मलाकी 3
1 “हेर, म आफ्नो समाचारवाहक पठाउँदै छु, र तिनले मेरो अगि बाटो तयार पार्नेछन् । अनि तिमीहरूले खोजेका प्रभु एक्कासी आफ्नो मन्दिरमा आउनेछन् । करारका समाचारवाहक जसमा तिमीहरू रमाहट गर्दछौ, हेर, तिनी आउनेछन्,” सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ।
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord whom ye seeke, shall speedely come to his Temple: euen the messenger of the couenant whom ye desire: beholde, he shall come, sayth the Lord of hostes.
2 तर उहाँको आगमनको दिन कसले सहन सक्छ र? उहाँ आउनुहुँदा को खडा हुन सक्छ र? किनभने उहाँ सुनारको आगो र धोबीको साबूनझैँ हुनुहुनेछ ।
But who may abide the day of his comming? and who shall endure, when he appeareth? for he is like a purging fire, and like fullers sope.
3 उहाँ चाँदी खार्ने र सफा गर्नेझैँ गरी बस्नुहुनेछ, र उहाँले लेवीका छोराहरूलाई शुद्ध पार्नुहुनेछ । उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई सुन र चाँदीलाई झैँ खार्नुहुनेछ, र तिनीहरूले धार्मिकताका भेटीहरू परमप्रभुकहाँ ल्याउनेछन् ।
And he shall sit downe to trye and fine the siluer: he shall euen fine the sonnes of Leui and purifie them as golde and siluer, that they may bring offerings vnto the Lord in righteousnesse.
4 त्यसपछि यहूदा र यरूशलेमको भेटी, पुराना दिनमा झैँ, र प्राचीन वर्षहरूमा झैँ परमप्रभुको निम्ति प्रसन्न तुल्याउने किसिमको हुनेछ ।
Then shall the offerings of Iudah and Ierusalem be acceptable vnto the Lord, as in old time and in the yeeres afore.
5 “अनि न्यायको निम्ति म तिमीहरूको नजिक आउनेछु । टुनामुना गर्नेहरू, व्यभिचारीहरू, झुटा साक्षी दिनेहरू, ज्यालादारीमा काम गर्ने श्रमिक, विधवा र टुहुरा-टुहुरीलाई दमन गर्नेहरू, परदेशीहरूलाई सहायता नगर्नेहरू, र मलाई आदर नगर्नेहरूका विरुद्ध म नै साक्षी हुनेछु,” सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ।
And I will come neere to you to iudgement, and I will be a swift witnesse against the southsayers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that wrongfully keepe backe the hirelings wages, and vexe the widowe, and the fatherlesse, and oppresse the stranger, and feare not me, sayth the Lord of hostes.
6 “किनभने म, परमप्रभु परिवर्तन भएको छैनँ, यसैकारण याकूबका सन्तान हो, तिमीहरू नष्ट भएका छैनौ ।
For I am the Lord: I change not, and ye sonnes of Iaakob are not consumed.
7 तिमीहरूका पिता-पुर्खाका समयदेखि नै तिमीहरू मेरा आज्ञाहरूबाट टाढा गएका छौ र ती पालना गरेका छैनौ । मकहाँ फर्क र म तिमीहरूकहाँ फर्कनेछु,” सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ । “तर तिमीहरू भन्छौ, ‘हामी कसरी फर्कने?’
From the dayes of your fathers, ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and haue not kept them: returne vnto me, and I will returne vnto you, saith the Lord of hostes: but ye saide, Wherein shall we returne?
8 के कुनै मानिसले परमेश्वरलाई लुट्छ? तर तिमीहरूले मलाई लुटिरहेका छौ । तर तिमीहरू भन्छौ, ‘हामीले कसरी तपाईंलाई लुटेका छौँ?’ दशांश र भेटीमा ।
Will a man spoyle his gods? yet haue ye spoyled me: but ye say, Wherein haue we spoyled thee? In tithes, and offerings.
