लुका 24
1 हप्ताको पहिलो दिन सबेरै आफूले तयार गरेको सुगन्धित मसला लिएर उनीहरू चिहानमा आए ।
NOW on the first day of the week, at the earliest dawn of day, they came to the sepulchre, bringing the aromatics which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
2 तिनीहरूले चिहानबाट ढुङ्गा हटाइएको भेट्टाए ।
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
3 तिनीहरू भित्र पसे, तर प्रभु येशूको शरीरलाई भेट्टाएनन् ।
And on entering, found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 जब तिनीहरू यस विषयमा अन्योलमा परिरहेका थिए, तुरुन्तै चम्किलोवस्त्र लगाएका दुई जना मानिस तिनीहरूको छेउमा उभिए ।
And it came to pass, as they were in the greatest perplexity concerning this matter, then behold, two men stood by them in refulgent garments:
5 ती स्त्रीहरू डरले भरिएर आफ्नो अनुहार भुइँतिर निहुराइरहेका थिए, तिनीहरूले स्त्रीहरूलाई भने, “किन तिमीहरूले जीवितलाई मृतकहरूका बिचमा खोज्छौ?”
and when they were exceedingly terrified, and inclined their face to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6 उहाँ यहाँ हुनुहुन्न, तर जीवित हुनुभएको छ! उहाँ गालीलमा हुनुहुँदा तिमीहरूलाई के भन्नुभएको थियो, सो सम्झ ।
he is not here; he is risen: remember how he spoke to you, while he was yet in Galilee,
7 मानिसका पुत्र पापी मानिसहरूका हातमा सुम्पिनु र क्रुसमा टाँगिनु, र तेस्रो दिनमा फेरि जीवित हुन आवश्यक छ ।”
saying, That the Son of man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 तब ती स्त्रीहरूले उहाँका वचनलाई सम्झे ।
And they remembered his declarations,
9 र चिहानबाट फर्के, र ती सबै कुराहरू एघार जना र अरू सबैलाई बताइदिए ।
and returning from the sepulchre, told all these things to the eleven, and to the rest.
10 अब मरियम मग्दलिनी, योअन्ना, याकूबकी आमा मरियम र उनीहरूसँग अरू स्त्रीहरू पनि थिए र प्रेरितहरूलाई ती सबै कुराहरूको जानकारी गराए ।
Now there were Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and the other women who were with them, that told these things to the apostles.
11 तर यो सन्देश प्रेरितहरूलाई बेकारको कुराजस्तो लग्यो, र तिनीहरूले स्त्रीहरूको कुरामा विश्वास गरेनन् ।
And their declarations seemed in their view as a mere fancy, and they gave them no credence.
12 यथापि पत्रुस उठे, र चिहानतिर दौडेर गए र निहुरेर भित्र हेर्दा सूती कपडाको पट्टीलाई देखे । तब पत्रुस आश्चर्य चकित हुँदै के भएको होला भन्दै आफ्नो घर तर्फलागे ।
Then Peter rising up, ran off to the sepulchre, and leaning forward saw the linen clothes laid separately, and went away wondering in himself what was become of him.
13 हेर, तिनीहरू दुई जना त्यही दिन इम्माउस नाउँ भएको गाउँतिर गइराखेका थिए, जुन यरूशलेमबाट साठी किलोमिटर टाढा थियो ।
And behold, two of them were going the same day to a village, distant about sixty furlongs from Jerusalem, called Emmaus.
14 जे भएको थियो, ती सबै कुराको विषयमा तिनीहरूले एक-अर्कामा छलफल गरे ।
And they were conversing with each other, concerning all those things which had happened.
15 तिनीहरू छलफल र एकसाथ प्रश्न गरिरहेका बेलामा येशू आफैँ तिनीहरूको नजिक आउनुभयो र तिनीहरूसँगै जानुभयो ।
And it came to pass, as they were conversing together, and talking the matter over, even Jesus himself drew near, and walked on with them.
16 तर तिनीहरूका आँखा उहाँलाई नचिन्ने बनाइएका थिए ।
But their eyes were under a restraint, that they might not discover him.
17 येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरू दुवै जना हिँड्दै गर्दा के को विषयमा कुरा गरिरेहेका थियौ?” उदास भएर तिनीहरू त्यहाँ उभिए ।
And he said unto them, What are these discourses that ye interchange among you, as ye are walking, and bear such a face of dejection?
18 तिनीहरूमध्ये क्लेओपास नाउँ गरेका एक जनाले उहाँलाई जवाफ दिए,”यी दिनहरूमा यरूशलेममा भएका कुराहरू थाहा नपाउने व्यक्ति के तपाईं मात्रै एक हुनुहुन्छ?”
Then one of them, named Cleopas, answering said, Art thou the only sojourner at Jerusalem, who hath not known the singular events of those days?
