यहोशू 15
1 यहूदाका मानिसहरूको कुलको निम्ति कुल-कुलअनुसार भू-भागको भाग सूदूर दक्षिणतिरको चोसो हुँदै जीनको मरुभूमिसँगै एदोमको सिमानाको दक्षिणसम्म थियो ।
Now the allotment for the clans of the tribe of Judah extended to the border of Edom, to the Wilderness of Zin at the extreme southern boundary:
2 दक्षिणतिरको सिमाना खारा समुद्रदेखि दक्षिणी मोहडाको खाडीसम्म जान्छ ।
Their southern border started at the bay on the southern tip of the Salt Sea,
3 तिनीहरूको सिमाना अक्रब्बीमको डाँडाको दक्षिण हुँदै जीनतिर जान्थ्यो, र कादेश-बर्नेको दक्षिणतिर हेस्रोनसँगै अद्दारसम्म जान्थ्यो, जहाँ यो कर्कातिर घुमेको थियो ।
proceeded south of the Ascent of Akrabbim, continued on to Zin, went over to the south of Kadesh-barnea, ran past Hezron up to Addar, and curved toward Karka.
4 यो अज्मोन हुँदै मिश्रको खोलासम्म र समुद्रको अन्तसम्म आयो । यो तिनीहरूको दक्षिणी सिमाना थियो ।
It proceeded to Azmon, joined the Brook of Egypt, and ended at the Sea. This was their southern border.
5 पूर्वी सिमाना यर्दनको मुखमा खारा समुद्र थियो । उत्तरतिरको सिमाना यर्दनको मुखमा भएको समुद्रको खाडीबाट जान्थ्यो ।
The eastern border was the Salt Sea as far as the mouth of the Jordan. The northern border started from the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan,
6 यो बेथ-अराबालाई छिचलेर बेथहोग्लातिर गयो । त्यसपछि यो रूबेनका छोरा बोहनको ढुङ्गातिर माथि जान्थ्यो ।
went up to Beth-hoglah, proceeded north of Beth-arabah, and went up to the Stone of Bohan son of Reuben.
7 त्यसपछि सिमाना आकोरको बेँसीबाट दबीरतिर माथि लाग्यो, र यस्तै उत्तरतिर, गिलगालतिर मोडिएर, जुन अदुममीमको डाँडाको सामुन्ने छ, जुन बेँसीको दक्षिणपट्टि छ । त्यो सिमाना एम-शेमेशको पानीका मूलहरू हुँदै एन-रिगेलतिर गयो ।
Then the border went up to Debir from the Valley of Achor, turning north to Gilgal, which faces the Ascent of Adummim south of the ravine. It continued along the waters of En-shemesh and came out at En-rogel.
8 अनि त्यो सिमाना यबूसी (त्यो भनेको यरूशलेम हो) सहरको दक्षिणतिरको बेन-हिन्नोमको बेँसीतिर माथि निस्क्यो । यो हिन्नोमको बेँसीमाथि पर्ने डाँडाको टुप्पोसम्म निस्क्यो, पश्चिममा, जुन रपाईको बेँसीको उत्ततिरको छेउमा छ ।
From there the border went up the Valley of Hinnom along the southern slope of the Jebusites (that is, Jerusalem) and ascended to the top of the hill that faces the Valley of Hinnom on the west, at the northern end of the Valley of Rephaim.
9 त्यसपछि सिमाना नेप्तोहको पानीको मुहानतिरको डाँडाको चुचुरोदेखि, र त्यहाँबाट एप्रोन पहाडका सहरहरू निस्क्यो ।
From the hilltop the border curved to the spring of the Waters of Nephtoah, proceeded to the cities of Mount Ephron, and then bent around toward Baalah (that is, Kiriath-jearim).
10 सिमाना बाला (किर्यत-यारीम हो) तिर मोडिन्छ । त्यसपछि सिमानाबालाको पश्चिमबाट सेइर पहाडसम्म घेरा लगायो, र उत्तरतिर यारीम पहाडको (यसलाई कसालोन भनिन्छ) छेउ हुँदै बेथ-शेमेशतिर ओरालो झरेर तिम्ना पार गर्यो ।
The border curled westward from Baalah to Mount Seir, ran along the northern slope of Mount Jearim (that is, Chesalon), went down to Beth-shemesh, and crossed to Timnah.
11 सिमाना एक्रोनको उत्तरी डाँडाको किनारा निस्क्यो र यो शिककरोनतिर मोडिन्छ अनि बाला पहाड हुँदै, यो त्यहाँबाट यब्नेलतिर गयो । त्यो सिमाना समुद्रमा टुङ्गियो ।
Then it went out to the northern slope of Ekron, curved toward Shikkeron, proceeded to Mount Baalah, went on to Jabneel, and ended at the Sea.
