लुका 8
1 यसपछि छिट्टै प्रभु येशू आफ्ना बाह्र जना चेलाका साथमा वरपरका सहरहरू र गाउँहरूमा प्रचार गर्दै र परमेश्वरको राज्यको सुसमाचार घोषणा गर्दै जानुभयो ।
And after these things Jesus travelled about the cities and the villages, and proclaimed and announced the kingdom of God. And with him were his twelve disciples,
2 केही स्त्रीहरू जो दुष्टात्मा र रोगहरूबाट निको भएका थिए, तिनीहरू पनि उहाँहरूसँगै थिए । तिनीहरू मरियम जसलाई मग्दलनी भनिन्थ्यो, जसबाट सातवटा भूतात्मा निकालिएका थिए ।
and those women who were healed of infirmities and of unclean spirits, Mary called Magdalena, out of whom went seven demons,
3 हेरोदका कारिन्दा खुजासकी पत्नी योअन्ना र सुसन्ना, यिनीहरू र अरूहरू आफ्ना भौतिक स्रोतहरूबाट उहाँहरूका निम्ति जुटाई दिन्थे ।
and Joanna the wife of Chusa, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, who ministered to them of their property.
4 अब मानिसहरूको एउटा ठुलो भिड एकसाथ भेला भएको थियो, साथै धेरै विभिन्न सहरबाट मानिसहरूसमेत उहाँकहाँ आइरहेका थिए । उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई एउटा दृष्टान्त भन्नुभयो ।
And when a great multitude was assembled, and people came to him from all the cities, he said, in similitudes:
5 “एउटा बिउ छर्ने केही बिउहरू छर्नलाई निस्क्यो । उसले छर्दा केही बिउहरू बाटोमा परे र ती बिउहरू खुट्टाले कुल्चिए, र आकाशका चराहरूले ती खाए ।
A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the side of the path, and was trodden upon, and a bird devoured it.
6 अरू बिउ ढुङ्गेनी जमिनमा परे र चाँडै ती बोटको रूपमा बढे र सुकिहाले, किनकि त्यो जमिन ओबानो थियो ।
And other fell upon a rock, and sprung up forthwith; but, as it lacked moisture, it dried up.
7 अझै अरू बिउहरू काँढाँका बिरुवाहरूमा परे, र बिउहरू सँगसँगै बिरुवाहरू पनि बढे र बिउहरूलाई काँढे झाडीले निसासिदियो ।
And other fell among thorns, and the thorns sprung up with it, and choked it.
8 तर केही बिउहरू असल जमिनमा परे र सय गुणा फल फलाए ।” येशूले यी कुराहरू भनिसक्नुभएपछि उहाँले बोलाउनुभयो, जससँग सुन्ने कानहरू छन् त्यसले सुनोस् ।
And other fell on good and fair ground, and sprung up, and bore fruits, a hundred for one. Having said these things, he cried: He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
9 त्यसपछि उहाँका चेलाहरूले उहाँलाई यो दृष्टान्तको अर्थ के हुन सक्छ भनी सोधे ।
And his disciples asked him: what meaneth this similitude?
10 येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूलाई परमेश्वरका राज्यका रहस्यका कुराहरू बुझ्ने अवसर दिइएको छ, तर बाँकी मानिसहरूलाई दृष्टान्तमा सिकाइने छ । त्यसकारण ‘वास्तवमा तिनीहरूले हेरेर पनि देख्नेछैनन्, सुनेर पनि बुझ्नेछैनन् ।’
And he said to them: To you it is given, to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God; but to others, it is spoken in allegories; that, while seeing, they may not see, and while hearing, may not understand.
11 अब दृष्टान्तको अर्थ यही होः बिउ परमेश्वरको वचन हो ।
But this is the similitude: The seed is the word of God.
12 बाटोको किनारमा परेका बिउ ती मानिसहरूजस्ता हुन् जसले वचन सुन्छन्, तर दुष्ट आउँछ र तिनीहरूको हृदयमा भएका वचन खोसेर लैजान्छ ताकि तिनीहरूले विश्वास नगरून् र नबाँचून् ।
And those by the side of the path, are they that hear the word, and the enemy cometh and taketh the word out of their heart, that they may not believe and live.
