लेवीहरू 5
1 यदि कसैले आफूले देखेको वा सुनेको कुनै कुराको साक्षी भएर पनि त्यस कुराको गवाही दिनुपर्ने अवस्थामा गवाही नदिएको कारणले पाप गर्दछ भने, त्यो दोषी हुने छ ।
And if any person sin, because he heareth the voice of adjuration, and he is a witness, since he hath either seen or knoweth something; if he do not tell it, and thus bear his iniquity;
2 वा परमेश्वरले अशुद्ध ठहराउनुभएको कुनै कुरा कसैले छोयो भने, चाहे त्यो कुनै अशुद्ध वन-पशु, पाल्तु पशु वा घस्रने पशुको मृत शरीर होस्, त्यसले त्यो अजानमा छोएको भए तापनि त्यो अशुद्ध र दोषी हुने छ ।
Or if there be a person who toucheth any unclean thing, whether it be the carcass of an unclean beast, or the carcass of unclean cattle, or the carcass of an unclean creeping thing, and it escape his recollection; but [he becometh aware that] he is unclean, and hath [thus] incurred guilt;
3 वा त्यसले कसैको अशुद्धता छोयो भने, चाहे त्यो अशुद्धता जेसुकै होस्, र त्यसबारे त्यो अजान छ भने, त्यसबारे त्यसलाई थाहा भएपछि त्यो दोषी हुने छ ।
Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness of the kind it be by which he can be defiled, and it escape his recollection; but he becometh aware of it, and [that] he hath [thus] incurred guilt;
4 वा कसैले खराब वा असल गर्न आफ्नो मुखबाट विचारै नगरेर किरिया हाल्छ भने, त्यसले जेसुकैको किरिया हालेको भए तापनि, यदि त्यसबारे त्यो अजान छ भने, त्यसबारे त्यसलाई थाहा भएपछि त्यो यी सबै कुराहरूमा दोषी हुने छ ।
Or if any person swear, by pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good [to himself], in whatsoever it be that a man pronounceth with an oath, and it escape his recollection; but he becometh aware of it that he hath incurred guilt by any one of these:
5 यी कुराहरूमा कोही दोषी ठहरिएपछि त्यसले जेसुकै पाप गरेको भए तापनि त्यसले त्यो स्वीकार गर्नुपर्छ ।
And it shall be, if he have incurred guilt by any one of these [things, ] that he shall confess that concerning which he hath sinned;
6 त्यसपछि त्यसले आफूले गरेको पापको निम्ति परमप्रभुकहाँ दोषबलिको रूपमा बगालबाट पोथी पशु, पाठी वा बाख्री पापबलिको निम्ति ल्याओस्, र त्यसको पापको निम्ति पुजारीले प्रायश्चित्त गर्ने छ ।
And he shall bring his trespass-offering unto the Lord for his sin which he hath committed, a female from the flocks, a sheep or a goat, for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.
7 यदि त्यससँग पाठी किन्ने औकात छैन भने, त्यसले आफ्नो पापको निम्ति परमप्रभुकहाँ दोषबलिको रूपमा दुईवटा ढुकुर वा दुईवटा परेवाका बच्चा ल्याओस्, एउटाचाहिँ पापबलिको निम्ति र अर्को होमबलिको निम्ति ।
And if his means be not sufficient for a sheep, then shall he bring as his offering [for the trespass] which he hath committed, two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, unto the Lord; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering.
8 त्यसले त्यो पुजारीकहाँ ल्याओस्, जसले पहिला एउटालाई पापबलिको निम्ति अर्पण गर्ने छ । त्यसले त्यसको घाँटीबाट त्यसको टाउको निमोठोस्, तर त्यसको शरीरबाट त्यसलाई पूर्ण रूपमा नछुटाओस् ।
And he shall bring them unto the priest, and he shall offer that which is for the sin-offering first, and pinch off its head by the back of its neck, but shall not divide it asunder:
9 त्यसपछि त्यसले पापबलिको केही रगत वेदीको वरिपरि छर्कोस्, र बाँकी रगतचाहिँ वेदीको फेदमा खन्याओस् । योचाहिँ पापबलि हो ।
And he shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin-offering upon the wall of the altar: and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar; it is a sin-offering.
