मर्कूस 10
1 येशू त्यो ठाउँ छोडेर यहूदियाको प्रान्त र यर्दन नदि पारिको क्षेत्रमा जानुभयो अनि भिड फेरि उहाँकहाँ आयो । उहाँले गर्नुभएझैँ उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई सिकाउँदै हुनुहुन्थ्यो ।
And departing thence, he cometh into the borders of Judaea, and to the other side of the Jordan; and multitudes again come together to him; and, as he was wont, he again taught them.
2 अनि फरिसीहरू उहाँलाई जाँच्न उहाँकहाँ आए र सोधे, “के कुनै पतिले आफ्नी पत्नीसँग विवाहविच्छेद गर्नु उचित हो?”
And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him whether it was lawful for a man to put away his wife, trying him.
3 उहाँले जवाफ दिनुभयो, “मोशाले तिमीहरूलाई के आज्ञा दिएका छन्?”
And he answering said to them, What did Moses command you?
4 तिनीहरूले भने, “मोशाले पत्नीलाई त्यागपत्र दिन र त्यसलाई पठाइदिन अनुमति दिए ।”
And they said, Moses permitted to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.
5 येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूका कठोर हृदयको कारण तिनले तिमीहरूका लागि यो व्यवस्था लेखेका हुन् ।”
And Jesus said to them, On account of your hardness of heart he wrote you this command.
6 तर सृष्टिको सुरुदेखि नै ‘परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई पुरुष र स्त्री बनाउनुभयो ।’
But, from the beginning of the creation, [[God]] made them male and female.
7 यही कारणले गर्दा पुरुषले आफ्ना बुबा र आमालाई छोडेर आफ्नी पत्नीसँग लागिरहन्छ,
“For this cause shall a man leave his father and his mother;
8 र दुई जना एउटै शरीर हुन्छन् ।’ त्यसैले, तिनीहरू दुई होइनन्, तर एउटै शरीर हुन् ।
and the two shall become one flesh.” So they are no longer two, but one flesh.
9 त्यसकारण, जसलाई परमेश्वरले एक पार्नुभएको छ, त्यसलाई कुनै मानिसले अलग नगरोस् ।”
What therefore God joined together, let not man put asunder.
10 उहाँहरू घरभित्र हुनुहुँदा चेलाहरूले उहाँलाई यसको बारेमा फेरि सोधे ।”
And in the house his disciples asked him again about this matter.
11 उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “जसले आफ्नी पत्नीसँग विवाहविच्छेद गर्छ र अर्की महिलासँग विवाह गर्छ, उसले त्यसको विरुद्धमा व्यभिचार गर्छ ।
And he saith to them, Whoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery against her.
12 र यदि तिनले आफ्नो पतीसँग विवाहविच्छेद गर्छ र अर्को पुरुषससँग विवाह गर्छ भने, त्यसले व्यभिचार गर्छ ।”
And if she put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
13 अनि उहाँले छोइदिनुभएको होस् भनी मानिसहरूले आफ्ना स-साना बालबालिकाहरूलाई उहाँकहाँ ल्याए, तर चेलाहरूले तिनीहरूलाई हप्काए ।
And they brought children to him, that he might touch them; and the disciples rebuked those that brought them.
14 तर जब येशूले यो देख्नुभयो, उहाँ तिनीहरूसँग रिसाउनुभयो र तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “स-साना बालबालिकाहरूलाई मकहाँ आउन देओ, र तिनीहरूलाई मनाही नगर, किनभने परमेश्वरको राज्य यस्तैहरूको हो ।”
But Jesus seeing it was much displeased, and said to them, Suffer the children to come to me; forbid them not; for to such belongeth the kingdom of God.
15 साँचो साँचो, म तिमीहरूलाई भन्दछु, जसले परमेश्वरको राज्यलाई यो सानो बालकको रूपमा ग्रहण गर्दैन, त्यो निश्चय नै यसभित्र प्रवेश गर्नेछैन ।”
Truly do I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a child, will not enter therein.