9 तिमीहरू श्रापित भएका छौ, किनभने तिमीहरू सारा जातिले मलाई लुटिरहेका छौ ।
Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye haue spoyled me, euen this whole nation.
10 भण्डारमा पूर्ण दशांश ल्याओ, ताकि मेरो भवनमा भोजन होस्, र मैले स्वर्गका ढोकाहरू खोलेर तिमीहरूकहाँ राख्ने ठाउँ नहुनेसम्म गरी तिमीहरूमाथि आशिष् खन्याउँछु, कि खन्याउँदिन, यसमा मलाई जाँचेर हेर,” सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ।
Bring ye all the tythes into the storehouse that there may be meate in mine House, and proue me nowe herewith, sayeth the Lord of hostes, if I will not open the windowes of heauen vnto you, and powre you out a blessing without measure.
11 “तिमीहरूका बालीहरू नष्ट गर्नेहरूको विरुद्ध म बोल्नेछु, ताकि तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूका भूमिको जम्मै फसल नष्ट नगरून् । भूमिका तिमीहरूका दाखको बोटले आफ्ना फल गुमाउनेछैनन्,” सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ।
And I will rebuke the deuourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruite of your grounde, neither shall your vine be baren in the fielde, sayeth the Lord of hostes.
12 “सारा जातिहरूले तिमीहरूलाई आशिषित् भन्नेछन्, किनभने तिमीहरू रमाहटको देश हुनेछौ,” सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ।
And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a pleasant lande, sayeth the Lord of hostes.
13 “मेरो विरूद्ध तिमीहरूका वचन कडा भएका छन्,” परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ । “तर तिमीहरू भन्छौ, ‘हामीहरूले हाम्रो बिचमा तपाईंको विरुद्ध के भनेका छौँ?’
Your wordes haue bene stout against me, sayeth the Lord: yet ye say, What haue we spoken against thee?
14 तिमीहरूले भनेका छौ, ‘परमेश्वरको सेवा गर्नु व्यर्थ छ । हामीले उहाँले भनेअनुसार गरेर वा सेनाहरूहरूका परमप्रभुको अगि विलाप गर्दै हिँडेर हामीलाई के लाभ?
Ye haue saide, It is in vaine to serue God: and what profite is it that we haue kept his commandement, and that we walked humbly before the Lord of hostes?
15 यसैकारण अब हामी हठीहरूलाई नै आशिषित् भन्छौँ । दुष्ट काम गर्नेहरू सफल मात्र हुँदैनन्, तर तिनीहरूले परमेश्वरलाई जाँच गरेर उम्कन्छन् ।’”
Therefore wee count the proude blessed: euen they that worke wickednesse, are set vp, and they that tempt God, yea, they are deliuered.
16 अनि परमप्रभुको भय मान्नेहरू एक-आपसमा बोले । परमप्रभुले ध्यान दिनुभयो र सुन्नुभयो, र परमप्रभुको भय मान्ने र उहाँको नाउँलाई आदर गर्नेहरूका विषयमा उहाँकै सामु सम्झनाको पुस्तक लेखियो ।
Then spake they that feared the Lord, euery one to his neighbour, and the Lord hearkened and heard it, and a booke of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought vpon his Name.
17 “मैले काम गर्ने दिनमा, तिनीहरू मेरा हुनेछन्, मेरो आफ्नै धन-सम्पत्ति हुनेछन्,” सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ । बुबाको सेवा गर्ने छोरोमाथि त्यो बुबाले दया देखाएझैँ, म तिनीहरूमाथि दया देखाउनेछु ।
And they shall be to me, sayeth the Lord of hostes, in that day that I shall do this, for a flocke, and I will spare them, as a man spareth his owne sonne that serueth him.
18 अनि फेरि एकपटक तिमीहरूले धर्मी र दुष्ट बिच भिन्नता गर्नेछौ, तिनीहरूबिच जसले परमेश्वरको आराधना गर्छन् र जसले उहाँको आराधना गर्दैनन् ।
Then shall you returne, and discerne betweene the righteous and wicked, betweene him that serueth God, and him that serueth him not.
