मर्कूस 8
1 ती दिनमा त्यहाँ फेरि एउटा ठुलो भिड भेला भयो, र तिनीहरूसँग खानको लागि केही थिएन । येशूले आफ्ना चेलाहरूलाई बोलाउनुभयो र तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो,
In those days, there being, again a large multitude, and they not having any thing to eat, calling near the disciples, he saith unto them—
2 “यो भिडमाथि मलाई दया लागेको छ, किनकि तिनीहरू मसँग निरन्तर तिन दिनसम्म रहेका छन् र तिनीहरूसँग कुनै खानेकुरा छैन ।
I am moved with compassion towards the multitude, because, already three days, abide they with me, and they have nothing to eat;
3 यदि मैले तिनीहरूलाई केही नखुवाईकन पठाएँ भने तिनीहरू बाटोमा मुर्छा पर्न सक्छन् । तिनीहरूमध्ये कोही धेरै टाढाबाट आएका छन् ।”
and, if dismiss them fasting unto their home, they will be exhausted in the way, —and, certain of them, are, from afar.
4 उहाँका चेलाहरूले उहाँलाई जवाफ दिए, “यस्तो निर्जन ठाउँमा यी मानिसहरूलाई तृप्त पार्न सक्ने पर्याप्त रोटी हामी कहाँ पाउन सक्छौँ?”
And his disciples answered him—Whence shall any one be able, here, to fill, these, with bread, in a desert?
5 उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई सोध्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूसँग कतिवटा रोटी छन्?” तिनीहरूले भने “सातवटा ।”
And he was questioning them—How many loaves have ye? and they said—Seven.
6 उहाँले भिडलाई भुइँमा बस्न आज्ञा दिनुभयो । उहाँले ती सातवटा रोटी लिनुभयो; धन्यवाद दिनुभयो; तिनलाई भाँच्नुभयो । उहाँले मानिसहरूका अगाडि राखून् भनी ती उहाँका चेलाहरूलाई दिनुभयो, र तिनीहरूले मानिसहरूका अगाडि राखिदिए ।
And he sendeth word to the multitude, to fall back upon the ground. And, taking the seven loaves, giving thanks, he brake, and was giving unto his disciples, that they might be setting before them; and they set before the multitude.
7 तिनीहरूसँग थोरै स-साना माछा पनि थिए । त्यसको लागि धन्यवाद दिनुभएपछि उहाँले त्यो पनि बाँडिदिन चेलाहरूलाई आज्ञा गर्नुभयो ।
And they had a few small fishes; and, blessing them, he bade them set, these also, before them.
8 तिनीहरूले खाए र अघाए । अनि तिनीहरूले खाएर उब्रेका सात टोकरी रोटीका टुक्रा-टाक्रीहरू बटुले ।
And they did eat, and were filled, and took up remainders of broken pieces, seven hampers.
9 त्यहाँ लगभग चार हजार जना पुरुष थिए । येशूले तिनीहरूलाई पठाउनुभयो ।
Now they were about four thousand; and he dismissed them.
10 त्यसपछि तुरुन्तै उहाँ चेलाहरूसँग डुङ्गामा चढ्नुभयो र दलमनुथाको क्षेत्रमा जानुभयो ।
And, straightway, entering into the boat with his disciples, he came into the parts of Dalmanutha;
11 तब फरिसीहरू आए, र उहाँसँग वादविवाद गर्न थाले । तिनीहरूले उहाँको जाँच गर्न उहाँसँग स्वर्गबाट एउटा चिन्ह मागे ।
and forth came the Pharisees, and began discussing with him, seeking of him, a sign from the heaven, testing him.
12 उहाँले आत्मामा सुस्केर हाल्नुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “यो पुस्ताले किन चिन्हको खोजी गर्छ? साँचो साँचो म तिमीहरूलाई भन्दछु, यो पुस्तालाई कुनै चिन्ह दिइनेछैन ।”
And, deeply sighing in his spirit, he saith—Why, doth this generation seek, a sign? Verily, I say—there shall, not be given, to this generation, a sign.
13 त्यसपछि उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई छोड्नुभयो, फेरि डुङ्गामा चढ्नुभयो र तालको अर्को भागतिर जानुभयो ।
And leaving them, again, embarking, he departed unto the other side.