13 त्यसपछि ढुङ्गेनी जमिनमा परेको बिउ ती मानिसहरूजस्ता हुन् जसले वचन सुन्छन्, खुसीसाथ ग्रहण गर्छन्, तर तिनीहरूको गहिराइ नभएकोले केवल एक क्षणका लागि मात्र विश्वास गर्छन् र जाँचको समयमा तिनीहरू पतन भएर जान्छन् ।
And those upon the rock, are they who, when they hear, receive the word with joy: but they have no root in them, and their faith is temporary, and in time of temptation they are stumbled.
14 काँडाको झाडीमा परेको बिउ ती मानिसहरूजस्ता हुन् जसले वचन सुनेका छन्, तर जीवन जिउने क्रममा, संसारका धन सम्पत्तिको फिक्री, सुख विलासका कारण निसासिएर परिपक्व फल फलाउन सक्दैनन् ।
And that which fell among thorns, are those who hear the word, but are choked by cares, and by riches, and by worldly desires, and bear no fruits.
15 तर असल जमिनमा परेका बिउ ती मानिसहरूजस्तउ हुन्, जसले इमानदार र असल हृदयसाथ वचन सुनेर यसलाई सुरक्षितसाथ पक्री राख्छन् र धैर्यसाथ फल फलाउँछन् ।
And that on good ground, are those who, with a humble and good heart, hear the word, and retain it, and with patience bring forth fruits.
16 अनि बत्ती बालेर कसैले पनि भाँडाले छोप्दैन अथवा खाटमुनि राख्दैन, बरु यसलाई उसले सामदानमा राख्छ, ताकि भित्र पस्ने सबैले उज्यालो देखून् ।
No one lighteth a lamp, and covereth it with a vessel, or placeth it under a bed, but setteth it upon a light-stand, that all who come in, may see the light of it.
17 किनभने कुनै पनि कुरालाई प्रकट हुन नसक्ने गरी लुकाउन सकिँदैन, न त कुनै पनि गोप्य कुरा प्रकट नै हुन नसक्ने र ज्योतिमा आउन नसक्ने हुन्छ ।
For there is nothing covered, that shall not be uncovered; nor concealed, that shall not be known and become manifest.
18 त्यसैकारण, तिमीहरू कसरी सुन्छौ, त्यसमा होसियार होओ, किनभने जससँग छ त्यसलाई धेरै दिइनेछ, जससँग छैन उसले आफूसँग जे छ भनी सोचेको छ त्योसमेत उसबाट खोसिनेछ ।”
Take heed how ye hear: for to him that hath, shall be given; and from him that hath not, shall be taken even what he thinketh he hath.
19 त्यसपछि येशूकी आमा र भाइहरू उहाँकहाँ आए, तर भिडको कारणले गर्दा उहाँको नजिक आउन सकेनन् ।
And his mother and his brothers came to him, and they could not speak with him, because of the multitude.
20 र उहाँलाई यसो भनिएको थियो, “तपाईंकी आमा र भाइहरू तपाईंलाई भेट्ने इच्छा गरी बाहिर पर्खिरहेका छन् ।”
And they say to him: Thy mother and thy brothers stand without, and wish to see thee.
21 तर येशूले जवाफ दिनुभयो र तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “मेरा आमा र भाइहरू भनेका ती हुन्, जसले मेरो वचन सुन्छन् र पालना गर्छन् ।”
And he answered and said: My mother and my brothers, are they who hear the word of God, and do it.
22 अब ती दिनहरूमा एक दिन येशू र उहाँका चेलाहरू डुङ्गामा चढ्नुभयो, र तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “आओ, हामी तालको पल्लोपट्टि जाऔँ ।” तब उहाँहरू डुङ्गामा चढ्नुभयो ।
And on a certain day Jesus embarked and sat in a ship, he and his disciples. And he said to them; Let us pass over to the other side of the sea.