19 येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “के कुराहरू?” तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई जवाफ दिए, “येशू नासरीसँग सम्बन्धित कुराहरू, जो एक अगमवक्ता हुनुहुन्थ्यो, सबै मानिसहरू र परमेश्वरको अगाडि काम र वचनमा शक्तिशाली हुनुहुन्थ्यो ।
And he said to them, Of what sort? and they said to him, Those which relate to Jesus the Nazarean, who was a man, a prophet, mighty in word and deed before God and all the people:
20 र कसरी मुख्य पुजारीहरू र हाम्रा शासकहरूले उहाँलाई दोष लगाएर मृत्युदण्ड दिए र उहाँलाई क्रुसमा टाँगे ।
and how our chief priests and rulers delivered him up to a sentence of death, and crucified him.
21 तर उहाँले नै इस्राएललाई स्वतन्त्र गर्नुहुने थियो भनी हामीले आशा राखेका थियौँ । र यी सबै कुराबाहेक, यी सबै कुरा हुन आएको आज तेस्रो दिन भइसक्यो ।
But we had entertained hopes that this was the person who should have redeemed Israel: and ah! besides all these things, to-day concludes that third day since these things were done.
22 तरै पनि, बिहान सबेरै उहाँको चिहानमा गएर, हाम्रो समूहका केही स्त्रीहरूले हामीलाई आश्चर्य चकित पारेका छन्, ।
And indeed, certain women belonging to us exceedingly amazed us who were very early at the sepulchre;
23 जब तिनीहरूले उहाँको शरीरलाई भेट्टाएनन्, तब यसो भन्दै तिनीहरू आए, तिनीहरूले स्वर्गदूतहरूको दर्शन पनि देखे जसले उहाँ जीवित हुनुभएको थियो भने ।
and not finding his body, came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, who told them that he was alive.
24 हामीसँग भएका केही मानिसहरू चिहानमा गए, र थाहा पाए कि स्त्रीहरूले भनेजस्तै भएको थियो । तर तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई देखेनन् ।”
And some of those who were with us went to the sepulchre, and found every thing just as the women had said: but him they did not see.
25 येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “हे मूर्ख मानिसहरू र विश्वास गर्न सुस्त हृदय भएकाहरू हो, ती सबै कुराहरू अगमवक्ताहरूले बोलेका थिएनन् र?
And he said unto them, O ye void of understanding, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
26 के ख्रीष्टले यी सबै कुराहरूमा दुःख कष्ट भोग्न र उसको महिमामा प्रवेश गर्न आवश्यक थिएन र?”
Ought not the Messiah to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 तब मोशादेखि लिएर सबै अगमवक्ताहरूद्वारा सबै धर्मशास्त्रमा येशूको विषयमा भनिएका कुराहरू उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई व्याख्या गरिदिनुभयो ।
And beginning from Moses and all the prophets, he explained to them in all the scriptures, the things relating to himself.
28 तिनीहरू जुन गाउँतिर गइरहेका थिए, तिनीहरू त्यसको नजिकै पुग्न लाग्दा येशूले अझै टाढा जानेजस्तै गरी व्यवहार गर्नुभयो ।
And they drew nigh to the village, whither they were going: and he was proceeding on, as if going farther.
29 तर तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई यसो भन्दै कर गरे, “हामीसँगै बस्नुहोस् किनकि साँझ परिसक्यो र लगभग दिन बितिसक्यो ।” त्यसैले, येशू तिनीहरूसँगै बस्न जानुभयो ।
And they warmly pressed him, saying, Stay with us: for the evening draws on, and the day declines. And he went in to stay with them.
30 जब उहाँ तिनीहरूसँग खान बस्नुभयो, तब उहाँले रोटी लिनुभयो, आशिष् माग्नुभयो र यसलाई भाँचेर तिनीहरूलाई दिनुभयो ।
And it came to pass, when he was sitting down at table with them, taking up a loaf, he blessed it, and breaking, distributed it to them.
31 तब तिनीहरूका आँखा खुले, र तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई चिने, र उहाँ तिनीहरूका दृष्टिबाट हराउनुभयो ।
Then their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he became invisible to them.
32 तिनीहरूले एक अर्कोलाई भने, बाटोमा उहाँ हामीसँग बोल्नुँहुदा उहाँले हामीलाई धर्मशास्त्र खोलिदिनुहुँदा के हाम्रा हृदयभित्र जलन भइराखेको थिएन र?”
And they said to each other, Did not our hearts burn within us, as he talked with us on the road, and as he distinctly opened to us the scriptures?
33 त्यसै घडी तिनीहरू उठे, र यरूशलेममा फर्के । तिनीहरूले एघार जना एक आपसमा र उनीहरूसँग भएकाहरू पनि जम्मा भइराखेको भेट्टाए,
And rising up the same hour, they returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them crowded together,
34 तिनीहरूले भने, “प्रभु जीवित हुनुभएको रहेछ, र सिमोनकहाँ देखा पर्नुभएको रहेछ ।”
saying, The Lord is risen assuredly, and hath appeared to Simon.