14 अहिले चेलाहरूले तिनीहरूसँग रोटी ल्याउन बिर्सेका थिए । तिनीहरूसँग डुङ्गामा एउटाभन्दा बढी रोटी थिएन ।
And they forgot to take loaves, and, save one loaf, they had nothing with them in the boat.
15 उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई चेतावनी दिनुभयो, र भन्नुभयो, “फरिसी र हेरोदको खमिरदेखि सचेत रहो र होसियार बस ।”
And he began charging them, saying—Mind! beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod!
16 चेलाहरूले एक आपसमा बहस गरे, “हामीसँग रोटी नभएकोले हो ।”
And they began deliberating one with another, because they had no loaves.
17 येशू यसप्रति सजग हुनुहुन्थ्यो र उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूले रोटी नल्याएको विषयमा किन बहस गरिरहेका छौ? के तिमीहरू अझै महसुस गर्दैनौ? के तिमीहरू बुझ्दैनौ? तिमीहरूका हृदय यति बोधो भएका छन्?
And, taking note, he saith unto them—Why do ye deliberate, because ye have no, loaves? Not yet perceive ye, neither understand, —keep ye your hearts, hardened?
18 तिमीहरूसँग आँखा छन्, के तिमीहरू देख्दैनौ? तिमीहरूसँग कान छन्, के तिमीहरू सुन्दैनौ? के तिमीहरूले सम्झदैनौ?
Eyes having, see ye not? and ears having, hear ye not? and remember ye not
19 जब मैले पाँच हजारका सामु पाँच वटा रोटी भाँच्दा रोटीका कति टोकरी टुक्राहरू तिमीहरूले बटुलेका थियौ?” तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई भने, “बाह्र टोकरी ।”
when, the five loaves, I brake unto the five thousand, how many baskets, full of broken pieces, ye took up? They say unto him—Twelve, —
20 “अनि जब मैले चार हजारका बिचमा सातवटा रोटी भाँच्दा कति टोकरी तिमीहरूले बटुल्यौ?” तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई भने, “सात टोकरी ।”
When the seven, unto the four thousand, how many hampers, full measure, of broken pieces, ye took up? And they say unto him—Seven. And he was saying unto them—
21 उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “के तिमीहरू अझै पनि बुझ्दैनौ?”
Not yet, do ye understand?
22 उहाँहरू बेथसेदामा आउनुभयो । त्यहाँ मानिसहरूले एउटा दृष्टिविहीन मानिसलाई उहाँकहाँ ल्याए र त्यसलाई छोइदिनुहोस् भनी येशूसँग बिन्ती गरे ।
And they come into Bethsaida. And they bring unto him one blind, and beseech him that him, he would touch.
23 येशूले त्यस दृष्टिविहीनलाई हातमा समाउनुभयो, र गाउँबाहिर लैजानुभयो । जब उहाँले त्यसको आँखामा थुक्नुभयो, र त्यसमाथि आफ्नो हात राख्नुभयो, उहाँले त्यसलाई सोध्नुभयो, “के तिमीले कुनै कुरा देख्छौ?”
And, laying hold of the hand of the blind man, he brought him forth outside the village, and, spitting into his eyes, laying his hands upon him, he was asking him—Anything, seest thou?
24 त्यसले हेर्यो र भन्यो, “म मानिसहरू रुखहरूजस्तै हिँडेको देख्छु ।”
and, looking up, he was saying—I see men, because, like trees, I behold them walking
25 उहाँले फेरि आफ्नो हात त्यसका आँखामा राख्नुभयो, र त्यस मानिसले त्यसका आँखा खोल्यो अनि त्यसको दृष्टि पुनः प्राप्त भयो र त्यसले सबै थोक स्पष्टसँग देख्यो ।
Then again, put he his hands upon his eyes, and he saw clearly, and was restored, and was seeing distinctly, in broad splendour, all things together.
26 येशूले त्यसलाई त्यसको घर पठाउनुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “त्यस सहरमा नपस ।”
And he sent him away unto his house, saying—Not even into the village, mayest thou enter.