12 पश्चिमी सिमाना महासमुद्र र यसको किनारा थियो । यो यहूदा वंशको कुल-कुलअनुसारको सिमाना हो ।
And the western border was the coastline of the Great Sea. These are the boundaries around the clans of the descendants of Judah.
13 परमप्रभुले यहोशूलाई दिनुभएको आज्ञामुताबिक यहोशूले यपून्नेका छोरा कालेबलाई किर्यत-अर्बा अर्थात् हेब्रोन (अर्बा अनाकका पिता थिए) यहूदाको कुलको माझ भू-भाग दिए ।
According to the LORD’s command to him, Joshua gave Caleb son of Jephunneh a portion among the sons of Judah—Kiriath-arba, that is, Hebron. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)
14 कालेबले त्यहाँबाट तिन जना अनाकका छोरालाई धपाएः शेशै, अहीमान र तल्मै जो अनाकका सन्तानहरू थिए ।
And Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak—the descendants of Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
15 त्यहाँबाट तिनी दबीरका सन्तानहरूलाई (दबीरलाई किर्यत-सेपेर भनिन्थ्यो) आक्रमण गर्न गए ।
From there he marched against the inhabitants of Debir (formerly known as Kiriath-sepher).
16 कालेबले भने, “जुन मानिसले किर्यत-सेपेर आक्रमण गर्छ र यसलाई कब्जा गर्छ, त्यसलाई म मेरो छोरी अक्सालाई पत्नीको रूपमा दिने छु ।”
And Caleb said, “To the man who strikes down Kiriath-sepher and captures it, I will give my daughter Acsah in marriage.”
17 जब कालेबका भाइ कनजका छोरा ओत्निएलले यसलाई कब्जा गरे, कालेबले तिनलाई तिनकी छोरी अक्सा पत्नीको रूपमा दिए ।
So Othniel son of Caleb’s brother Kenaz captured the city, and Caleb gave his daughter Acsah to him in marriage.
18 त्यपछि चाँडै अक्सा ओत्निएलकहाँ आइन् र उनले तिनलाई आफ्नो बुबासँग खेत माग्न आग्रह गरिन् । जब तिनी आफ्नो गधाबाट ओर्लिन्, कालेबले तिनलाई भने, “तिमी के चाहन्छ्यौ?”
One day Acsah came to Othniel and urged him to ask her father for a field. When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, “What do you desire?”
19 अक्साले जवाफ दिइन्, “मलाई विशेष कृपा गर्नुहोस्, किनभने तपाईंले मलाई नेगेवको भू-भाग दिनुभएको छ, मलाई पानीका मुहानहरू पनि दिनुहोस् ।” अनि कालेबले तिनलाई पानीका माथिल्लो र तल्लो मुहानहरू दिए ।
“Give me a blessing,” she answered. “Since you have given me land in the Negev, give me springs of water as well.” So Caleb gave her both the upper and lower springs.
20 कुल-कुलअनुसार यहूदा वंशका उत्तराधिकार यही थियो ।
This is the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Judah.
21 यहूदा कुलको अधीनमा रहेका सुदूर दक्षिणका सहरहरू एदोमको सिमानातिर यी नै थिएः कब्सेल, एदेर, यागूर,
These were the southernmost cities of the tribe of Judah in the Negev toward the border of Edom: Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,
22 कीना, दीमोना, अदाद,
Kinah, Dimonah, Adadah,
23 केदेश, हासोर, यित्नान,
Kedesh, Hazor, Ithnan,
24 जीप, तेलेम, बालोत,
Ziph, Telem, Bealoth,
25 हासोरहादत्ता, किर्योत-हेस्रोन (जुन हासोर हो),
Hazor-hadattah, Kerioth-hezron (that is, Hazor),
26 अमाम, शेमा, मोलादा,
Amam, Shema, Moladah,
27 हसर-गद्दा, हेश्मोन, बेथ-पालेत,
Hazar-gaddah, Heshmon, Beth-pelet,
28 हसर-शूआल, बेर्शेबा, बिज्योत्या ।
Hazar-shual, Beersheba, Biziothiah,
29 बाला, ईम, एसेम,
Baalah, Iim, Ezem,
30 एल्तोलद, कसील, होर्मा,
Eltolad, Chesil, Hormah,
31 सिक्लग, मद्मन्न, सन्सन्ना,
Ziklag, Madmannah, Sansannah,
32 लबाओत, शिल्हीम, ऐन, रिम्मोन । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहितका सब उनन्तिस सहर थिए ।
Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain, and Rimmon—twenty-nine cities in all, along with their villages.
