मत्ती 8
1 जब येशू डाँडाबाट तल ओर्लनुभएको थियो, ठुलो भिडले उहाँलाई पछ्यायो ।
Nowe when he was come downe from the mountaine, great multitudes followed him.
2 हेर, एक जना कुष्ठरोगी उहाँको नजिक आयो र उहाँको अगि घोप्टो पर्यो, र भन्यो, “हे प्रभु, तपाईंले इच्छा गर्नुभयो भने, मलाई शुद्ध पार्न सक्नुहुन्छ ।”
And loe, there came a Leper and worshipped him, saying, Master, if thou wilt, thou canst make me cleane.
3 येशूले आफ्नो हात पसार्नुभयो र उसलाई छुनुभयो, र भन्नुभयो, “म चाहन्छु । तिमी शुद्ध होऊ ।” तब तुरून्तै आफ्नो कुष्ठरोगबाट ऊ शुद्ध भयो ।
And Iesus putting foorth his hand, touched him, saying, I will, be thou cleane: and immediatly his leprosie was clensed.
4 येशूले उसलाई भन्नुभयो, “हेर, कुनै पनि मानिसलाई केही नभन्नू । आफ्नो बाटो लाग; आफैँलाई पुजारीकहाँ प्रकट गराऊ र तिनीहरूको अगि गवाही होस् भनेर मोशाले आज्ञा गरेअनुसार भेटी चढाऊ ।”
Then Iesus saide vnto him, See thou tell no man, but goe, and shewe thy selfe vnto the Priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a witnesse to them.
5 जब येशू कर्फनहुममा प्रवेश गर्नुभएको थियो, एक जना कप्तान उहाँकहाँ आएर उहाँलाई सोधे,
When Iesus was entred into Capernaum, there came vnto him a Centurion, beseeching him,
6 “हे प्रभु, मेरो एक जना नोकर पक्षाघातले ग्रसित भएर घरमा पल्टिरहेको छ र ऊ भयानक पीडामा छ ।”
And saide, Master, my seruant lieth sicke at home of the palsie, and is grieuously pained.
7 येशूले तिनलाई भन्नुभयो, “म आएर उसलाई निको पार्नेछु ।”
And Iesus saide vnto him, I will come and heale him.
8 कप्तानले जवाफ दिए र भने, “प्रभु, तपाईं मेरो घरको छानामुनि आउनको निम्ति म योग्यको छैनँ । तपाईंले केवल वचन मात्र बोलिदिनुहोस् र मेरो नोकर निको हुनेछ ।
But the Centurion answered, saying, Master, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come vnder my roofe: but speake the worde onely, and my seruant shall be healed.
9 किनकि म पनि एउटा यस्तो मानिस हुँ जो अधिकारको मुनि राखिएको छु, र मेरो मुनि पनि सिपाहीहरू छन् । म एक जनालाई ‘जाऊ’ भन्छु र ऊ जान्छ, र अर्कोलाई ‘आऊ’ भन्छु र ऊ आउँछ, अनि मेरो नोकरलाई ‘त्यो गर’ भन्छु र उसले त्यो गर्छ ।”
For I am a man also vnder the authoritie of an other, and haue souldiers vnder me: and I say to one, Goe, and he goeth: and to another, Come, and he commeth: and to my seruant, Doe this, and he doeth it.
10 जब येशूले यो सुन्नुभयो, उहाँ छक्क पर्नुभयो र उहाँलाई पछ्याउनेहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “साँच्चै म तिमीहरूलाई भन्छु, इस्राएलमा पनि मैले यस्तो विश्वास भएको कोही पाएको थिइनँ ।
When Iesus heard that, he marueiled, and said to them that folowed him, Verely, I say vnto you, I haue not found so great faith, euen in Israel.
11 म तिमीहरूलाई भन्छु, धेरै जना पूर्व र पश्चिमबाट आउनेछन्, अनि तिनीहरू अब्राहाम, इसहाक र याकूबसँग स्वर्गीय राज्यको भोजमा बस्नेछन् ।
But I say vnto you, that many shall come from the East and West, and shall sit downe with Abraham, and Isaac, and Iacob, in the kingdome of heauen.