23 तर उहाँहरू यात्रामा हुनुहुँदा, प्रभु येशू निदाउनुभयो र त्यस तालमा धेरै ठुलो आँधीबेहरी आयो अनि तिनीहरूको डुङ्गा पानीले भरिन थाल्यो र तिनीहरू डरलाग्दो खतरामा थिए ।
And while they were rowing, Jesus fell asleep. And there was a tempest of wind on the sea; and the ship was near to sinking.
24 त्यसपछि येशूका चेलाहरू उहाँकहाँ आए र यसो भन्दै उहाँलाई ब्युँझाए, “प्रभु, प्रभु, हामी त मर्नै लाग्यौँ ।” उहाँ उठ्नुभयो, र बतासलाई हप्काउनुभयो, पानीको बेग थामियो र त्यहाँ सुनसान भयो ।
And they came and awaked him, and said to him: Our Rabbi, our Rabbi, we are perishing! And he arose, and rebuked the winds and the agitations of the water; and they ceased, and there was a calm.
25 अनि उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूको विश्वास कहाँ छ?” डराएर तिनीहरू अचम्मित हुँदै एक-अर्कालाई भन्दै थिए “उहाँ को हुनुहुन्छ, जसले आँधी र पानीलाई हप्काउनुहुन्छ र तिनले उहाँको आज्ञा मान्छन्?”
And he said to them: Where is your faith? And they being in awe, wondered, and said one to another: Who is this, that commandeth even the winds, and the waves, and the sea; and they obey him?
26 उहाँहरू गेरासेनसको इलाकामा आइपुग्नुभयो, जुन गालीलको पारीपट्टि पर्छ ।
And they rowed on, and came to the country of the Gadarenes, which lieth over against Galilee.
27 जब प्रभु डुङ्गाबाट पाखामा उत्रनुभयो, एउटा सहरबाट आएको एक जना मानिसले उहाँलाई भेट्यो र त्यस मानिसमा दुष्टात्माहरू थिए । किनभने लामो समयदेखि त्यस मानिसले कपडाहरू लगाएको थिएन र घरमा बस्दैनथ्यो, बरु चिहानहरूमा नै बस्दथियो ।
And when he went out upon the land, there, met him a man of the city, in whom had been a demon for a long time; and he wore no clothing, and did not reside in a house, but among the tombs.
28 जब उसले येशूलाई देख्यो, ऊ चिच्च्यायो, उहाँको सामु लड्यो र उसले उच्च स्वरमा भन्यो, “सर्वोच्च परमेश्वरका पुत्र येशू, तपाईंसँग मेरो के सरोकार? म बिन्ती गर्छु कि मलाई नसताउनुहोस् ।”
And when he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and said, with a loud voice: What have we to do with thee? Jesus, thou Son of the exalted God. I entreat of thee, torment me not.
29 किनभने येशूले त्यो मानिसबाट अशुद्ध आत्मालाई निस्केर आउने आज्ञा गर्दै हुनुहुन्थ्यो, किनकि धेरै पटक यसले उसलाई पक्रेर राखेको थियो । ऊ साङ्ग्ला र नेलले बाँधिएर पहरामा राखिएको भए तापनि उसले ती छिनालिहाल्थ्यो र दुष्ट आत्माद्वारा मरुभूमितिर डोर्याइन्थ्यो ।
For Jesus had commanded the unclean spirit, to come out of the man: for, of a long time he had been held captive by him; and he had been bound with chains, and held in fetters; but he had burst the bonds, and had been driven by the demon into the desert.
30 त्यसपछि येशूले त्यसलाई सोध्नुभयो, “तेरो नाउँ के हो?” र त्यसले भन्यो, “फौज ।” किनभने धेरै दुष्ट आत्माहरू त्यसभित्र पसेका थिए ।
And Jesus demanded of him: What is thy name? And he said to him: Legion: because many demons had entered into him.
And they besought him, not to command them to depart into the abyss. (Abyssos g12)
32 अब त्यहाँ नजिकै डाँडामा सुँगुरको एक बथान चरिरहेको थियो र दुष्ट आत्माहरूले उहाँलाई सुँगुरको बथानमा पठाइदिन भनी बिन्ती गरे । उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई त्यसो गर्ने आज्ञा दिनुभयो ।
And there was a herd of many swine grazing on the mountain. And they besought him, that he would permit them to enter the swine. And he permitted them.
