लेवीहरू 26
1 “तिमीहरूले मूर्तिहरू नबनाउनू, र आफ्नो निम्ति कुनै खोपिएको मूर्ति वा प्रतिमूर्ति खडा नगर्नू, र आफ्नो भूमिमा खोपिएको ढुङ्गाको प्रतिमूर्ति बनाएर त्यसलाई दण्डवत् नगर्नू, किनभने म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ ।
Do not make images of false gods, or put up an image cut in stone or a pillar or any pictured stone in your land, to give worship to it; for I am the Lord your God.
2 तिमीहरूले मेरो शबाथ मान्नू र मेरो पवित्रस्थानको आदर गर्नू । म परमप्रभु हुँ ।
Keep my Sabbaths and give honour to my holy place: I am the Lord.
3 यदि तिमीहरू मेरा नियमहरूअनुसार हिँड्यौ र मेरा आज्ञाहरू पालन गरेर तीअनुसार चल्यौ भने,
If you are guided by my rules, and keep my laws and do them,
4 म तिमीहरूलाई ठिक मौसममा झरी दिने छु, र भूमिले आफ्नो उब्जनी दिने छ, र भूमिका रुखहरूले आफ्ना फल दिने छन् ।
Then I will give you rain at the right time, and the land will give her increase and the trees of the field will give their fruit;
5 दाख बटुल्ने समयसम्मै तिमीहरूले दाइँ गर्ने छौ, र रोपाइँको समयसम्मै दाख बटुल्ने छौ । तिमीहरूले भरपेट रोटी खाने छौ र भूमिमा तिमीहरूले जहाँ आफ्नो घर बसाल्छौ त्यहाँ सुरक्षितसाथ जिउने छौ ।
And the crushing of the grain will overtake the cutting of the grapes, and the cutting of the grapes will overtake the planting of the seed, and there will be bread in full measure, and you will be living in your land safely.
6 म देशमा शान्ति ल्याउने छु, र तिमीहरू कुनै डरविना नै निदाउने छौ । म तिमीहरूका देशबाट हिंसक पशुहरूलाई हटाइदिने छु, र तिमीहरूका देशमा तरवार प्रहार हुने छैन ।
And I will give you peace in the land, and you will take your rest and no one will give you cause for fear; and I will put an end to all evil beasts in the land, and no sword of war will go through your land.
7 तिमीहरूले आफ्ना दुश्मनहरूलाई लखेट्ने छौ, र तिमीहरूको तरवारको प्रहारले तिमीहरूकै अगि तिनीहरू लड्ने छन् ।
And you will put to flight those who are against you, and they will be put to death by your swords.
8 तिमीहरूका पाँच जनाले सयलाई, र सयले हजार जनालाई लखेट्ने छन्, र तिमीहरूको तरवारको प्रहारले तिमीहरूका दुश्मनहरू तिमीहरूकै अगि लड्ने छन् ।
Then five of you will put to flight a hundred, and a hundred of you will put to flight ten thousand, and all who are against you will be put to death by your swords.
9 म तिमीहरूमाथि कृपादृष्टि लगाउने छु र तिमीहरूलाई फलवन्त बनाएर तिमीहरूको सङ्ख्या वृद्धि गर्ने छु । म मेरो करार तिमीहरूसँग स्थापना गर्ने छु ।
And I will have pleasure in you and make you fertile and greater in number; and I will keep my agreement with you.
10 तिमीहरूले लामो समयसम्म भण्डार गरेको खाने कुरा खाने छौ । तिमीहरूले भण्डार गरेको खाने कुरा बाहिर निकालेर नयाँ फसलको निम्ति ठाउँ तयार गर्ने छौ ।
And old stores long kept will be your food, and you will take out the old because of the new;
11 म मेरो वेदी तिमीहरूकै बिचमा राख्ने छु, र म तिमीहरूलाई घृणा गर्ने छैनँ ।
And I will put my holy House among you, and my soul will not be turned away from you in disgust.
12 म तिमीहरूका बिचमा हिँड्डुल गर्ने छु, र म तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर हुने छु, र तिमीहरू मेरा मानिसहरू हुने छौ ।
And I will be present among you and will be your God and you will be my people.