12 तर राज्यका छोराहरू बाहिर अन्धकारमा फालिनेछन्, जहाँ रुवाबासी र दाह्रा किटाइ हुनेछ ।”
And the children of the kingdome shall be cast out into vtter darkenes: there shalbe weeping and gnashing of teeth.
13 येशूले त्यस कप्तानलाई भन्नुभयो, “जाऊ । तिमीले विश्वास गरेजस्तै तिम्रो निम्ति गरियोस् ।” अनि त्यही घडी तिनको नोकर निको भयो ।
Then Iesus saide vnto the Centurion, Goe thy way, and as thou hast beleeued, so be it vnto thee, And his seruant was healed the same houre.
14 जब येशू पत्रुसको घरमा आउनुभयो, उहाँले पत्रुसकी सासू ज्वरोले बिरामी भई थला परिरहेकी देख्नुभयो ।
And when Iesus came to Peters house, he sawe his wiues mother layed downe, and sicke of a feuer.
15 येशूले तिनको हातमा छुनुभयो, अनि ज्वरोले तिनलाई छोड्यो । त्यसपछि तिनी उठिन् र उहाँको सेवा गर्न थालिन् ।
And he touched her hande, and the feuer left her: so she arose, and ministred vnto them.
16 जब साँझ पर्यो, मानिसहरूले भूतात्मा लागेका धेरै मानिसहरूलाई येशूकहाँ ल्याए । उहाँले एउटै वचनबाट भूतात्माहरूलाई बाहिर निकाल्नुभयो र सबै बिरामीलाई निको पार्नुभयो ।
When the Euen was come, they brought vnto him many that were possessed with deuils: and he cast out the spirits with his worde, and healed all that were sicke,
17 यसरी यशैया अगमवक्ताद्वारा भनिएको यस्तो वचन पुरा भयो, “उहाँ आफैँले नै हाम्रा बिमारीहरू लिनुभयो र हाम्रा रोगहरू वहन गर्नुभयो ।”
That it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by Esaias the Prophet, saying, He tooke our infirmities, and bare our sickenesses.
18 जब येशूले भिडलाई आफ्नो वरिपरि देख्नुभयो, उहाँले गालील समुद्रको अर्कोपट्टि जानको निम्ति निर्देशन दिनुभयो ।
And when Iesus sawe great multitudes of people about him, he commanded them to goe ouer the water.
19 त्यसपछि एक जना शास्त्री आएर उहाँलाई भने, “गुरुज्यू, तपाईं जहाँ जानुहुन्छ म तपाईंलाई त्यहीँ पछ्याउनेछु ।”
Then came there a certaine Scribe, and said vnto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoeuer thou goest.
20 येशूले तिनलाई भन्नुभयो, “स्यालहरूका दुला छन्, र आकाशका चराचुरूङ्गीहरूका गुँडहरू छन्, तर मानिसका पुत्रको त आफ्नो शिर राख्ने ठाउँ कहीँ छैन ।”
But Iesus saide vnto him, The foxes haue holes, and the birdes of the heauen haue nestes, but the Sonne of man hath not whereon to rest his head.
21 चेलाहरूमध्ये एक जनाले उहाँलाई भने, “प्रभु, पहिले मलाई गएर मेरो बुबालाई गाड्न दिनुहोस् ।”
And another of his disciples saide vnto him, Master, suffer me first to goe, and burie my father.
22 तर येशूले तिनलाई भन्नुभयो, “मलाई पछ्याऊ, र मुर्दाले नै मुर्दालाई गाड्न छोडिदेऊ ।”
But Iesus said vnto him, Followe me, and let the dead burie their dead.
23 जब येशू डुङ्गामा चढ्नुभएको थियो, उहाँका चेलाहरूले पनि उहाँलाई भित्रसम्म पछ्याए ।
And when he was entred into ye ship, his disciples followed him.