10 त्यसपछि निर्देशनहरूमा वर्णन गरिएअनुसार त्यसले दोस्रो चरोलाई होमबलिको रूपमा अर्पण गरोस्, र त्यसले गरेको पापको निम्ति पुजारीले प्रायश्चित्त गर्ने छ, र त्यस मानिसलाई क्षमा हुने छ ।
And the second shall he prepare as a burnt-offering, according to the prescribed order; and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven unto him.
11 तर यदि त्यससँग दुई ढुकुर वा दुई परेवाका बच्चा किन्ने औकात छैन भने, त्यसले आफ्नो पापको निम्ति बलिको रूपमा आधा पाथी मसिनो पिठोको पापबलि ल्याओस् । त्यो पापबलि भएको कारण त्यसले त्यसमा तेल वा धूप नराखोस् ।
But if his means be not sufficient for two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, then shall he bring as his offering for that which he hath sinned, the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin-offering; he shall not put upon it any oil, nor shall he put thereupon any frankincense; for it is a sin-offering.
12 त्यसले त्यो पुजारीकहाँ ल्याओस्, र पुजारीले त्यसबाट एक मुट्ठी चिन्हको रूपमा लिएर परमप्रभुको निम्ति वेदीमा आगोको बलिमाथि जलाओस् । यो पापबलि हो ।
And he shall bring it to the priest; and the priest shall take from it his handful, as its memorial, and burn it on the altar, upon the fire-offerings of the Lord: it is a sin-offering.
13 त्यस मानिसले गरेका सबै पापको निम्ति पुजारीले प्रायश्चित्त गर्ने छ, र त्यस मानिसलाई क्षमा हुने छ । अन्नबलिमा झैँ भेटीबाट बाँकी रहेको जति सबै पुजारीको हुने छ’ ।”
And the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin that he hath committed in one of these, and it shall be forgiven unto him; and it shall belong to the priest, as the meat-offering.
14 अनि परमप्रभु मोशासँग यसो भनेर बोल्नुभयो,
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
15 “यदि कसैले अजानमा परमप्रभुका कुराहरूको सम्बन्धमा पाप गर्दछ र अविश्वासपूर्वक काम गर्दछ भने, त्यसले परमप्रभुकहाँ आफ्नो दोषबलि ल्याओस् । यो बलिचाहिँ दोषबलिको रूपमा बगालको निष्खोट भेडा होस्; जसको मूल्य पवित्रस्थानको चाँदीको शेकेल बराबरको हुनुपर्छ ।
If any person commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, against the holy things of the Lord: then shall he bring as his trespass-offering unto the Lord a ram without blemish out of the flocks, in value of two shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass-offering.
16 जे पवित्र छ त्यसको विरुद्ध गरेको पापको कारण त्यसले परमप्रभुलाई प्रसन्न तुल्याउनुपर्छ, र त्यसमा पाँचौँ भाग थपेर पुजारीलाई दिनुपर्छ । त्यसपछि दोषबलिको त्यो भेडा लिएर पुजारीले त्यस मानिसको निम्ति प्रायश्चित्त गर्ने छ, र त्यसलाई क्षमा हुने छ ।
And that, in which he hath sinned against the holy thing, shall he pay, and shall add its fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest; and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass-offering, and it shall be forgiven unto him.
17 परमप्रभुले नगर्नू भनी आज्ञा गर्नुभएको कुनै कुरा कसैले गर्दछ भने, त्यसबारे त्यो अजान भए तापनि, त्यो दोषी हुने छ र आफ्नो दोषको भार त्यसले आफैँ बोक्नुपर्छ ।
And if any person sin, and commit any one of the prohibitions of the Lord which ought not to be done; and he know not whether he have incurred guilt, and so bear his iniquity:
18 त्यसले बगालबाट प्रचलित मूल्य बराबरको एउटा निष्खोट भेडा पुजारीकहाँ दोषबलिको रूपमा ल्याओस् । त्यसले अजानमा गरेको पापको निम्ति पुजारीले प्रायश्चित्त गर्ने छ, र त्यसलाई क्षमा हुने छ ।
Then shall he bring a ram without blemish out of the flocks, of the usual value, for a trespass-offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin of ignorance, wherein he hath erred and knoweth it not, and it shall be forgiven unto him.
19 यो दोषबलि हो, र त्यो निश्चय नै परमप्रभुको अगि दोषी छ ।”
It is a trespass-offering: he hath in trespassing trespassed against the Lord.