13 तिमीहरू मिश्रमा दास भइनरहोस् भनेर त्यस देशबाट तिमीहरूलाई निकालेर बाहिर ल्याउने परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर म नै हुँ । मैले तिमीहरूका जुवाका काठहरू भत्काइदिएको छु र तिमीहरूलाई ठाडो भएर हिँड्ने तुल्याएको छु ।
I am the Lord your God, who took you out of the land of Egypt so that you might not be servants to them; by me the cords of your yoke were broken and I made you go upright.
14 तर तिमीहरूले मेरा कुरा सुनेनौ, र मेरा यी सबै आज्ञाहरू मानेनौ,
But if you do not give ear to me, and do not keep all these my laws;
15 र मेरा विधि र नियमहरूलाई घृणा गरेर इन्कार गर्यौ, र मेरा सबै आज्ञाहरू पालन नगरेर मेरो करारलाई तोड्यौ भने,
And if you go against my rules and if you have hate in your souls for my decisions and you do not do all my orders, but go against my agreement;
16 म तिमीहरूका बिचमा आतङ्क फैलाउने छु, आँखालाई नष्ट गर्ने र प्राणलाई शिथिल गराउने रोगहरू र ज्वरोहरू पठाउने छु । तिमीहरूले छरेका बिउ व्यर्थ हुने छन्, किनभने तिमीहरूका शत्रुहरूले त्यसको उब्जनी खाने छन् ।
This will I do to you: I will put fear in your hearts, even wasting disease and burning pain, drying up the eyes and making the soul feeble, and you will get no profit from your seed, for your haters will take it for food.
17 म मेरो मुहार तिमीहरूबाट फर्काउने छु, र तिमीहरूका शत्रुले तिमीहरूलाई पराजय गर्ने छन् । तिमीहरूलाई घृणा गर्ने मानिसहरूले तिमीहरूमाथि शासन गर्ने छन्, र कसैले तिमीहरूलाई नखेदे तापनि तिमीहरू भाग्ने छौ ।
And my face will be turned from you, and you will be broken before those who are against you, and your haters will become your rulers, and you will go in flight when no man comes after you.
18 यी सबैपछि पनि तिमीहरूले मेरो कुरा सुनेनौ भने, म तिमीहरूका पापभन्दा सात गुणा बढी सजाय तिमीहरूलाई दिने छु ।
And if, even after these things, you will not give ear to me, then I will send you punishment seven times more for your sins.
19 आफ्नो शक्तिमाथिको तिमीहरूको घमण्डलाई म तोडिदिने छु । तिमीहरूमाथिको आकाशलाई फलामझैँ र तिमीहरूको भूमिलाई काँसोझैँ बनाउने छु ।
And the pride of your strength will be broken, and I will make your heaven as iron and your earth as brass;
20 तिमीहरूको मेहनत व्यर्थ हुने छ, किनभने तिमीहरूको भूमिले आफ्नो फसल दिने छैन, र तिमीहरूका भूमिका रुखहरूले आफ्ना उब्जनी दिने छैनन् ।
And your strength will be used up without profit; for your land will not give her increase and the trees of the field will not give their fruit.
21 यदि तिमीहरू मेरो विरुद्ध भयौ र मेरो कुरा सुनेनौ भने, तिमीहरूका पापहरूको बदलामा म सात गुणा विपत्ति ल्याउने छु ।
And if you still go against me and will not give ear to me, I will put seven times more punishments on you because of your sins.
22 म तिमीहरूकहाँ डर लाग्दा पशुहरू पठाउने छु, र तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूका छोराछोरीहरू चोरी लैजाने छन्, र तिमीहरूका गाईवस्तुलाई नष्ट गर्ने छन्, र तिमीहरूको सङ्ख्यामा कमि ल्याउने छन् । यसरी तिमीहरूका मार्गहरू विराना हुने छन् ।
I will let loose the beasts of the field among you, and they will take away your children and send destruction on your cattle, so that your numbers will become small and your roads become waste.
23 यी कुराहरू हुँदाहुँदै पनि तिमीहरूले मेरा सुधारहरूलाई स्वीकारेनौ र मेरो विरुद्धमा हिँड्न छोडेनौ भने,
And if by these things you will not be turned to me, but still go against me;
24 म तिमीहरूका विरुद्ध हुने छु, र तिमीहरूका पापका कारण म तिमीहरूलाई सात गुणा दण्ड दिने छु ।
Then I will go against you, and I will give you punishment, I myself, seven times for all your sins.