33 पश्चिमतिरको तल्लो पहाडी देशमा, एश्तोल, सोरा, अश्ना,
These were in the foothills: Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah,
34 जानोह, एनगन्नीम, तप्पूह, एनाम,
Zanoah, En-gannim, Tappuah, Enam,
35 यर्मूत, अदूल्लाम, सोको, आजेका,
Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah,
36 शारैम, अदीतैम, र गदेरा (अर्थात् गदेरोतेम)। यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित चौध सहर थिए ।
Shaaraim, Adithaim, and Gederah (or Gederothaim)—fourteen cities, along with their villages.
37 सनान, हदाशा, मिग्दलाद,
Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal-gad,
38 दिलान, मिस्पा, योक्तेल,
Dilan, Mizpeh, Joktheel,
39 लाकीश, बोस्कत, एग्लोन,
Lachish, Bozkath, Eglon,
40 कोब्बन, लहमास, कितलीश,
Cabbon, Lahmas, Chitlish,
41 गदेरोत, बेथ-दागोन, नामा, मक्केदा । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित सोह्रवटा थिए ।
Gederoth, Beth-dagon, Naamah, and Makkedah—sixteen cities, along with their villages.
42 लिब्ना, एतेर, आशान,
Libnah, Ether, Ashan,
43 यिप्ताह, अश्ना, नसीब,
Iphtah, Ashnah, Nezib,
44 कीलाह, अक्जीब, मारेशा । यिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित नौवटा सहर थिए ।
Keilah, Achzib, and Mareshah—nine cities, along with their villages.
45 यसका वरिपरिका नगरहरू र गाउँहरूसहित एक्रोन;
Ekron, with its towns and villages;
46 एक्रोनदेखि महासमुद्रसम्म, तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित अश्दोद नजिकका सबै बस्ती ।
from Ekron to the sea, all the cities near Ashdod, along with their villages;
47 अश्दोद, यसका वरिपरिका तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित नगरहरू, गाजा, यसका वरिपरिका तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित नगरहरू; मिश्रको खोलासम्म, र यसको किनारासँगै महासमुद्रसम्म ।
Ashdod, with its towns and villages; Gaza, with its towns and villages, as far as the Brook of Egypt and the coastline of the Great Sea.
48 पहाडी देशमा, शामीर, यत्तीर, सोको,
These were in the hill country: Shamir, Jattir, Socoh,
49 दन्ना, किर्यत-सन्ना (अर्थात् दबीर),
Dannah, Kiriath-sannah (that is, Debir),
50 अनाब, एश्तमोह, अनीम,
Anab, Eshtemoh, Anim,
51 गोशेन, होलोन, गीलोह । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहितका एघार सहर थिए ।
Goshen, Holon, and Giloh—eleven cities, along with their villages.
52 अरब, दुमा, एशान,
Arab, Dumah, Eshan,
53 यानूम, बेथ-तप्पूह, अपेका,
Janim, Beth-tappuah, Aphekah,
54 हुम्ता, किर्यत-अर्बा (अर्थात् हेब्रोन), र सीओर । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहितका नौवटा नगर हुन् ।
Humtah, Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), and Zior—nine cities, along with their villages.
55 माओन, कर्मेल, जीप, युक्ता,
Maon, Carmel, Ziph, Juttah,
56 यिजरेल, योक्दाम, जानोह,
Jezreel, Jokdeam, Zanoah,
57 कैन, गिबा र तिम्ना । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित दसवटा सहर थिए ।
Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah—ten cities, along with their villages.
58 हलहूल, बेथ-सर, गदोर,
Halhul, Beth-zur, Gedor,
59 मारात, बेथ-अनोत र एल्तकोन । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित छवटा सहर थिए ।
Maarath, Beth-anoth, and Eltekon—six cities, along with their villages.
60 किर्यत-बाल (अर्थात् किर्यत-यारीम), र रब्बा । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका सहरहरूसहित दुईवटा सहर थिए ।
Kiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim), and Rabbah—two cities, along with their villages.
61 मरुभूमिमा त्यहाँ बेथ-अराबा, मिद्दीन, सकाका,
These were in the wilderness: Beth-arabah, Middin, Secacah,
62 निब्शान, नूनको सहर र एन-गदी थिए । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका सहरहरूसहित छवटा सहर थिए ।
Nibshan, the City of Salt, and En-gedi—six cities, along with their villages.
63 तर यबूसीहरू अर्थात् यरूशलेमका बासिन्दाहरूको सवालमा यहूदाका कुलले तिनीहरूलाई धपाउन सकेनन्, त्यसैले आजको दिनसम्म पनि यबूसीहरू यहूदाको कुलको माझमा बस्छन् ।
But the descendants of Judah could not drive out the Jebusites living in Jerusalem. So to this day the Jebusites live there among the descendants of Judah.
