of old, From the days of antiquity.
3 यसैकारण प्रसववेदनामा भएकीले बच्चा नजन्माएसम्म, र त्यसका बाँकी रहेकाहरू इस्राएलका मानिसकहाँ नफर्केसम्म परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई त्याग्नुहुनेछ ।
Therefore he doth give them out till the time She who bringeth forth hath brought forth, And the remnant of his brethren return to the sons of Israel.
4 परमप्रभुको शक्ति, र परमप्रभु उहाँका परमेश्वरको नाउँको महिमामा उहाँ खडा भएर आफ्नो बगालको हेरचाह गर्नुहुन्छ । तिनीहरू बाँकी रहनेछन्, किनकि पृथ्वीको कुना-कुनासम्म उहाँको महानता रहिरहनेछ ।
And he hath stood and delighted in the strength of Jehovah, In the excellency of the name of Jehovah his God, And they have remained, For now he is great unto the ends of earth.
5 किनभने हाम्रो शान्तिचाहिँ यो हुनेछ - जब अश्शूरीहरू हाम्रो देशभित्र प्रवेश गर्नेछन्, र जब तिनीहरू हाम्रा किल्लाहरूतर्फ अगि बढ्छन्, त्यसबेला हामी तिनीहरूका विरुद्ध सात गोठाला र मानिसहरूमाथि आठ अगुवा खडा गर्नेछौँ ।
And this [one] hath been peace, Asshur! when he doth come into our land, And when he doth tread in our palaces, We have raised against him seven shepherds, And eight anointed of man.
6 तिनीहरूले अश्शूर देश र निम्रोदको देशलाई तिनीहरूको प्रवेशद्धारमा तरवारद्धारा नियन्त्रण गर्नेछन् । अश्शूरीहरू हाम्रो देशमा आउँदा, र तिनीहरू हाम्रो सिमानाभित्र अगि बढ्दा उहाँले हामीलाई तिनीहरूबाट बचाउनुहुनेछ ।
And they have afflicted the land of Asshur with the sword, And the land of Nimrod at its openings, And he hath delivered from Asshur when he doth come into our land, And when he treadeth in our borders.
7 याकूबका बाँकी रहेकाहरू धेरै जातिहरूका माझमा हुनेछन् । तिनीहरू परमप्रभुबाटको शीत, र घाँसमा पर्ने झरीझैँ हुन् जसले कुनै मानिस, वा मानिस जातिका सन्तानलाई पर्खंदैनन् ।
And the remnant of Jacob hath been in the midst of many peoples, As dew from Jehovah — as showers on the herb, That waiteth not for man, nor stayeth for the sons of men.
8 याकूबका बाँकी रहेकाहरू राष्ट्रहरू र जातिहरूका माझमा हुनेछन् । तिनीहरू जङ्गलका पशुहरूका बिचमा भएको एउटा सिंहझैँ, र भेडाहरूको बगालमा एउटा जवान सिंहझैँ हुन् । जब त्यो तिनीहरूका बिचबाट जान्छ, त्यसले तिनीहरूलाई कुल्चनेछ र तिनीहरूलाई टुक्रा-टुक्रा पार्नेछ, अनि तिनीहरूलाई बचाउने त्यहाँ कोही हुनेछैन ।
Yea, the remnant of Jacob hath been among nations, In the midst of many peoples, As a lion among beasts of a forest, As a young lion among ranks of a flock, Which if it hath passed through, Hath both trodden down and hath torn, And there is no deliverer.
9 तेरो हात तेरा शत्रुहरूका विरुद्ध उठ्नेछन् र त्यसले तिनीहरूलाई सर्वनाश गर्नेछ ।
High is thy hand above thine adversaries, And all thine enemies are cut off.
10 परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ, “त्यस दिन यस्तो हुनेछ । म तिमीहरूका बिचमा तिमीहरूका घोडाहरूलाई नाश गर्नेछु र तिमीहरूका रथहरू भत्काइदिनेछु ।
And it hath come to pass in that day, An affirmation of Jehovah, I have cut off thy horses from thy midst, And I have destroyed thy chariots,
11 तेरो भुमिका सहरहरूलाई म नाश गर्नेछु र तिमीहरूका गढीहरूलाई भत्काइदिनेछु ।
And I have cut off the cities of thy land, And I have thrown down all thy fortresses,
12 म तिमीहरूका बिचमा भएको तन्त्रमन्त्र नष्ट पार्नेछु, र तिमीहरूका बिचमा कोही पनि भविष्यवक्ताहरू हुनेछैनन् ।
And have cut off sorcerers out of thy hand, And observers of clouds thou hast none.
13 म तिमीहरूले हातले बनाएका मुर्तिहरू र तिमीहरूका ढुङ्गाका स्तम्भहरूलाई नाश गर्नेछु । अबदेखि तिमीहरूले आफ्ना हातले बनाएका वस्तुहरूलाई पुज्नेछैनौ ।
And I have cut off thy graven images, And thy standing-pillars out of thy midst, And thou dost not bow thyself any more To the work of thy hands.
14 म तिमीहरूका बिचबाट अशेराका खम्बाहरू उखेलिदिनेछु, र म तिमीहरूका सहरहरू नाश गर्नेछु ।
And I have plucked up thy shrines out of thy midst, And I have destroyed thine enemies.
15 मेरा कुराहरू नसुन्ने जातिहरूमा म रिस र क्रोधमा प्रतिशोद ल्याउनेछु ।”
And I have done vengeance in anger and in fury, With the nations who have not hearkened!