25 म तिमीहरूमाथि तरवार प्रहार गर्ने छु र तिमीहरूले करार भङ्ग गरेको कारण त्यस तरवारले बदला लिने छ । तिमीहरू आफ्ना सहरहरूमा भेला गराइने छौ, र तिमीहरूका बिचमा मैले एउटा रोग पठाउने छु, र तिमीहरूका दुश्मनका हातमा तिमीहरूलाई सुम्पने छु ।
And I will send a sword on you to give effect to the punishment of my agreement; and when you come together into your towns I will send disease among you and you will be given up into the hands of your haters.
26 जब म तिमीहरूका भोजनको आपूर्ति रोकिदिने छु, दस जना स्त्रीले एउटै भाँडोमा तिमीहरूका निम्ति रोटी बनाउने छन्, र वजनअनुसार तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूका रोटी वितरण गर्ने छन् । तिमीहरूले खाने त छौ, तर तृप्त हुने छैनौ ।
When I take away your bread of life, ten women will be cooking bread in one oven, and your bread will be measured out by weight; you will have food but never enough.
27 यी कुराहरू हुँदाहुँदै पनि तिमीहरूले मेरो कुरा सुनेनौ र मेरो विरुद्ध हिँडिरह्यौ भने,
And if, after all this, you do not give ear to me, but go against me still,
28 म क्रोधित हुने छु र तिमीहरूको विरुद्ध हुने छु, र तिमीहरूका पापभन्दा सात गुणा बढी दण्ड म दिने छु ।
Then my wrath will be burning against you, and I will give you punishment, I myself, seven times for your sins.
29 तिमीहरूले आफ्ना छोराछोरीहरूका मासु खाने छौ ।
Then you will take the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters for food;
30 म तिमीहरूका डाँडाका थानहरू नाश गर्ने छु, तिमीहरूका धूपका वेदीहरू भत्काइदिने छु, र तिमीहरूका लाशहरू तिमीहरूका मृत मूर्तिहरूमाथि फालिदिने छु, र म तिमीहरूलाई तिरस्कार गर्ने छु ।
And I will send destruction on your high places, overturning your perfume altars, and will put your dead bodies on your broken images, and my soul will be turned from you in disgust.
31 म तिमीहरूका सहरहरूलाई भग्नावशेषमा परिणत गरिदिने छु र तिमीहरूका पवित्र स्थलहरू नष्ट गरिदिने छु । म तिमीहरूका बलिदानहरूका सुगन्धबाट प्रसन्न हुने छैनँ ।
And I will make your towns waste and send destruction on your holy places; I will take no pleasure in the smell of your sweet perfumes;
32 म तिमीहरूका देशलाई ध्वस्त पारिदिने छु । त्यहाँ बस्ने तिमीहरूका दुश्मनहरूले त्यस्तो विनाश देखेर आश्चर्यचकित हुने छन् ।
And I will make your land a waste, a wonder to your haters living in it.
33 म तिमीहरूलाई जाति-जातिहरूका बिचमा तितरबितर पारिदिने छु, र मेरो तरवार निकालेर तिमीहरूको पछि लाग्ने छु । तिमीहरूको देश त्यागिने छ र तिमीहरूका सहरहरू विनाश हुने छन् ।
And I will send you out in all directions among the nations, and my sword will be uncovered against you, and your land will be without any living thing, and your towns will be made waste.
34 त्यो देश जबसम्म त्यागिएको हुन्छ र जबसम्म तिमीहरू दुश्मनको भूमिमा हुन्छौ, तबसम्म त्यो देशले शबाथ मनाउने छ । त्यस समयसम्म देशले विश्राम गर्ने छ र आफ्नो शबाथ मनाउने छ ।
Then will the land take pleasure in its Sabbaths while it is waste and you are living in the land of your haters; then will the land have rest.
35 त्यो जबसम्म त्यागिएको हुन्छ, त्यो विश्राममा हुन्छ । तिमीहरू त्यहाँ बसोबास गर्दा तिमीहरूका शबाथसँगै त्यसले यस्तो विश्राम पाएको थिएन ।
All the days while it is waste will the land have rest, such rest as it never had in your Sabbaths, when you were living in it.