16 त्यसपछि उहाँले बालबालिकाहरूलाई आफ्नो अङ्गालोमा लिनुभयो र तिनीहरूमाथि आफ्नो हातमा लिएर आशिष् दिनुभयो ।
And he took them in his arms, and blessed them, laying his hands upon them.
17 उहाँले यात्रा सुरु गर्न लाग्नुहुँदा एक जना मानिस दौडेर आई उहाँको सामु घुँडा टेकेर बिन्ती गर्यो, “हे असल गुरु, अनन्त जीवनको हकदार हुन मैले के गर्नुपर्छ?” (aiōnios g166)
And as he was going out into the way, a certain one running up and kneeling to him, asked him, Good teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit everlasting life? (aiōnios g166)
18 येशूले भन्नुभयो, “किन तिमी मलाई असल भन्दछौ? परमेश्वरबाहेक कोही पनि असल छैन ।
And Jesus said to him, Why dost thou call me good? None is good but one, that is, God.
19 तिमी यी आज्ञाहरू जान्दछौः हत्या नगर्नू, व्यभिचार नगर्नू, चोरी नगर्नू, झुटो गवाही नदिनू, ठगी नगर्नू, आफ्ना बुबा र आमालाई आदर गर्नू ।”
Thou knowest the commandments, “Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honor thy father and thy mother.”
20 त्यो मानिसले भन्यो, “गुरुज्यू, ती सबै त मैले बाल्यकालदेखि नै पालन गरेको छु ।”
And he said to him, Teacher, all these have I kept from my youth.
21 येशूले त्यसलाई हेर्नुभयो र प्रेम गर्नुभयो । उहाँले त्यसलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीमा एउटा कुराको कमी छ । तिमीले आफूसँग भएका सबै थोक बेच्नुपर्छ र ती गरिबहरूलाई दिनुपर्छ, अनि स्वर्गमा तिम्रो धन हुनेछ । त्यसपछि आऊ र मेरो पछि लाग ।”
And Jesus looking at him, loved him, and said to him, One thing thou lackest; go, sell whatever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.
22 तर यो भनाइको कारण त्यो निरुत्साहित भयो; त्यो धेरै दुःखित भएर त्यहाँबाट गयो, किनभने त्यससँग धेरै धन सम्पत्ति थियो ।
But his countenance fell at that saying, and he went away sorrowful; for he had great possessions.
23 येशूले वरिपरि हेर्नुभयो र आफ्ना चेलाहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “धनी मानिसहरूलाई परमेश्वरको राज्यमा प्रवेश गर्न अति कठिन छ!”
And Jesus, looking round, saith to his disciples, How hardly shall they who have riches enter the kingdom t of God!
24 चेलाहरू उहाँका वचनहरूमा छक्क परे । तर येशूले फेरि तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “बालकहरू हो, परमेश्वरको राज्यमा प्रवेश गर्नु अति गाह्रो छ!”
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answering again saith to them, Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!
25 धनी मानिसलाई परमेश्वरको राज्यमा प्रवेश गर्नुभन्दा त ऊँटलाई सियोको नाथ्रीबाट छिर्न सजिलो हुन्छ ।”
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
26 तिनीहरू अति चकित भए र एक-आपसमा भन्न लागे, “त्यसो हो भने, कसले उद्धार पाउन सक्छ त?”
And they were beyond measure astonished, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
27 येशूले तिनीहरूलाई हेर्नुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “मानिसहरूका लागि यो असम्भव हुन्छ, तर परमेश्वरको लागि होइन । परमेश्वरको निम्ति सबै कुरा सम्भव छ ।”
Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.
28 पत्रुसले उहाँसँग कुरा गर्न थाले, “हेर्नुस्, हामीले सबै थोक त्यागेर तपाईंलाई पछ्याएका छौँ ।”
Peter began to say to him, Lo! we left all, and have followed thee.