24 हेर, समुद्रमा प्रचण्ड आँधीबेहरी चल्यो, अनि त्यो डुङ्गा समुद्रको छालद्वारा छोपियो । तर येशू सुतिरहनुभएको थियो ।
And beholde, there arose a great tempest in the sea, so that the ship was couered with waues: but he was a sleepe.
25 चेलाहरू उहाँकहाँ आए र उहाँलाई यसो भनी उठाउन लागे, “हे प्रभु, हामीलाई बचाउनुहोस्, हामी मर्नै लागेका छौँ!”
Then his disciples came, and awoke him, saying, Master, saue vs: we perish.
26 येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “ए अल्पविश्वासीहरू, तिमीहरू किन डराउँछौँ?” त्यसपछि उहाँ उठ्नुभयो अनि आँधी र समुद्रलाई हकार्नुभयो । त्यसपछि त्यहाँ पुरै शान्ति छायो ।
And he said vnto them, Why are ye fearefull, O ye of litle faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea: and so there was a great calme.
27 ती मानिसहरू छक्क परे र भने, “उहाँ कस्तो मानिस हुनुहुन्छ, कि समुद्र र आँधीले पनि उहाँको आज्ञा मान्छन्?”
And the men marueiled, saying, What man is this, that both the windes and the sea obey him!
28 जब येशू समुद्रको पारिपट्टि र गदरिनीहरूको देशमा आउनुभएको थियो, दुई जना भूतात्मा लागेका मानिसले उहाँलाई भेटे । तिनीहरू चिहानबाट निस्केर आइरहेका थिए र धेरै हिंसात्मक थिए । त्यसकारण, त्यो बाटो भएर कोही पनि यात्रु जान सक्दैन थियो ।
And when he was come to the other side into ye countrey of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with deuils, which came out of the graues very fierce, so that no man might goe by that way.
29 हेर, तिनीहरूले ठुलो स्वरले कराए र भने, “हे परमेश्वरका पुत्र, तपाईंसँग हाम्रो के सरोकार? के तोकिएको समयभन्दा पहिले नै तपाईं यहाँ हामीलाई दुःख दिन आउनुभएको हो?
And beholde, they cryed out, saying, Iesus the sonne of God, what haue we to do with thee? Art thou come hither to tormet vs before ye time?
30 त्यहाँ नजिकै धेरै सुँगुरहरूको एउटा बथान चरिरहेको थियो ।
Nowe there was, afarre off from them, a great heard of swine feeding.
31 ती भूतात्माहरूले उहाँलाई बिन्ती गरिरहे र भने, “यदि तपाईंले हामीलाई बाहिर निकाल्नुहुन्छ भने, हामीलाई सुँगुरहरूको बथानमा पठाइदिनुहोस् ।”
And the deuils besought him, saying, If thou cast vs out, suffer vs to goe into the heard of swine.
32 येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “जा!” ती भूतात्माहरू बाहिर निस्के र सुँगुरहरूभित्र पसे । अनि हेर, सबै सुँगुर त्यो भिरालो पहाडको तल दौडे र समुद्रमा खसे अनि तिनीहरू पानीमा डुबेर मरे ।
And he said vnto them, Go. So they went out and departed into the heard of swine: and beholde, the whole heard of swine ranne headlong into the sea, and died in the water.
33 सुँगुरहरू चराइरहेका मानिसहरू त्यहाँबाट दौडेर गए । अनि जब तिनीहरू सहरमा गए, तिनीहरूले सबै कुरा बताइदिए, र विशेष गरी भूतात्मा लागेका मानिसहरूलाई के भएको थियो सो बताइदिए ।
Then the heardmen fled: and when they were come into the citie, they tolde all things, and what was become of them that were possessed with the deuils.
34 हेर, पुरै सहर येशूलाई भेट्न आयो । जब तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई देखे, तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई तिनीहरूको इलाका छोडेर त्यहाँबाट जान अनुरोध गरे ।
And beholde, all ye citie came out to meete Iesus: and when they sawe him, they besought him to depart out of their coastes.