27 येशू आफ्ना चेलाहरूसँगै कैसरिया फिलिप्पीका गाउँहरूतिर जानुभयो । बाटोमा उहाँले आफ्ना चेलाहरूलाई सोध्नुभयो, “मानिसहरूले म को हुँ भन्छन्?”
And forth went Jesus and his disciples, into the villages of Caesarea of Philip. And, in the way, he was questioning his disciples, saying unto them—Who, are men saying that I am?
28 तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई जवाफ दिए, र भने, “बप्तिस्मा-दिने यूहन्ना । अरूहरूले, ‘एलिया’ र अरूले भने ‘अगमवक्ताहरूमध्ये एक’ भन्छन् ।”
And they answered him, saying—John the Immerser, and, others, Elijah, —and, others, One of the prophets.
29 उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई सोध्नुभयो, “तर तिमीहरूचाहिँ म को हुँ भन्छौ?” पत्रुसले उहाँलाई भने, “तपाईं ख्रीष्ट हुनुहुन्छ”
And, he, went on to question them—But, who, say, ye, that I am? Peter, answering, saith unto him—Thou, art, the Christ.
30 येशूले उहाँको विषयमा कसैलाई पनि नभन्नू भनी तिनीहरूलाई चेतावनी दिनुभयो ।
And he straitly charged them, that, no one, they should tell concerning him.
31 उहाँले मानिसका पुत्रले धेरै कुरा भोग्नुपर्छ, र धर्म-गुरुहरू, मुख्य पुजारीहरू र शास्त्रीहरूबाट तिरस्कृत हुनेछ, मारिनेछ र तिन दिनपछि फेरि मृत्युबाट जीवित भई उठ्नेछ भनी तिनीहरूलाई सिकाउन थाल्नुभयो ।
And he began to be teaching them—The Son of Man, must needs suffer many things, and be rejected by the Elders and the High-priests and the Scribes, —and be slain; and, after three days, arise.
32 उहाँले यो स्पष्टसँग भन्नुभयो । तब पत्रुसले उहाँलाई एकातिर लगे र उहाँलाई हपार्न थाले ।
And, openly, was he speaking the word. And Peter, taking him aside, began to rebuke him.
33 तर येशू आफ्ना चेलाहरूतिर फर्कनुभयो अनि पत्रुसलाई हप्काउनुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “मबाट पछि हट् शैतान! तैँले परमेश्वरको कुरालाई ख्याल गर्दैनस्, तर तैँले मानिसको कुरालाई ख्याल गर्छस् ।”
But, he, turning round and looking upon his disciples, rebuked Peter, and saith—Withdraw behind me, Satan! because thou art not regarding the things, of God, but the things, of men.
34 त्यसपछि उहाँले भिड र उहाँका चेलाहरूलाई सँगै बोलाउनुभयो, र तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “यदि कसैले मलाई पछ्याउन चाहन्छ भने, त्यसले आफैँलाई इन्कार गर्नुपर्छ, त्यसको क्रुस बोक्नुपर्छ र मलाई पछ्याउनुपर्छ ।
And, calling near the multitude with his disciples, he said unto them—If anyone willeth, after me, to come, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and be following me.
35 किनकि जसले आफ्नो जीवन बचाउन खोज्छ त्यसले त्यो गुमाउनेछ, र जसले मेरो र सुसमाचारको खातिर आफ्नो जीवन गुमाउँछ, त्यसले यसलाई बचाउनेछ ।
For, whosoever willeth, his own life, to save, shall lose it, but, whosoever shall lose his life for the sake [of me and] of the glad-message, shall save it;
36 मानिसले सारा संसार प्राप्त गरेर आफ्नै जीवन गुमायो भने उसलाई के लाभ हुन्छ र?
For, what doth it profit a man, to gain the whole world, and be made to forfeit his life?
37 मानिसले आफ्नो जीवनको बद्लामा के दिन सक्छ र?
For what can a man, give, in exchange for his life?
38 यस व्यभिचारी र पापी पुस्तामा जो म र मेरो वचनसँग शर्माउँछ, मानिसका पुत्र पनि पवित्र स्वर्गदूतहरूसँग पिताको महिमामा आउँदा त्यससँग शर्माउनेछ ।”
For, whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also, will be ashamed, of him, whensoever he shall come, in the glory of his Father, with the holy messengers.