29 येशूले भन्नुभयो, “साँचो साँचो म तिमीहरूलाई भन्दछु, जसले मेरो र सुसमाचारको खातिर आफ्नो घर वा दाजुभाइहरू वा दिदी बहिनीहरू वा आमा वा बुबा वा छोरा-छोरीहरू वा जग्गा जमिन त्याग्छ,
Jesus said, Truly do I say to you, There is no one who hath left house, or brothers, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for the sake of me and of the glad tidings,
31 तर धरै जना जो पहिला हुनेहरू पछिल्ला हुनेछन् र पछिल्ला हुनेहरू पहिला हुनेछन् ।”
But many who are first will be last; and the last first.
32 उहाँहरू यरूशलेम जाने बाटोमा जाँदै हुनुहुन्थ्यो, र येशू तिनीहरूका अगि-अगि जाँदै हुनुहुन्थ्यो । चेलाहरू छक्क परिरहेका थिए र तिनीहरूलाई पछ्यानेहरूचाहिँ डराएका थिए । अनि येशूले फेरि ती बाह्र जनालाई अलग्गै लानुभयो र आब चाँडै उहाँलाई के हुने थियो, सो बताउन थाल्नुभयो ।
And they were on the road, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was leading the way; and they were amazed, and they that followed were afraid. And again taking the twelve aside, he began to tell them what things were about to befall him:
33 “हेर, हामी यरूशलेमतिर जाँदै छौँ, र मानिसका पुत्रलाई त्यहाँ मुख्य पुजारीहरू र शास्त्रीहरूका हातमा सुम्पिनेछ । तिनीहरूले उसलाई मृत्यदण्डको दोष लगाउनेछन् र गैरयहूदीहरूकहाँ सुम्पिदिनेछन् ।
Lo! we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man will be delivered up to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn him to death, and deliver him up to the gentiles;
34 तिनीहरूले उसको गिल्ला गर्नेछन्, र थुक्नेछन् र कोर्रा लगाउनेछन् र मृत्युमा पुर्याउनेछन् । तर तिन दिनपछि ऊ जीवित भई उठ्नेछ ।”
and they will mock him, and spit upon him, and scourge him, and put him to death; and after three days he will rise again.
35 जब्दियाका छोराहरू याकूब र यूहन्ना उहाँकहाँ आए र उहाँलाई भने, “गुरुज्यू, हामीले तपाईंसँग जे माग्छौँ सो हाम्रो निम्ति गरिदिनुहोस् भन्ने हामी चाहन्छौँ ।”
And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come to him, saying to him, Teacher, we would that thou shouldst do for us whatever we shall ask thee.
36 उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “मैले तिमीहरूका लागि के गरेको तिमीहरू चाहन्छौ?”
And he said to them, What would ye that I should do for you?
37 तिनीहरूले भने, “तपाईंको महिमामा हामीमध्ये एउटालाई तपाईंको दायाँपट्टि र अर्कोलाई बायाँपट्टि बस्न दिनुहोस् ।”
And they said to him, Grant to us that we may sit, one on thy right hand and one on thy left, in thy glory.
38 तर येशूले तिनीहरूलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो, “तिमीहरूले के मागिरहेका छौ, सो तिमीहरू जान्दैनौ । के तिमीहरू मैले पिउन लागेको कचौरा पिउन सक्छौ वा मैले लिने बप्तिस्मा तिमीहरू सहन सक्छौ?”
But Jesus said to them, Ye know not what ye ask. Can ye drink the cup that I drink, or be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
39 तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई भने, “हामी सक्छौँ ।” येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “मैले पिउने कचौरा तिमीहरूले पिउनेछौ । र मैले लिने बप्तिस्मा तिमीहरूले पनि लिनेछौ ।
And they said to him, We can. And Jesus said to them, Ye will drink the cup that I drink, and ye will be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with;
40 तर मेरो दाहिनेपट्टि वा देब्रेपट्टि बस्नुचाहिँ मैले दिने कुरा होइन, तर यो जसको निम्ति तयार पारिएको छ, तिनीहरूका निम्ति नै हो ।”
but to sit on my right hand or on my left is not mine to give, but it will be given to those for whom it hath been prepared.