33 त्यसैले, त्यस मानिसबाट दुष्ट आत्माहरू निस्की सुँगुरको बथानमा पसे, र त्यो बथान भिरालोबाट हुर्रिंदै गएर समुद्रमा डुबेर मरे ।
And the demons went out of the man, and entered the swine; and the whole herd ran to a precipice, and plunged into the sea, and were strangled.
34 सुँगुर चराइरहेका मानिसहरूले जे भइरहेको थियो त्यो देखेपछि तिनीहरू भाग्दै सहर र वरपरका ठाउँहरूमा गए र त्यो कुरो बताए ।
And when the herdmen saw what had occurred, they fled, and told it in the cities and the villages.
35 त्यसकारण, मानिसहरू जसले यसबारे सुने, के भएको थियो सो हेर्नलाई तिनीहरू येशूकहाँ आए र त्यस मानिस जसबाट दुष्ट आत्माहरू निस्केर गएका थिए, त्यसलाई कपडा लगाएर राम्रो अवस्थामा येशूको चरणमा बसिरहेको भेट्टाए र तिनीहरू डराए ।
And the men went out to see what was done. And they came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the demons had gone, now clothed, and modest, and sitting at the feet of Jesus; and they were awed.
36 तब जुन घटना घटेको ती मानिसहरूले देखेका थिए अर्थात् कसरी दुष्ट आत्माहरूद्वारा नियन्त्रित मानिस बचाइको थियो, सो तिनीहरूले अरूहरूलाई भने ।
And they that saw it, related to them in what manner the demoniac was cured.
37 गेरासेन र वरपरका सबै मानिसहरूले येशूलाई तिनीहरूबाट जान आग्रह गरे, किनभने तिनीहरू साह्रै डराएका थिए ।
And the whole throng of the Gadarenes requested him, that he would depart from them: for great fear had seized them. And Jesus embarked in a ship, and retired from among them.
38 तर दुष्ट आत्माहरू निस्केर गएको मानिसले येशूसँगै जानलाई उहाँलाई बिन्ती गर्यो, तर येशूले यसो भन्दै उसलाई पठाउनुभयो,
And the man, from whom the demons had gone out, requested that he might remain with him. But Jesus dismissed him, and said to him:
39 “आफ्नो घर फर्क र परमेश्वरले तिम्रो निम्ति गर्नुभएका महान् कार्यहरूको स्मरण गर ।”
Return to thy home, and relate what God hath done for thee. And he went away, and proclaimed through all the city what Jesus had done for him.
40 जब येशू फर्कनुभयो, भिडले उहाँलाई स्वागत गर्यो, किनकि तिनीहरू सबैले उहाँलाई पर्खिरहेका थिए ।
And when Jesus returned, a great multitude received him; for all were looking for him.
41 हेर, याइरस नाउँ गरेका एक जना मानिस त्यहाँ आए, जो सभाघरका अगुवाहरूमध्ये एक थिए । याइरस प्रभु येशूका पाउमा घोप्टो परे र उहाँलाई उनको घरमा आउन बिन्ती गरे ।
And a man, whose name was Jairus, a chief of the synagogue, fell down at the feet of Jesus, and besought him to enter his house;
42 किनभने उनको एउटै मात्र बाह्र वर्षकी छोरी मर्नै लागेकी थिइन् । तर उहाँ जाँदै गर्नुहुँदा मानिसहरूको भिडले उहाँलाई घचेटिरहेको थियो ।
for he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was near dying. And as Jesus went with him, a great multitude pressed upon him.