36 तिमीहरूका दुश्मनका देशमा छोडिएकाहरूका हृदयहरूमा यस्तो डर हालिदिने छु, कि हावाले पात हल्लाउँदा आउने आवाजले तिमीहरूलाई झस्काउने छ, र तिमीहरू तरवारबाट टाढा भागेझैँ दौडने छौ । कसैले तिमीहरूलाई नखेदेको भए पनि तिमीहरू लड्ने छौ ।
And as for the rest of you, I will make their hearts feeble in the land of their haters, and the sound of a leaf moved by the wind will send them in flight, and they will go in flight as from the sword, falling down when no one comes after them;
37 कसैले नखेदेको भए तापनि तिमीहरू तरवारबाट टाढा भागेझैँ भाग्ने छौ र एक-अर्कासँग ठोकिने छौ । तिमीहरूसँग आफ्ना दुश्मनहरूको अगाडि उभिने तागत हुने छैन ।
Falling on one another, as before the sword, when no one comes after them; you will give way before your haters.
38 तिमीहरू जाति-जातिहरूका बिचमा नष्ट हुने छौ, र तिमीहरूका दुश्मनको भूमिले तिमीहरूलाई निल्ने छ ।
And death will overtake you among strange nations, and the land of your haters will be your destruction.
39 तिमीहरूमध्ये बाँकी रहेकाहरू तिमीहरूका दुश्मनको देशमा आफ्ना पाप र आफ्ना पुर्खाहरूको पापका कारण खतम हुने छन् ।
And those of you who are still living will be wasting away in their sins in the land of your haters; in the sins of their fathers they will be wasting away.
40 तर यदि तिनीहरूले आफ्ना र आफ्ना पुर्खाहरूका पाप, मप्रति विश्वासहीन भएर गरेका विद्रोह, र मेरो विरुद्धको हिँडाइलाई स्वीकारे भने-
And they will have grief for their sins and for the sins of their fathers, when their hearts were untrue to me, and they went against me;
41 जसले गर्दा म तिनीहरूको विरुद्ध भएँ र तिनीहरूलाई मैले तिनीहरूका दुश्मनको देशमा ल्याएँ- र यदि तिनीहरूका कठोर कठोर हृदय नम्र भए, अनि तिनीहरूले आफ्ना पापका कारण दण्डहरू स्वीकारे भने,
So that I went against them and sent them away into the land of their haters: if then the pride of their hearts is broken and they take the punishment of their sins,
42 मैले याकूब, इसहाक र अब्राहामसँग गरेको मेरो करारको सम्झना गर्ने छु, र त्यो देशलाई पनि सम्झने छु ।
Then I will keep in mind the agreement which I made with Jacob and with Isaac and with Abraham, and I will keep in mind the land.
43 त्यो देश तिनीहरूद्वारा त्यागिने छ, र यसैकारण त्यो त्यागिएको समयमा त्यसले शबाथ मनाउने छ । तिनीहरू आफैले मेरा आज्ञाहरू इन्कार गरेका र मेरा नियमहरूलाई घृणा गरेका हुनाले तिनीहरूले आफ्ना पापको दण्ड पाउने छन् ।
And the land, while she is without them, will keep her Sabbaths; and they will undergo the punishment of their sins, because they were turned away from my decisions and in their souls was hate for my laws.
44 यी सबै कुरा हुँदाहुँदै पनि तिनीहरू आफ्ना दुश्मनको भूमिमा हुँदा म तिनीहरूलाई इन्कार गर्ने छैनँ, न त तिनीहरूलाई पूर्ण रूपमा नष्ट गर्न र तिनीहरूसँगको मेरो करारबाट टाढा हुनको निम्ति तिनीहरूलाई घृणा गर्ने छु, किनभने म परमप्रभु तिनीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ ।
But for all that, when they are in the land of their haters I will not let them go, or be turned away from them, or give them up completely; my agreement with them will not be broken, for I am the Lord their God.
45 तर तिनीहरूका खातिर मैले तिनीहरूका पुर्खाहरूसँग बाँधेको करारको सम्झना म गर्ने छु, जुन पुर्खाहरूलाई म तिनीहरूका परमेश्वर हुन सकूँ भनेर मैले मिश्र देशबाट बाहिर ल्याएँ । म परमप्रभु हुँ ।”
And because of them I will keep in mind the agreement which I made with their fathers, whom I took out of the land of Egypt before the eyes of the nations, to be their God: I am the Lord.
46 परमप्रभुले सीनै पर्वतमा मोशाद्वारा उहाँ र इस्राएलका मानिसहरूका बिचमा दिनुभएका आज्ञाहरू, विधिहरू र नियमहरू यी नै हुन् ।
These are the rules, decisions, and laws, which the Lord made between himself and the children of Israel in Mount Sinai, by the hand of Moses.