35 त्यसकारण, बाटोमा जे भएको थियो, ती कुराहरू तिनीहरूले बताए र कसरी येशूले रोटी भाँच्ने बेलामा तिनीहरूलाई आफूलाई प्रकट गर्नुभयो, सो पनि बताए ।
Then these recounted what had passed on the road, and how he was known to them by the breaking of the bread.
36 जसरी तिनीहरूले ती कुराहरू भन्दै थिए, येशू आफैँ तिनीहरूका बिचमा उभिनुभयो, र तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूलाई शान्ति होस् ।”
While they were relating these things, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you!
37 तर तिनीहरू भयभीत भए र डरले भरिए, र हामीले एउटा आत्मा देख्यौँ भनी विचार गरे ।
But terrified and affrighted, they thought they saw a spirit.
38 येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “किन तिमीहरू दुःखित हुन्छौ? किन तिमीहरूका हृदयमा प्रश्न उठाउँछौ?
And he said to them, Why are ye under such agitation of mind? and why do reasonings arise in your hearts?
39 मेरा हात र खुट्टा हेर, त्यो म आफैँ हुँ । मलाई छोएर हेर । किनकि आत्माको मासु र हड्डी हुँदैन, जसरी तिमीले मेरो शरीरमा भएको देखेका छौ ।”
look upon my hands and my feet, that it is my very self: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
40 जब उहाँले यो भनी सक्नुभयो, उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई आफ्ना हातहरू र गोडा देखाउनुभयो ।
And thus speaking, he exposed to them his hands and his feet.
41 तर तिनीहरू खुसीले पत्यार गर्न नसकी अचम्मित भइरहेकै बेला येशूले तिनीहरूलाई सोध्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूसँग केही खानेकुरा छ?”
But when they still could not credit it for joy, and marvelled, he said unto them, Have ye here any thing eatable?
42 तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई एउटा पकाएको माछा दिए ।
Then they gave him a part of a broiled fish, and a piece of honey-comb.
43 येशूले त्यसलाई लिनुभयो, र तिनीहरूकै सामु खानुभयो ।
And receiving it, he did eat in their presence.
44 उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “जब म तिमीहरूसँग थिएँ, मैले तिमीहरूलाई भनेको थिएँ कि मोशाको व्यवस्था, अगमवक्ताहरूको पुस्तक र भजनसङ्ग्रहको पुस्तकमा लेखिएका सबै कुराहरू पुरा हुनैपर्छ ।”
And said unto them, These are the sayings which I spake unto you, when I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning me.
45 तब तिनीहरूले धर्मशास्त्र बुझ्न सकून् भनेर उहाँले तिनीहरूको विवेक खोली दिनुभयो ।
Then opened he thoroughly their understanding, that they should understand the scriptures,
46 उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “यसो लेखिएको छ, ख्रीष्टले कष्ट भोग्नु, र तेस्रो दिनमा मृतकबाट जीवित भई उठ्नु आवश्यक छ ।
and said to them, That thus it is written, and thus must the Messiah suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day
47 र उहाँको नाउँमा यरूशलेमबाट सुरु गरेर सबै जातिहरूलाई पश्चात्ताप र पाप क्षमाको बारेमा प्रचार गर्नुपर्छ ।
and that repentance and remission of sin should be preached in his name unto all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
48 तिमीहरू यी कुराहरूका साक्षी छौ ।
And ye are the witnesses of these things.
49 हेर, म मेरा पिताको प्रतिज्ञा तिमीहरूका लागि पठाउँछु, तर माथिबाट शक्ति प्राप्त नगरेसम्म तिमीहरू यही सहरमा पर्खेर बस ।”
And, behold, I send unto you the promise of my Father: but sit ye down in the city of Jerusalem, until ye shall be endued with power from on high.
50 त्यसपछि तिनीहरू बेथानी नपुगेसम्म उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई अगुवाइ गर्नुभयो । उहाँले आफ्ना हातहरू उचालेर तिनीहरूलाई आशिष् दिनुभयो ।
And he led them without the city as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them.
51 त्यसपछि, जब उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई आशिष् दिँदै हुनुहुन्थ्यो, उहाँ तिनीहरूलाई छोडेर स्वर्गतिर उचालिनुभयो ।
And it came to pass, as he pronounced the benediction upon them, he was parted from them, and taken up into heaven.
52 त्यसैले, तिनीहरूले उहाँको आराधना गरे, र बडो आनन्दसाथ यरूशलेम फर्के ।
And they, after paying him their adorations, returned to Jerusalem with vast joy:
53 तिनीहरू निरन्तर परमेश्वरलाई धन्यको भन्दै मन्दिरमा रहे ।
and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