43 त्यहाँ एउटी बाह्र वर्षसम्म रगत बग्ने समस्या भएकी स्त्री थिइन् । तिनले आफ्नो सम्पूर्ण पैसा डाक्टरहरूकहाँ औषधी उपचारमा खर्चे गरिसकेकी थिइन्, तर तिनीहरूमध्ये कसैले पनि निको पार्न सकेका थिएनन् ।
And a certain woman, whose blood had flowed twelve years, and who had expended all her property among physicians, and could not be cured by any one,
44 तिनी येशूको पछिल्तिर आइन् र उहाँको कपडाको छेऊ छोइन् र तुरुन्तै तिनको रक्तश्राव रोकियो ।
came up behind him, and touched the border of his garment; and immediately the flow of her blood stopped.
45 येशूले भन्नुभयो, “मलाई कसले छोयो?” जब सबैले यसलाई इन्कार गरे, पत्रुसले भने, “प्रभु मानिसहरूको भिडले तपाईंलाई घेरेर घचेट्दै छन् ।”
And Jesus said: Who touched me? And when all denied, Simon Cephas and those with him said to him: Our Rabbi, crowds press upon thee and sayest thou, Who touched me?
46 तर येशूले भन्नुभयो, “कसैले मलाई छोयो, किनभने शक्ति मबाट बाहिर गइरहेको मैले थाहा पाएँ ।”
And he said: Some one touched me; for I perceive, that energy hath gone out from me.
47 जब त्यस स्त्रीले आफूले गरेको कुरा लुकाउन नसक्ने देखिन्, तब काँप्दै येशूको चरणमा घोप्टो परिन्, तिनले येशूलाई छुनुको कारण र कसरी तुरुन्तै निको भइन् सबै मानिसहररूका सामु बताइन् ।
And the woman, when she saw that she had not escaped his notice, came trembling, and fell down and worshipped him. And in the presence of all the people, she declared for what cause she had touched him, and that she was instantly healed.
48 त्यसपछि उहाँले तिनलाई भन्नुभयो, “छोरी, तिम्रो विश्वासले तिमीलाई निको पारेको छ । शान्तिसँग जाऊ ।”
And Jesus said to her: Take courage, my daughter: Thy faith hath given thee life: Go in peace.
49 जब उहाँ अझै बोल्दै हुनुहुन्थ्यो, सभाघरका अगुवाको घरबाट एक जना आएर भने, “तिम्री छोरी मरिसकिन् । गुरुलाई दुःख नदेऊ ।”
And while he was speaking, one came from the house of the chief of the synagogue, and said to him: Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the teacher.
50 तर जब येशूले त्यो सुन्नुभयो, उहाँले उसलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो, “नडराऊ, विश्वास मात्र गर र तिनी बचाइनेछिन् ।”
And Jesus heard it, and said to the father of the maid: Fear not; believe only, and she will live.
51 जब उहाँ घरमा आउनुभयो, तब पत्रुस, यूहन्ना र याकूब, केटीको बुबा र आमाबाहेक अरू कसैलाई पनि भित्र पस्ने अनुमति दिनुभएन ।
And Jesus came to the house; and he suffered none to go in with him, except Simon, and James, and John, and the father and mother of the maid.
52 अनि त्यहाँ सबै मानिसहरू ती केटीका निम्ति रुँदै र विलाप गर्दै थिए । तर उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “नरोऊ, तिनी मरेकी छैनन्, तर निदाएकी मात्र छिन् ।”
And all were weeping and wailing over her. And Jesus said: Weep not; for she is not dead, but sleepeth
53 तर तिनीहरू केटी मरेको थाहा पाएर, येशूलाई गिल्ला गर्दै हाँसे ।
And they derided him, knowing that she was dead.
54 तर उहाँले केटीलाई हातमा लिएर यसो भनेर बोलाउनुभयो, “नानी उठ ।”
And he put every one out, and took her by the hand, and called, and said: Maid, arise.
55 तिनको आत्मा फर्क्यो, र तिनी तुरुन्तै उठिन् । उहाँले तिनलाई केही खान दिनका लागि आज्ञा दिनुभयो ।
And her spirit returned, and she instantly arose. And he directed them to give her food.
56 तिनका बुबा-आमा अचम्मित भए, तर त्यहाँ जे भएको थियो त्यो कसैलाई नभन्नू भनी उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई आज्ञा दिनुभयो ।
And her parents were astonished: and he charged them to tell no one what had occurred.