41 जब अरू दस जना चेलाले यसबारे सुने, तिनीहरू याकूब र यूहन्नासँग निकै रिसाउन थाले ।
And the ten hearing it began to be much displeased with James and John.
42 येशूले तिनीहरूलाई आफूकहाँ बोलाउनुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “गैरयहूदीहरूका शासकहरू मानिनेहरूले तिनीहरूमाथि प्रभुत्व जमाउँछन्, र तिनीहरूका महत्त्वपूर्ण मानिसहरूले तिनीहरूमाथि अधिकार गर्छन् भन्ने तिमीहरू जान्दछौ ।
And Jesus, calling them to him, saith to them, Ye know that they who are accounted to rule over the nations lord it over them, and their great men exercise a strict authority over them.
43 तर तिमीहरूका माझमा यस्तो हुनेछैन । तिमीहरूका माझमा जो महान् हुने इच्छा गर्छ, त्यो तिमीहरूका सेवक हुनुपर्छ ।
But it is not so among you; but whoever desireth to become great among you, will be your minister;
44 र तिमीहरूमध्ये जो पहिलो हुने इच्छा गर्छ, त्यो सबैको दास हुनुपर्छ ।
and whoever of you desireth to become first, will be servant of all;
45 किनभने मानिसका पुत्र सेवा पाउन होइन, तर सेवा गर्नका निम्ति र धेरैको छुटकाराको मोलको रूपमा आफ्नो जीवन दिन आयो ।
for even the Son of man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
46 उहाँहरू यरीहोमा आउनुभयो । र उहाँ आफ्ना चेलाहरू र ठुलो भिडसँगै यरीहोबाट जानुहुँदा तिमैको छोरा बारतिमै दृष्टिविहीन भिखारी बाटोमा बसेको थियो ।
And they come to Jericho; and as he was going out of Jericho with his disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the wayside.
47 जब त्यसले येशू नासरी भन्ने सुने, त्यो कराउन थाल्यो र भन्यो, “हे येशू, दाऊदका पुत्र, ममाथि दया गर्नुहोस्!”
And hearing that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, Son of David, Jesus, have pity on me!
48 धेरैले चुप लाग भनी त्यो दृष्टिविहीन मानिसलाई हप्काए । तर त्यो झन् ठुलो स्वरले करायो, “दाऊदका पुत्र, ममाथि दया गर्नुहोस् ।”
And many sharply bade him be silent; but he cried out the more, Son of David, have pity on me!
49 येशू रोकिनुभयो र त्यसलाई बोलाएर ल्याउन आज्ञा दिनुभयो । तिनीहरूले यसो भनेर त्यसलाई बोलाए, “साहस गर! खडा होऊ! उहाँले तिमीलाई बोलाउँदै हुनुहुन्छ ।”
And Jesus stopped, and said, Call him. And they call the blind man, saying to him, Be of good courage, rise, he calleth thee.
50 त्यसले आफ्नो खास्टो एकातिर फाल्यो, र उफ्रेर येशूकहाँ आयो ।
And throwing off his garment, he leaped up, and came to Jesus.
51 येशूले त्यसलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “मैले तिम्रो निम्ति के गरेको चाहन्छौ?” त्यो दृष्टिविहीन मानिसले भन्यो, “रब्बी, म मेरो दृष्टि प्राप्त गर्न चाहन्छु ।”
And Jesus answering said to him, What dost thou wish me to do for thee? The blind man said to him, My master, to restore my sight.
52 येशूले त्यसलाई भन्नुभयो, “जाऊ! तिम्रो विश्वासले तिमीलाई निको पारेको छ ।” त्यो तुरुन्तै फेरि देख्न सक्यो र त्यो उहाँको पछिपछि गयो ।
And Jesus said to him, Go; thy faith hath saved thee. And he immediately received his sight, and followed him on the road.
